It is usually bad reviews people like to enjoy writing however instead of spending the 7 bad experiences we had prior to MIKE C...we would like to focus on service excellence. As soon as we walked into the facility we were greeted by a friendly face, great smile, well dressed, take pride in my job gentleman. He was not overly aggressive or pushy (more observant on body language) allowing space to get accustomed to the large selection of inventory. As he begin to hear us talk he interacted with us as if he knew us very well. His demeanor calm, professional, more of your wellness and what is right for YOUR body TYPE EDUCATOR informed us on how to be selective in our decision. We came in looking for a typical old style flip mattress and found out the benefits of having edema (swelling) they have beds that have adjustable bases. Along with a firming but resting mattress that fits all needs! The benefits of fighting the aches and pains in a WOW factor! Mike C really knows his products, but even more he wants to help you get a lifelong healthy rest. He really stepped it up in creative market building. Bottom line here folks: I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with the GREAT customer service and they REALLY do care! They really do care about making sure I was happy with my purchase between the emails to Sherri and the all the other people involved in helping me get my mattress replaced.... well I felt like I was royalty and really treated so well!!! I saw an ad on tv about they guarantee satisfaction. I wrote to Sherri... told her I was not happy as the middle of the bed you could feel a bump and could not sleep in middle and dip in mattress even tho I rotated it monthly. I got an email back wanting more info with invoice number or tag info on bed. I wrote with the info, and within a week had a call from the store..they would come out and look at mattress about my complaints as my bed had a 10 yr warrenty. they came out... measured bed dips and said this mattress was faulty for sure and they would replace it !!! They had me go to the Salem store and try out some beds. The salesman there was sooo nice and helpful and made sure I tried a few beds. He could tell from me laying on the firm and extra firm bed which one looked like it worked best for my back based on my laying there. He was very helpful. I'm updating my review of Mattress World Salem to correct one name and offer further information on my dealings with this business. First, let me correct the sales persons name which I inadvertently mixed up with someone else in my life, sorry Shelly. The lady who sold us the bed was Shelly! She was super helpful and a joy to deal with. Second, I'm still unhappy with the delivery and assembly but just this afternoon I received a call from the store manager who bent over backwards to make things right for us. He offered to send out someone to correct the assembly mistakes but I informed him that I had already done the do-it-yourself repair and there was nothing left to correct. He apologized for the my inconvenience, told me that the 3rd part delivery service they used that day had been terminated. Then he went the extra mile and offered to send me a gift card in the mail to for my trouble. I now have a much better feeling about Mattress World and can recommend them to my friends. I understand that stuff happens now and then, but it takes a quality company to own-up to the mistakes, correct them and apologize. read more

We recently purchased a new bed from Mattress World and had a lovely experience! The sales associate, Debbie, made this purchase a pleasure! She was kind and knowledgeable and didn't treat us like we were just a "sale", as every other furniture/mattress store did. We spent quite a bit of time in the store, asking many questions to help decide on the perfect new bed for us and she went above and beyond to assist in finding the right bed for out needs. Our new bed was delivered in a very timely manner (other places told us we'd be waiting 7-14 days for delivery, Matress World has our new bed set up in our bedroom in less than 48 hours!). We are incredibly happy with our new bed - we went with a split king adjustable bed which we HIGHLY recommend! The whole process from beginning to end was a very positive experience for us. Had such an amazing experience with jimmy, it was our first time getting a mattress. I liked soft and my partner liked firm. Jimmy had us try many beds that might fit what we liked and he knew exactly what we needed after a couple comments! He worked with our budget and helped us lower our payment to what we wanted instead of get us trapped into a high payment we didn't want a month.
