Moravec employees failed to apply a simple two foot barrier to protect our walkway. As a direct result of this failure, drill cuttings (similar to heavy grey clay) followed our decorative walkway, went into our garage, down the side of our home, and into our yard and ornamental pond. Well drilling is a messy business, but this nightmare was 100% preventable, which they've admitted multiple times. Drill cuttings, up to eight inches deep, are accumulated on our walkway, against our foundation, and splattered up our siding. As you can imagine, emails, phone calls, and in person visits ensued. BMI accepted responsibility, then denied responsibility, accepted responsibility again, and then denied responsibility again. They never showed up (or call, or anything) at the end of August and beginning of September when they finally scheduled to excavate the mess, so there was more back-and-forth. Our home is damaged. The entire 2 day move was more stressful as a result of the services rendered by BSB. We have had expert movers move us across states so we are aware of what to expect and we communicated our needs clearly to the owner Eric and throughout the move. We even had to help and be a part of the move to get it done. Most of the crew did not follow our instructions or Eric's. Eric himself caused damages. The service was not as promised and definitely not expert, there was less care taken than we have experienced with day movers hired from UHaul. One item that was damaged was partially remedied with a good resolution but when I provided Eric the list of additional damages, including damages to the lawn, large ruts, and tried to work on a resolution to reimburse us for damages he showed up unannounced to our home with an officer. I was never provided the certificate of insurance which I requested prior to the move. I understand our move was complex but we were charged an additional $2,233. The discussion about damages went from civil to no discussion at all. The move was not complete after the 2 days and he promised to finish it on Saturday but he reneged and instead showed up with an officer and was not willing to discuss the damages.

Two hours prior to the appointment, they changed their mind and asked for double, which appeared predatory and mercenary as they knew I was in a fairly desperate state to have my computer installed. I never got a chance to test out their computer installation skills but I had enough experience with their business practices to prevent me from recommending them to other consumers in the area.

They called me back immediately after I sent a request for an estimate. These guys are very personable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were very patient and understand my stress moving to a new city. After setting a date and time, they called a couple of times to re-confirm and always kept in contact with me. Although they arrived late due to the truck not being available on time (and because they are coming from Buffalo), they called me to let me know their ETA. They treated my belongings as their own. Jade was so kind to double wrap my medical degree when he realized that it did not have enough protection before placing in the truck. Scott and Jade work very well together and did an efficient and speedy job getting my two bedroom worth of belongings into the truck. They then drove to Pittsburgh same day and unpacked my things into the rooms designated. They had a grueling day which did not finish until 9 pm in Pittsburgh but they were professional and always had a positive attitude. I very much enjoyed having them moving my belongings, and I am very pleased with their work. I have endorsed them to other colleagues of mine who are looking for movers, and one of them hired Scott and Jade for later in the week.
