The issue was the build quality, considering the sofa would cost over 20,000 new. The frame wasn't solid wood and the leather felt cheap. So our search for a new couch begin. I stumbled into leather sofa co on a Saturday morning and was quickly greeted by Carl N. He was awesome from day 1. I gave him a run down of what we were looking for and he had some wonderful suggestions. Carl stayed patient with me over the 2 month period it took me to decide and kindly answered the 100s of questions I annoyed him with. He helped me choose the right size and quality of leather that would be durable and withstand my active German shepherd puppy archie! Our sofa arrived a few months ago and I couldn't be more impressed. The craftsmanship is evident from the minute it's unwrapped and the smell is incredible!!! Service from Michael at the Spring Valley location and Rita in Plano was fantastic. It's genuinely sad that employees like them will be losing their jobs. We shopped over Memorial Day weekend and found several great deals, though we also passed on a few items that didn't quite feel discounted enough yet. A quick check back just a few days later showed inventory is pretty thin. We're looking forward to enjoying our new furniture in our new home.

I have always loved Weirs and been a customer of those for all of my adult life (bought my first bedroom set from them at 18). Honestly, I have seen better sales while they were in full operation. It seems though the signs said discounts up to 30%, most of what I saw was only 10% off so it was hard to see the value in that. The service was good. It's sad to see good people losing their jobs. I did tell a few people who really demonstrated good service about the fact that the company I work for is hiring. There are still a lot of nice pieces left and several high end mattresses at a fair price, so if you are in the market it's probably worth the look!

I had called ahead and talked to someone about a particular couch I was interested in. The young man on the phone was super nice and helpful and professional. When we went into the store, everyone was wearing masks and they took temperature checks. While I didn't find anything that day, I ultimately came back for the dining table I had my eye on. Again, they were super friendly and helpful. I was able to make the purchase and set up a delivery for the next week (which I was so surprised since other stores seem to have so many delays due to Covid). The young woman helping me was very nice and helpful. They called and texted the day before delivery and I got a call 20 minutes prior to them arriving. Every single person I talked to on the phone was polite and personable (which I feel is a dying art these days). The delivery guys showed up on time and put everything together super fast. I definitely recommend them and I'll be buying more furniture from them soon.

Consumer beware: While Ronald was an excellent salesperson to help us find our couch, I have nothing positive to say about the rest of the experience. We were happy to find out our couch would be delivered early, however I would have accepted the original delivery date if it meant our *new* couch would come wrapped and protected at the very least. The mover dropped off the couch because "his boss wouldn't compensate him to bring it up stairs", leaving my boyfriend to figure out how to get the couch to our apartment. Doing so inflicted injury and upon inspection, because our *new* couch did not come even wrapped in plastic, I cannot tell whether it left the warehouse in disgusting and less than condition or from the negligence the second it left the warehouse. The condition of our "new" couch would now not even sell for $200 on FB marketplace. An $1100 couch is essentially trashed. I would never recommend this business moving forward and am regretful to to ever have. Ronald - You are kind and I genuinely hope you were not in the know of how this would be delivered. Emmett was patient with all my questions and demonstrated how the Lovesac furniture concept works. I was very impressed! I love that Lovesac covers can be laundered at home and be replaced if I decided to change the color and look! The furniture is like furniture Legos! Check out the PillowSac Accent Chair which can be reclined. So cool! The Home Theater system is also awesome. Why didn't I purchase immediately? I need to find a location closer to a port like Seattle, Portland or San Diego where I can ship to Hawaii. Lovesac offers shipping/delivery throughout the CONTINENTAL US only! I would need to coordinate shipping from a port to Hawaii. This requires more research. I have shipped vehicles from the 3 ports in the past so I know it can be done. I love our new sactional even more than I thought I would. 1st - there's no denying that it is…read moreexpensive - but it fit every single need we had and then some. We wanted a new couch for our den, which is a fairly large room, but finding a sectional that was small enough to fit comfortably in the room was virtually impossible! So first need - because the furniture is modular, we were able to buy exactly the right number of pieces to comfortably fit the space. Next - we have new kittens, who like to scratch on furniture and often hide under things. Second need - Lovesac had a lot of really nice fabrics in velvet to choose from, a type of fabric that is luxurious and feels great, but at the same time is not attractive to cat scratching. So far, so good. We went with a padded velvet and after 3 weeks, no scratching! It also has very low clearance underneath, so other than a few cat toys, nothing is getting under this couch to hide! Third need - we wanted a couch that would be comfortable to both sit on and lie on - since it often acts as a bed for one of us when we have a hard time sleeping. This couch is super comfortable - more than any other couch I have ever experienced! Plus, because the back cushions are loose, you can tilt them and get great back support if you want to lie down but not completely flat. Especially helpful if you're having acid reflux! Final need - wanted it to be easy to keep clean. I haven't had to wash any of the covers yet, but I imagine that will work out great as well. Downsides - besides the cost of course...putting the sactional together, while relatively easy, does take time and effort. Just getting all the pieces out of the packing boxes takes a while! But because each piece is relatively small and light, we were able to get it all upstairs to our den easily, and then put it all together once we got it there. And getting the covers on to the pieces (at least the first time) on the base and sides does take some strong tugging because they fit very closely, which is why they look good. But it's still a little hard to do! Final note - we had decided we wanted to buy in the middle of the pandemic - but the stores weren't open to go check them out. We didn't want to buy blindly, since we weren't sure which type of firmness we wanted, so we waited till we could get an in-store appointment, and we are so glad we did! They were having a sale, and we qualified for 15% off - but the very next day after placing the order, we got a postcard announcing a flash sale of 25%. Luckily when I called the store, Ryan assured me I would get a rebate of the additional discount.
