This…read moreunique shop located in Pearlridge Center Wai Makai side and is not your typical shop as it seems to be more for the collectors as in the back there's a wall filled with Funko Pop and Pokémon cards in display case among finding some unique characters like One Piece and Skzoo to name a few though the load of Sanrio and Pokémon are found here as well. This spacious shop is very clean and organized which makes it very easy to browse and see what they have to offer, and seems like they also buy, sell and trade items as well which is pretty cool though not sure how it's done but for the true collector this is a great deal and a valuable convenient place to do so, it's not quite my vibe but is a cute shop which many seem to enjoy. The store layout is similar to stores in the Bay Area with various cards in glass cases and less valuable cards in bins organized by sport and age. There were comic books and magazines towards the back of the store. I am bit out of touch with card collecting as it's been several decades since I kept up. The market has changed where they are now a commodity. Those in-the-know will attest to that. Caught up with the momentum of history possibly being made the following week, I bought a Patrick Mahomes card. Thank you to Dave and Jeff who manned the store and answered questions as they came up. They told me that the owner, Calvin, has been in the business for quite a while and I might have likely shopped at his store in the '90's when the hobby was still of interest to me.

The faces were stained (see photo 2 and 4), the kuromi hat was a STICKER (see photo 1). The entire product was smudged and ripping. Even the foot was BACKWARDS (see photo 6). I get that there are replicas of popular name brand product but at least tell me that it is a replica or it's not authentic. OR in the very least have the product not look like shit and paying the same price as an authentic one. These are HORRIBLE. I have my genuine afternoon tea series pochacco next to the box they sold to me and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. The head is crooked, I can see the stitch ripping on its head (see photo 4), and there's a black smudge on his face. This is not worth $30, even if I didn't know what the real one looked like. I WILL NEVER BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. As a small business owner, I would never sell something of this quality to anyone. This is shameful. Very disappointed in product quality.

In the early '90's, when my friends and I were annually coming here for the Pro Bowl, we'd wander the strip malls along Kam Highway. After stopping at another nearby store, we found this shop coincidentally right by where I was going to suggest having lunch. As my friend browsed, I studied the glass cases and it reminded me of my request for my Bay Area friend to find me a particular WNBA superstar's card. Not knowing the market price, I bought a card due to its high grade.
