These people are a joke. I found this place through fb marketplace and tried to buy a mattress from them because I needed something asap. None of their posts list business name or location but it's obviously some kind of store based on pictures. Apparently have to make an appointment to buy anything. I contacted them twice to try to buy a mattress and they were difficult about scheduling quickly and I needed something to put in a rental ASAP so I found something else then they got rude and said I wasted their time and blocked me. If you want to sell mattresses you should make it easier for people who are trying to buy. There's dozens of places to buy a mattresses that aren't run like a drug dealer out of a random warehouse. read more

The Salesman was helpful. He was upfront about what would work best for us, which actually lessened how much we spent, so I felt he was more interested in looking out for us then increasing profit. Got exactly what we were looking for and it was a lot less then the furniture stores we went to. We went during the Corona Virus scare and they had already enacted 'by appointment only' 1 customer at a time and all customers had to wear a mask. Waived a fee because we were paying upfront and delivery was also cheaper then furniture stores. We plan on getting a headboard/frame set eventually but they had higher quality metal frames then I've seen anywhere else so we can now hold off on a bed set until we can afford higher quality. Highly recommend. They have some type of 90 day financing that seemed honest, we would've gone that route if we had known before we arrived. read more

Excellent customer service. Very affordable prices that are 60-80% off of retail price. You also get the manufacturers warranty of 10 years. Ryan sold us our matteress. He was attentive, answered all our questions, but gave us time and space to discuss the options. No pressure of buying a matteress, but there is no way you're walking out without a purchase after seeing the prices. It is by appointment only, but just give them a call and tell them when you'd like to come by. They work within your budget and your wants. I ended up paying $400 less than my budget and got exactly what I wanted--and it included delivery, box spring, and metal frame. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE with UNBEATABLE PRICES. 04/23 I am writing this review to bring to your attention that I am not satisfied with the quality of service provided at BoxDrop Salem. I am talking about the services rendered Wednesday April 22, 2020 and want to let you know I was very upset with your staff's performance and behavior. The level of disrespect and bad behavior was far too much. Staff did not show interest or behaved in a cordial way when interacting with customers. The moment we approached the business site, a staff member approached us and was already showing signs of frustration towards us for no reason. We were there to purchase a much-needed mattress for our family and asked to see the options in stock. We decided on a specific mattress and informed the staff we would take the selected one, we did not know we would be stuck with the display one. We asked if this is the only option and his response was "Look at the date, is there something wrong with it?" along with that snarky remark, his tone and body language was inappropriate. When it came to purchase the mattress, we elected to pay in cash and asked for a receipt. Staff member/owner stated, "why do you need a receipt, you're paying in cash, not needed." We insisted in asking for a receipt for our sake. Staff/owner seemed irritated that he need to provide us with a receipt, something so simple yet inconvenient for him. We even elected to pay for the $20 service fee that included the staff member loading your mattress into your car. That did not happen; staff did not load the mattress into our car even after asking him to do so. His response "Figure it out." At this point one would walk out and not pay for anything but in that moment one is in shock and disbelief that this is occurring. Will never shop at this business ever again, I will make sure this review is in the appropriate platforms to warn potential customers of this bad experience/service. read more

Less than 1 week we have the bed of our dreams...at less than 50% of what the "big box" national retailers were trying to charge us! We have been wanting a split king, adjustable base bed with new memory foam mattresses. Our current memory foam mattress was 10 years old and being one of the first memory foam models to market, and it's age..just didn't have the support and comfort we needed. We did our research online and by spending some time going to the national retailers: Mattress Firm, Macy's, Sleep Number, Mor furniture and several other local retailers. We educated ourselves starting by reading the online reviews and other user experience for memory foam vs hybrid mattresses so we knew what we wanted: A memory foam with gel, medium to firm, with a plush top. We also found there are many upgrades now available which became important to us: a copper infused and bacteriostatic, a airflow layer to keep us cooler. Next, we went and tried out the various mattress types on and off adjustable bed bases to determine what firmness and what features really made a difference. We determined that warranty of 10+ years of the mattress and the bases, along with the quietness of the bases were most important to us. The bases range from basic "wire and pipe" style, basically think of a old style metal bed frame, that can raise up/down--gets the job done but NOT supportive of the mattresses and every single one we tried was so noisy it would surely wake the other up when used...not to mention probably wake the dogs in the neighborhood too! to super complex with heat, massage, wall hugging, mood/floor lights, presets, zero gravity setting, USB ports--practically anything except a cappuccino maker (*Im certain some brand is working on that feature!) We decided we would like a furniture style base, which is much more attractive and supportive of the mattress than cheap wire bases, and wanted presets with head and foot adjustment capability as out minimal requirements. After the above, we finally searched for local, independent stores because we have a commitment to support our local mall business retailers whenever possible. That is what lead us to BoxDrop Salem and Brian. We called Brian at 10am on Saturday and he made us an appointment for the same day noon to meet at the warehouse. We arrived and met Brian and were instantly at ease because of his warmth and welcoming nature. Still, we had been the rounds at the major retailers and were a bit skeptical of getting what we wanted in a price range we could afford. Once inside the warehouse, I was pleased to see the available floor models and bases ready to try out and new mattresses ready to buy were covered in their original wrappings, the place was large, no frills BUT CLEAN and OPEN so you could see EXACTLY what was available and try everything out. NOTHING HIDDEN. Brian started by asking us what we wanted and he LISTENED...he did not interrupt us during our recitation of our wish list...then he asked some clarifying questions. He DID NOT start off by asking about how much we wanted to spend..which I felt was respectful and smart. He pointed out the floor models which had memory foam, not hybrid or coil/conventional, and those with various thickness, firmness and cooling gels. We tried about 5 different models and decided between 2---one was 12 inches and the other 14inches. Brian provided information on the composition and other customer feedback including if any of the models ended up being returned because people didn't like them or defect issues. He gave use enough information we were able to confidently decide on the 12 inch copper infused model. Next, Brian encouraged us to try out the various adjustable bases. Because of our prior research, I knew the heat and massage features were unnecessary as you really cannot feel the heat well, plus it would make the mattress too warm and the massage is basically a more modern version of "magic fingers" where the bed gets vibrated but does not provider any real therapeutic value. We decided on a furniture style base which had presets, light, adjustable legs with 3 levels, articulating feet and head. It was at this point, when we decided on the mattresses (we wanted a split king so would need two twin bases and two twin xl mattresses) and the bases that Brian gave us a quote with delivery and set up. Thinking the price could not possibly be real, I asked for it in writing AND "Is that for BOTH mattresses and BOTH bases?" (I though the price he quoted was for a SINGLE mattress and base which would of course have to be doubled to get the split king--this bad experience actually happened to us at TWO of the national dealers). Brian gave us the quote for TWO TWIN XL and TWO adjustable bases, delivered and set up for $2150.....the same set of mattresses and bases were quoted, ON SALE (Labor Day) from $4897 to $7842!!! We saved OVER 50% by doing our research and working with Brian and BoxDrop Salem. LOVE this PLACE! read more

The prices are amazing but the customer service is better!!! I have never had more fun shopping!! I got a queen mattress and a twin set for cheaper than I would have anywhere else for just 1 mattress. My son (who is a very picky 2 year old) made himself right at home and made a good friend with the salesman Brian. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mattress!!! read more
