Went to a Sleep Expert and ordered a Tempur-Neck Pillow. When the salesperson told me the price I…read morewas shocked and he replied, they have no control over pricing as Tempur-Pedic never runs a sale. See #3 below for that being a lie. Mattress Firm is price gouging and not letting customers know that they could order on their own from Tempur-pedic themselves and save a bundle. 1. Order shipped to wrong address. Sleep Expert replaced, then delivered to wrong address (not your fault but the delivery company). Finally got it. Took a month. 2. Ordered a Small Profile and got a Firm Medium Profile. The salesman and I both agreed that I needed a small. He did all the ordering. 3. Paid $172 at Sleep Expert. On Tempur-pedic website it is $119 and get a 2nd pillow free on sale (regular price $129) 4. Pillow is like a brick and because it is a medium profile can't sleep on it. The salesperson and I agreed I needed a small profile when it was ordered. 5. Person at Sleep Expert said if I kept the box (which I did) I could bring it back for a refund or exchange. That Sleep Expert is now out of business. Went to the Mattress Firm down the street and before I could even say anything, the salesperson said "We don't take pillows back." He knew the story as he was formerly at the Sleep Expert where I bought the pillow from another salesman. I left the pillow there for him to dispose of and walked out. Why is it you can use a mattress for 120 days and ( think of all that goes on on a mattress vs a pillow) and return it. But not a pillow!!! Could they not have let me exchange for another pillow. Or for customer service relations could have offered to refund the difference in pricing from the Tempur-pedic pricing and their pricing. With Mattress Firm the customer is never right!

He delivered the mattress and box springs and also hauled away my old mattress for me. Then, nearly a month later, I decided the box spring was too tall for my bedframe. I called Crossroads and Tracy said, No problem! He delivered a bunkie board and hauled away the box spring again, free of charge. The whole process was so convenient and painless. You cannot get service like this anymore! So beyond happy with my experience at Crossroads and I will be directing everyone I know who needs a new mattress here from now on.

I had researched the "ads" and knew that Sleep Experts had a fitting program to tell what type of mattress a customer was suited to and that they had a sale going on. We walked into the store and one salesperson was present and we were the only ones in the store. I forget his name but he was experienced and was very friendly without being too pushy. He had us lay on the test mattress and then described the results and began showing us a number of mattresses that we may be interested in. He was very good at explaining the differences in each mattress and the pro's and con's of each. Also, any question we had he knew the answer. We settled on one of the upper end mattresses and purchased it. The salesperson scheduled the delivery and lo and behold a delivery was made on time as promised! Nice concept eh? We have had the mattress for about a week and I will say that for the first time in years I have been comfortable enough to remain asleep all night and when I do wake up I don't feel as though I need to get up to stretch and work out the stiffness. I purchased a twin mattress in 2010 with a 10 year warrantee. By 2012 it was sagging in the middle…read more I called they said they had to inspected it for a fee. I said that is not what I agreed to. There warrantee people were to call me. They never did. I took the mattress to store but they refused to look at it. I kept the mattress and wrote a complaint to yelp. I filed suit before the warrantee expired. The law firm filed frivolous motions and urged the judge to deny any extension of time to file a response. I had COVID and submitted a doctors affidavit. The court refused to hear the motion and gave the law firm a default judgement and awarded the $12000 in attorneys fees. I filed an appeal. The law firm agreed to drop the fees if I dismissed my appeal. I was still ill so I agreed. I am preparing a complaint with the Texas Bar on the law firm and a Judicial Complaint against the judge for violation of due process. In my research this is how Mattress Firm frequently handles the warrantee claims against them.

We purchased the Eric Church Highway to Home Gray living room set, including couch loveseat and recliner. After having the 1st set 4 months, Rooms to Go replaced all 3 pieces. On September 24th, 2022, due to the finish coming off the cushions. After having the 2nd set for only 7 weeks, the same thing happened again. I sent an email to the VP of Customer Care and got no response. We are expecting a Rooms to Go technician to come out to the house next week. Rooms to Go will most likely need to change this out for yet a 3rd set. We are not expecting the 3rd set to be any better. This is the most expensive furniture set that Rooms to Go sells. One would expect higher quality.

So I stopped here after an appointment just wanted to see if I could find something to where for my Birthday celebration this weekend. As I'm looking at some items near the fitting room. I continuously hear this young female speak very sweetly to all the other ladies entering (Spanish, White, anyone but my race). I walk towards the her um just waiting till she turned around and noticed me. Of course I was also in turn waiting for her to give me a warm Hello there, How are you? I should've known she wouldn't show me that much hospitality. She never really looked at but asked, Do you want to try something own? I politely took a breath and said, Hello, How are you? She looked with embarrassed. Then she spoke, counted the pieces I had in my hand, gave me a number and I went in the open fitting area. As I was trying on my pieces, I'm listing at her bubbly "Hello, How are you, Did everything work out for you etc? I thought it was very funny honestly. I'll never look to spend my coins in an area where folk still act as if they're the ONLY race that should be able to shop or dine in establishments.
