My wife heard that they do walk up nail trims. I was cheerily greeted by Paula, who said they could do it right now. I brought in Dog 1, year and a half old blood hound. First nail trim. She did not want anything to do with this nonsense. Danielle came over and assisted and with her calming demeaner, and Paula's skilled clipping it was done without blood or yelping, not even from the dog. Dog 2, she's 7, too school for cool, everything bores her except lizards. I think she almost fell asleep during the trimming. Have not seen Paula there in months. My yorkie loved her so much and very comfortable with her. Katy does a great job but havent seen her as much. Daniel cut her nails for $20.00 last time and didnt trim them enough. Price went up by $5.00. Just wondering whats going on there. read more

Got an older dog and a puppy groomed here. Both were treated well! Clean establishment. Sometimes they can be hard to get a hold of to schedule an appointment, but maybe that was just due to COVID. Otherwise, no complaints! I would definitely recommend this place to others. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Katy. I have a teacup Pom and she does a wonderful job with her hair. She plays outside a ton and loves the beach and the water so she gets very dirty and matted. She always comes back to me looking perfect. I won't let anyone else groom Monroe. She has also done my large german shepherd and he looked so handsome and clean. Her prices are so so reasonable. So happy to have found her!! read more

Extremely disappointed! Both of my dogs acted like they were terrified when we picked them up. They were running to hide behind us. My girls never act like that, even around strangers. The girl working the day I was there was not very friendly to us. The grooming was not impressive. It only took one hour for both of my 100lb, long-haired dogs, which I found odd since it usually takes a few hours for both. The icing on the cake....My older dog had a nick behind her ear that was still bleeding when we picked them up. I know these things happen, but they could have at least mentioned it to me. I've never written a bad review in my life, but I couldn't stop myself this time because my dogs deserved better! read more

Absolutely 5 stars for their fantastic grooming talent. My groomers retired in Dec ( Morro Bay Bowser Boutique) and I was so thrilled that young and very skilled gals filled the void! I have had my Standard Poodle groomed by the same folks for 5 years and was eager to see how we'd do with the changing of the guard, seamlessly! Highly& proudly recommending, and several neighbors have used them for large and small dogs,and everyone is pleased! My dog looks fantastic,we will be back every month! Great groomers and great people. I know Katy since 2014 when I moved to Central Coast. She really likes her work and always does a great job with Tato. Schnauzers need regular grooming or else they wind up with dread locks! Katy always takes the extra time with Tato. I live in Baywood-Los Osos so Bowser Boutique is super convenient for me. I bring our two pugs here for nail trim and filing. They are never easy to trim. I run them around the block a few times to wear them out. The ladies here always manage to manage the wiggling to get the job done. I think Henry likes the attention from the pretty ladies. First time client. Rebecca took a lot of time and listened to what I wanted in terms of a cut. I was very happy with the overall result. My only really complaint was that I was given one price on the phone and $15 more when I picked up my dog. She did make it right by meeting me in the middle and we agreed that next time the charge would be more. They only take cash or checks, at the time of our appt. there wasn't anything posted, luckily I happened to have cash on hand. Overall a good experience, my dog was very happy when I picked her up and I appreciate how they listened and asked for feedback. I'm happy we've found a new groomer! read more

Just moved to Morro Bay, so finding a groomer for our Standard Poodle, Jewels, was on the to-do list. Both Rebecca and Katy were super friendly and appreciated Jewel's demeanor. Jewels is getting elderly, so they needed to extend a little extra care for her. They were great. Jewels loved being there, and she left looking like her Diva self....beautiful. Just had my 6 year old white Shepard golden mix groomed by Katie and Paula. What an amazing job! He really dislikes grooming (esp his tail end). They were patient and kind and he looks like a new guy! No more dried poo in tail feathers! Very reasonable for a tough 3 hour job too. Eh. Not impressed. They were super sweet to my 10 month old English Cream Golden but hardly anything I asked for was done. When I dropped him off all 3 stations had dogs in them, okay he was going to have to wait, they told me 2 hours & would call if it would be longer...I go in 2 hours & 15 mins later...he still needs his paw trimmed so I wait 15 more mins in my car. His hind quarters I asked to be trimmed very minimally were if at all, the super long hair behind his ears weren't trimmed which I specifically asked for, the fur is all choppy & unevenly blunt on his front legs & he's been shaking his head non-stop & pawing at his ears since (never had any problems before). I just barely put my finger in his ears to see if I could tell anything and he still has dirty ear build up (mind you I took him in yesterday). I said on the phone & when I dropped him off I wanted everything & I feel like nothing was done, especially for it to take 2.5 hours which is insane when an appointment was made. The only positive is they were super sweet to him & said he was a very well behaved dog. Also, I'm not sure if this is normal or not so it didn't effect my review but brushing him today I've never EVER had so much hair coming off of him. If he just got groomed yesterday shouldn't shedding be at a minimal today? read more

My Westie, Winnie, had her first appt. with Katy today. My original groomer, Susan Gordon, retired in Dec., and Winnie had not had a decent haircut since. I live in Arroyo Grande and had tried numerous groomers in the South County area. Susan Gordon recommended I try Bowzer Boutique, and I was able to get an appt. w/o a long wait. When I dropped Winnie off for her appt., Katy took the time to ask specifics about what kind of cut I wanted and looked at pictures of Winnie to familiarize herself with the look I was hoping for.
