Great place to find old school toys for people of all ages, young and old. They have rocket kits, r/c kits and parts, kites, rubber band guns, and other miscellaneous hobbies. Sure you could buy many of these things online, but you don't get the same experience as coming down here with your kids. Support local!

We got some finishing ideas from some of the models on display at the Hobby Company when we did this one.

I purchased this great plastic model Triceratops diorama set from the Hobby Company. I came to this store while visiting over the holidays from Maui. There is nothing like this store over there or even on Oahu as I found out. No one has the variety of plastic model kits as these guys do. Most of the other stores only sell gundam-type models. This was the perfect gift for my son. The salesperson was very polite and showed me the different kinds of cement they had. Overall, I think these guys are great!

Nice little hobby/art store tucked away in the Bradley Shopping Center. I was looking for Christmas gifts, and was directed to this place by Jelly's who didn't have what I was looking for. This place had what I needed and so much more. Its definitely a geek store. Lots of model planes, cars. Those little characters that people build and paint for those fantasy games (not sure of the proper term for this).. Puzzles, but didn't have that great of a selection, and then art supplies in the back. I also witnessed one the workers working on a pretty expensive looking remote control car. The guy that checked me out was very friendly and talkative. Had a nice conversation with him. The store and everything in it does look a little outdated though. its as if its stuck in the 90s.. Good store, good people. I'll be back.

Do you have 1:400 scale geminijets?

No Gemini Jets has an online club that competes directly with brick and mortor stores. We do carry the Sky Mark line of airliners

Do you have Tamiya bottle paints? If it is, can you send them to Makiki? Because I am a person with disabilities, it is hard to get there.

Sure give us a call with a list of the paints you want. We will call you back with a total and hand carry them our self to your door step. We would charge a $10 service fee. US Post office does not allow us to legally send liquids in the mail.… Read more

Do they still have Model Trains in HO Scale?

Yes we still carry Bachmann HO Strain sets and some of Bachmanns accessories & track. Come on down.

My friend knew what he sought while I browsed and reminisced as I saw different sports cards. The store layout is similar to stores in the Bay Area with various cards in glass cases and less valuable cards in bins organized by sport and age. I saw a cabinet on the right with some memorabilia from the Pro Bowl from years gone by ()https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=408&select=i24JOx064HzUlh0BmyKj-g. I am bit out of touch with card collecting as it's been several decades since I kept up. The market has changed where they are now a commodity. Those in-the-know will attest to that. Caught up with the momentum of history possibly being made the following week, I bought a Patrick Mahomes card. Thank you to Dave and Jeff who manned the store and answered questions as they came up. They told me that the owner, Calvin, has been in the business for quite a while and I might have likely shopped at his store in the '90's when the hobby was still of interest to me.

My travel companion on this trip told me his wish to do this so I made a point to dedicate time for this. In the early '90's, when my friends and I were annually coming here for the Pro Bowl, we'd wander the strip malls along Kam Highway. After stopping at another nearby store, we found this shop coincidentally right by where I was going to suggest having lunch. As my friend browsed, I studied the glass cases and it reminded me of my request for my Bay Area friend to find me a particular WNBA superstar's card. Not knowing the market price, I bought a card due to its high grade. I had over 2100 cards and scanned each one on TCG and got a total market value over over $600. When I went in Friday night to bring the cards the manager Stephen was not there but I was helped by a friendly gentleman that took down my information. I was texted Sunday evening by Stephen and offered $153 for everything! I was floored because that was no where near 70% of what the TCG market value was. I declined and he inquired on what price I was looking to get. I said I'd like at least $450 based on the market and being told 70%. He proceeded to say that there were "nearly 1500 cards...and average 30cents/card. No other store is going to offer more than $50 on it." I told him that there were 2182 cards and that we scanned each one. He then proceeded to offer $145 for the cards that "weren't bulk". I told him I'd be by around 5:30 and we could chat. When I arrived I told the young lady I was there to see Stephen. Another gentleman stood up and handed my box of cards. I said Stephen told me that there were some he was interested in. Stephen then came out the back and said these are the ones I want for $145 and if they get mixed in with the others never mind. I said you don't want to negotiate. He said I made my offer and turned and left. I was shocked at the rudeness and unprofessional attitude. I took my box and sat down with my family and counted all the cards to make sure they were all there because after that interaction I had no trust at all. All the cards were accounted for and we got up and left. I would never go back to this establishment based on this experience and advise not to use this business for trade in / sale. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because his staff were very friendly and kind.

I was hesitant on posting this review, but unfortunately this certain situation keeps on happening and I am not going to stand for it anymore. Me and my partner frequently go to this shop whenever we are wondering the mall, and almost every time we have gone and shopped, we are almost ALWAYS being watched... it is very disturbing and disappointing seeing that it seems like they are profiling us. Things to note about us: my partner ALWAYS wears small fanny packs, and me, a purse that is closed at all times. We wear casual clothes, and yet, they continue to stare at us, and follow us around the store. Of course, we had NO INTENTIONS of stealing, and yet them watching us makes us feel like criminals. There should not be an excuse of the employees being "too shy" because this is inappropriate behavior, and again, makes me feel very uncomfortable, leading me to my next point. I will no longer shop here again. The amount of times we have caught employees literally WATCHING US is unacceptable, especially since I have previously worked retail myself, and am always frustrated with theft as well, but just choosing random people to watch without any actual ques or a real reason is just disgusting. There are things that you are trained to watch for when you work in retail, and it seems like there is a lack of that. It makes me sad because I loved your products and what you had to offer, but I am sorry, if I can't shop here without being watched like a hawk, then I can just take my business elsewhere. Please train your employees better and train them correctly on watching for theft in the right way. I hope no one else has to experience this. :(
