I re-activated my Yelp account in hopes anyone looking for furniture does not make the mistake I did by going to this business. Consumer beware: While Ronald was an excellent salesperson to help us find our couch, I have nothing positive to say about the rest of the experience. We were happy to find out our couch would be delivered early, however I would have accepted the original delivery date if it meant our *new* couch would come wrapped and protected at the very least. The mover dropped off the couch because "his boss wouldn't compensate him to bring it up stairs", leaving my boyfriend to figure out how to get the couch to our apartment. Doing so inflicted injury and upon inspection, because our *new* couch did not come even wrapped in plastic, I cannot tell whether it left the warehouse in disgusting and less than condition or from the negligence the second it left the warehouse. The condition of our "new" couch would now not even sell for $200 on FB marketplace. An $1100 couch is essentially trashed. I would never recommend this business moving forward and am regretful to to ever have. Ronald - You are kind and I genuinely hope you were not in the know of how this would be delivered. If so, shame on you. Otherwise, I hope you become a valued employee at a company that matches your service. We did not purchase an "as-is" showroom couch. We purchased a NEW couch. read more

I heard about this place from my cousin who referred me to the store manager named Kurt. This is a mom and pop local business and there is just something about supporting local businesses instead of large corporations. Anyways, I walked in 3 years ago and needed to fully furnish my empty apartment since I had nothing; not even a bed at my new place since I relocated for work from the northeast. I met with Kurt and he showed me different beds and mattresses they had. They gave me discounts and I ended up buying a foam mattress with a bed for $1200 (delivery fee is $60; they deliver and set up the furniture). A month later I went back and ordered a TV stand, coffee table and two end tables; all for $800. Then a couple months later I went back and ordered a large love seat for $300; all with a discount and working with Kurt. I actually ordered all the furniture from a catalog since they have contracts with different furniture companies such as Ashley's Furniture in the area so I put a lot of faith in Kurt and what he was telling me about the furniture because he's seen them. First off; my bed and mattress are AMAZING. It's been 3 years and it still feels 100% brand new and the foam mattress is the best bed I've ever had. I can honestly say I've been getting the best sleep I've had since I was in my mom's womb. My TV stand, coffee table and end tables are all modern and white to match each other. Their employees (a father/son delivery team) carried everything and set it up for me; I didn't do a thing! What I really like about the employees here is that they are honest. They tell and show you exactly what the price of the furniture you want cost at retail stores then they tell you what they'll charge you with a discount that they'll give you. The downfall of this place is the return policy and the numerous catalogs. Read the fine print CAREFULLY and know what you're getting yourself into because they don't have a good return policy. Also since the store is small, you can't physically see a lot of the furniture they have which is at their warehouse; hence the catalogs. It's just like ordering off Amazon; you truly never know what you are going to get. If you can, visit their Terrell location since that's the biggest store and they have more floor space. Overall I can't tell you how pleased I am with my furniture first and foremost, with their staff and their honestly and integrity. They have a customer in me for life because they have exceeded my expectations with their kindness and thoughtfulness because they actually care about their customers needs. I had been referred to this store by a co worker so I went there sight unseen. I walked in and was a little unsure if I would make a purchase based on what I saw. However, it is best never to judge a book by its cover. I described to the sales members what I wanted. We walked in the floor. They asked more probing questions which led us to a ton of books. We looked and looked and looked until I found what I fell in love with. They are patient, give solid advice, and are very professional to work with. The delivery team is phenomenal. They show up on time, are well prepared and work expeditiously to have the furniture installed. I would strongly recommend that you check this place out. I have asked to speak with the owner multiple times, but he is not available. All they do is reference that on my receipt it clearly says that I cannot get a full refund as they cannot handle delays, but is there a reasonable limit for this? I can't express enough how grateful I am to have found this hidden gem in Dallas. I had been looking for furniture for over six months and I had no idea what I wanted. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, Brian Hogan and he not only gave me a great price, but he also helped me select everything for my new home. We had to wait a long time for our furniture to be ready. It looked like they had given us the showroom floor piece because it had damage. When we called them immediately to tell them, they told us we should have wrote it on the slip. The warranty company will not come out and repair our phone plug that was built into the furniture that is NO LONGER working. We hadn't had the furniture a month when it broke. We paid the extra $500 for the warranty. Waste of money for sure. So disappointed. read more

At this moment, the only reason I can give 2 stars is because of the sales person Wal---. He was very respectful, understood our unique needs, did not try to sell me something I did not need and made the entire process smooth. However.......it's almost bedtime and I am still without furniture hours after the promised delivery time and now my handicapped wife has no place to sit comfortable since the old sofa was removed at the last minute in expectations of an on time delivery (or even a phone call for that matter). I'm not saying don't buy here but pick up your own furniture. Obviously the consideration I received in the store does not flow through Furniture One's entire system. I wont be back there. Do NOT buy from here! As you can see, I purchased my furniture from this store with a promised delivery date of 3/4 at the latest. This was a popular set from Ashley - no problem. I get that. I can wait 1.5 weeks, even though it's some how in stock at dfwfurniture.com and other stores. We were promised to receive a call by Sunday that delivery would happen. Sunday passes - no call. For 3 days in a row (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) I am told the manager would call that day and never did. I am told by the salesman ONLY the manager can verify/expedite. Here's the kicker - the manager is the owner and he shows up based on a whim. So you are at the mercy of the owner's schedule. Finally the delivery company calls Wednesday at 4:30pm and says they can deliver on Saturday from 3-7pm. What?! That's 5 days late on top of the 1.5 weeks. No discount or apology from the manager or salesman. We have a housewarming party on Friday that we will have no bedroom set for. Once they have your money, they are done with you and couldn't care less about their delivery dates or customer relations. Given the chance again, I would pay the extra $40 for a reputable company. read more

We went to Furniture One today on a whim because we have been looking for a small couch. The store is full of great bargains on really nice furniture. The salesman was very nice. He got us approved on the spot and we walked out of the store as proud owners of a great looking sectional sofa and a beautiful area rug. They don't sell crap furniture either. Most of it is Ashley furniture that is really reasonably priced. We definitely plan to go back when we are ready for a bedroom suite. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but trust me, you need to check them out if you are in the market for new living room furniture or bedroom furniture. Also, if they don't have it there, you can look through a catalog and have it ordered. This is a really nice place to buy furniture. They also offer 90 days same as cash. If i could give this location i would. This place gives you the run around. When Kurt was there the customer service was perfect and the person now has no customer service skills at all. I purchased 2 pieces of furniture from this location. The first on the threads were coming undone after not even a year. The chair after 2 months already is broke. They say they dont take returns but i bought a end table that was broke missing a piece of glass. The agreement a restocking fee but they dont take anything back go figure read more

wish they had the option to click no stars cause i wasnt pleased here not one bit! Yes they are nice to you! they will sweet talk you till you the day you get your furniture!. After that they made a sale and your no longer relevant. I bought a bedroom set and sofas. The set was delivered damaged the delivery guy said to call and it will get raplaced i called multiple times and kept getting the run around. After 2 months i gave up and within that time cracks appeared here and their ugh. Sofas were in good condition but the ottoman was sent a different color brown not BLACK! so called that in aswell after multiple calls we finally got told it was their and to pick it up. They loaded it,just to find out getting home it was the same brown one! WTF!?!?! i didnt bother it was gonna be a waste of time and get nothing in return.
