I'll be honest.... I stalked One Stop Pet Grooming before Cannonball was even old enough for his first groom. I could already tell they were different. They are that good and that busy so get on the list early. Worth every bit of the wait and the money. I have two dogs. Cannonball is my wild black Goldendoodle puppy and Duchess is my 11 year old girl who has been through a lot and doesn't trust easily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Watching her walk willingly into the salon with Sarah almost made me cry. If you knew this dog you'd completely understand what that moment meant. She even trusted Dave! Which is saying something bc Duchess isn't the biggest fan of men.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was only Cannon's second visit and Kassie got down on the floor to greet him. He climbed right into her lap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He looks absolutely incredible and we can't go anywhere without people stopping us. Cannon is my first dog that needs real grooming and I had so much to learn. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Between Dave, Sarah Kassie and the whole team I've walked out knowing more every single time. The entire team is trained in pet CPR and knows risks most groomers have never even heard of -- like heat stroke from blow dryers. No kennels, no crates, spotless shop, amazing atmosphere. I cannot yet speak to the professional grooming (which I'm sure is top-notch), but I came in for a self-wash and was greeted by Dave, one of the owners. After the required vaccination records and waiver signing, he set me up in the beautiful tub room and showed me several grooming techniques to implement and that I'll now be able to add to my grooming skillset. As someone who is always learning and approaching life from a growth mindset, I really appreciated that. It's not something you will get at other self-serve wash stations. It's not even something you'll get at other grooming salons! You can tell they are truly passionate about grooming here and want you and your pet to have the best experience possible. The space is tucked into the back corner of the Pismo Coast Shopping Plaza, and is on the same side as Starbucks, down next to the Rite Aid. Their lobby is super large, giving dogs plenty of space to come and go. The grooming salon is not "in the back" (for those of us with trust issues, ha), so you can watch all the dogs, including yours, getting groomed. The self-wash is great--professional grade shampoo, two towels, brushes available for a little extra, and I don't think there's anywhere else in the county that offers variable speed heated force dryers. All of that for a very reasonable price (in my case, $22). I'll definitely be back. read more

Since it's been a complete year now of grooming every 4-6 weeks I thought I would update my precious post. We LOVE One Stop! Hands down best groomers around. My dog has some separation anxiety and we are beyond lucky to have a dimly met them at the dog beach. My girl Chloe loves them and always comes out looking like a show stopper! We took my service dog to do a self-bathe and blow out. Dave was very informative on how to wet, shampoo, and dry her in the self wash stations. The staff was there if I had any questions. They were amazing, clean, and helpful. I enjoyed learning new techniques on canine care. My dog came out squeeky clean, happy about the whole experience and without offensive perfumes.
