They wouldn't warranty the work because, "oh, that was the previous owner." I would only take an older vehicle here that you, not something you plan on keeping a long time. I feel they use less than quality (tubing) materials, which rust out fast, but will admit they are fast. Whatever they did lasted 2 or 3 years. Last muffler they put in, had a hanger built in, but they didn't attach to the frame. The extra weight then carried by other hangers and broke pre-mature. Just stopped in again and guess what, same guy still doing the shop work, but once again . . . the business has a new name. It's no longer ME. Not sure what the deal is here, but seems something weird. Doesn't feel right. They gave me a price *(which is now double the price of my last exhaust system) but it was just as high as the name brand places. That being the case, I'll go with the established Muffler outfit this time. They'll still be "Fluffy" if I need any warranty work. I only stopped by to see if I could save a hundred bucks or so.

Called them Winter of 2017 looking to have my SBC rebuilt. Told them what I was looking for, a strong street-able motor around 400hp. Got talked into buying a 406 they had on hand instead. Summer of 2017 engines goes in, takes more than twice as long as they said and cost more than was quoted but finally got it back. Performance was not at all what I expected but they convinced me to drive it the 500 mile when I called back and then bring it in. Over driving it the performance deteriorated. Tried troubleshooting it some myself but it just ran bad and got worse. Took it back twice, once towed and second time they basically told me it wasn't set up to have the kind of throttle response I was looking for and didn't have low end torque so I should look at putting lower gears in it to push it up into its power band. Left disappointed but willing to do this since it was part of my plans any way. Now I have done that (but all along the car runs bad, stumbles and hesitates) it is not any better. Very touchy at launch and from lower throttles. I find a wrong sized cam in the accelerator pump on carb when the pump fails and fixing that helps some. After months of messing with it and carb failing twice I take it to another performance shop and told the carb/intake/head/cam/distributor combo are awful mismatches and I should change all or at least all but cam. Basically having another engine built and then having this engine pulled this summer. Very disappointed by the whole experience. Total waste of my time and money. Have friends in Cleveland area, sending them other directions. Also the engine cost $3500 but they got another $3500 for install and add-ons so it was $7000 so it is dishonest to try and say I got a complete engine installed for 3500. The MSD was part of the engine but did not work for some reason when the motor was installed so they swapped it for HEI without asking me or telling me it would so drastically effect performance. They also did not tell me the included carb was a second hand holley 850 with mismatched parts that overcarb'ed the engine in addition to failing twice including once after they rebuilt it again.
