I called Assia ahead of time to inquire if there would be any flower substitution with the "nude chic" arrangement because I have not had the best experiences with online flower deliveries looking like the picture I order from. She assured me she had everything in stock and I requested to change the purple orchids because they didn't match. The next hitch is that the delivery had to go to a sorority house at USC and I was very concerned because sometimes the girls don't answer the front door and it's not the best area to have a delivery left at the door. Boxed Flowers & Sweets executed this delivery with precision. The delivery arrived at the time requested and the delivery guy was able to reach someone to answer the door, and even took the name of the girl that received the flowers. The boxed display was over the top! WOW! I have never heard my daughter's voice so extremely happy and appreciative. All of the sorority girls were marveling at how gorgeous her flowers were, and even sending pictures to their moms. My daughter was so touched by their beauty & perfection. No wilty edges, pure fresh beauty. My daughter said the display was so big that it went from her hip all the way up and she really appreciated how massive this display was. I'm so incredibly happy and will definitely be ordering from here again. I would love Assia to add a few more boxed displays on the order page for us to choose from her creations for ease. They are stunning, and I would love to see what she puts together to place another order. I shopped around a lot on Bloomnation.com before picking these and I felt they were one of the most competitively priced for the size of the arrangement. I highly recommend this shop if you want to make somebody's day and make jaws drop. Know that you can count on the order to arrive flawlessly. Thank you Assia and team.

Moldy flowers... Gross!!! Super disappointing. Received these flowers for my birthday and they began to have significant visible mold in a few days. These flowers came in a display box. I took them out of the display in 4 days and on the 6th day my boyfriend told me to throw them out because there was mold on them. Needless to say I wanted to correct him because I never heard of anything like that but lo and behold when I walked up to them I was in shock. There was mold EVERYWHERE. Absolutely unsavable and totally unsanitary. My friend that purchased these for me contacted the business several times with no response. I finally sent an email letting them know about the situation again and they pretty much told me that there was nothing they could do. The conversation I had with them via email is in the pictures below. I understand everyone's having a hard time through covid but this is as unprofessional as It gets. Not only were they unwilling to help at all, they never gave any directions on care for their flowers. Imagine going to a doctor that gives you medicine and there's no description on how to or what to take the medicine with and when you get sick they pretty much say oh well. Has anyone else ever had their flowers mold on them?? Definitely first I've ever heard of.

Cement vase arrangement being advertised.

I rarely order flowers from anywhere but JLF. Only because I know what I pay is what I'll receive. I believe as customers we all want consistency. My aunt received flowers from my sister on her birthday. I loved the color combo and the vase so I asked where she purchased them from and she said Boxed flowers in Burbank. When I found out she paid $240 I was shocked. The florist looks talented with beautiful flowers to show.... This review is not to insult the business owner in any way. But just to shed some light on the floral industry and how it can be unnecessarily expensive. Just a tip for future buyers: tell the florist you don't want your roses opened up wide. Florists use this technique where they open the roses so that the arrangement can look fuller. This lessens the amount of flowers they need to use and the flowers end up having a shorter life. For this arrangement the website shows 65 roses. I understand substitutions can be made. For example, in this order the vase is not the exact one and that stuff is understandable. That doesn't warrant a complain. I took the honor of writing this review, because I know my sister just wouldn't. But I don't think it's fair to pay for 65 roses and get like 3 dozen instead, just because the vase looks "full"- especially at a family gathering where everyone wants to know where each flower came from and the price. I would never say this looks like a $240 arrangement. Even though my sister requested a different color flower does that necessarily mean to make the flowers less? If that's the case, then the business should communicate that with the customer. Regardless, I decided to share my review. (The dusty pink with gray and Squarish box is what she got. The item advertised is the rounded cement with the white flowers. )

It is my sister's 60th birthday today, it is her first birthday without our younger sister, who passed away suddenly a few months ago. So, with the Hope of making her birthday a little better, I shopped for some flowers to be delivered to her online. Not certain if the flowers would be delivered on time, I placed the order with Boxed Flowers & Sweets last night. I must say, I am extremely happy that not only the flowers were packed beautifully, it was hand delivered with no problems this morning. The delivery man rang door bell twice, no answers, so he proceeded to leave a text message to my sister letting her know she had a flower delivery at her front door. What a service, delivery man did not just leave the flower and left when no one answered the door. A big THANK YOU to Boxed Flowers & Sweets for putting a smile on my sister's face on her special day.

The flowers are always fresh and very beautifully collected. I only order from them. Thank you so much!

Wow! What an absolute show stopper this arrangement is. I purchased these for my newly married cousin and her husband and they said it was the most beautiful arrangement they have ever received. It's lush, full and simply perfect all the way around. Amy assisted me and took the time to understand my wants for this and I couldn't be any happier. She was friendly, patient, and communicated well. Delivery was quick and overall experience was exceptional. I highly reccomend!

I paid $140 for medium box of roses delivered to Venice on Valentine's. They charged me extra for delivery even though their website says free delivery. I also got a lot of attitude when I wanted to know the time of delivery. The roses came in a pink box even though It was very clear that I wanted a white box. They never sent me a picture before the delivery. They also didn't put the roses 360 degrees around the box, they glued the cover on top so they could save on roses. They also told me it would be pure roses but there were multiple types of flowers. I was also told 40+ roses but there were only around 15 roses. These weren't worth the price and when I messaged the lady about the flowers not being right I didn't get a response. read more

What an amazing arrangement! I wanted something special and unique for my Mom's 87th birthday. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and said they could deliver on a Sunday! I was looking all over for a florist who would do this and was unable to until I found this company. She asked me what I had in mind, It turned out beautifully. Their "small" is actually a really nice size, larger and more elaborate than I expected. The round box was perfect, the overall look very elegant. My Mom was delighted, so was my Dad. Thank you so so much for this beautiful creation. What I really love about these arrangements is slightly ironic: they step outside of the box. You can really tell that she puts thought and detail into every aspect of the arrangements, from the pearl placement to the accented glitter the mixed flower variety dispersed in between the roses. Such an awesome business. The way they conduct their work, take care of customers, and stick to their word is absolutely fantastic! I needed an arrangement done for my girlfriends 21st birthday and told them what I was looking for and they completely transformed my vision into reality! What a great operation they have here! I wanted to surprise my fiancée with something special before her bridal shower and came across this company on Yelp. From the very first text I could tell that Assia was ready to create what I had imagined. She customized a Chanel box for me to match the theme of my fiancee's bridal shower and even made the perfect arrangement as I requested. The cherry on top was her ability to get the flowers delivered exactly where I needed them at the exact time. I don't even know how she handled the logistics of that. Amazing. They are very customer service driven and anyone thinking of going with them can rest assure that you will get what they promise you at a very fair price. I sent an email which wasn't replied to; however, the next day I sent a text message to the contact number available and received a timely response (just a heads up via phone/text seems to be the better method). I was super cautious of the time zone difference making sure I contacted them within their listed business hours since I live in Maryland. I had a very dear family member relocate to LA a year ago and wanted to send her something special for her birthday. I referred to one of their arrangements with initials located on their instagram profile and it was a hit! Last minute on Sunday I ordered a box of flowers for my mother in law and oh man they were sooooo beautiful. It was even better than what I expected. The young lady that answered the phone was very helpful and patient with me I wasnt sure what I wanted to write or what type of flowers I wanted order. I'm from NorCal and needed flowers to be delivered in Burbank and this service was fantastic! While shopping around I was astounded at how high flower delivery prices are in general down there BUT the flower box I ordered was very, very reasonable. All I said was a "spring colored flower box around $40" and she nailed it. Couldn't be happier, customer service was fantastic. She even included my custom delivery message. Would highly recommend! read more

My boyfriend ordered a gorgeous boxed flowers for my birthday from here and his mom thought they were amazing. So we decided to get her a boxed flowers for her birthday tommorow. Very last minute but we are so glad that they are very flexible and easy to work with. They deliver too!! I will never ever ever order from this place again! They are very unprofessional, and have the worst customer service ever! A seek beforeMothers Day, i saw on their Instagram page they had a cute box with flowers that spells out 'MOM' and i decided to message her to order two of them, one for my mom and one for my mother-in-law. Lets begin with that her customer service which was nonexistent, she would reply every few hours or not at all until i would message her a few more times. When she does message me I have the impression that my order is placed and i asked her few questions about the colors and all, and she mentioned that she only had off-white boxes. So i tell her okay lets do that. Again no answer whatsoever. So i call her and she confirmed that the boxed i wanted were available, so I proceeded to tell her I want two of them. She sends me the address for pick up. Then, comes mothers day, i go to pick up my flowers and she tells me that she doesnt have the boxes, she doesnt have the flowers for me; ON MOTHERS DAY! It was ridiculous. Oh and she even told me she texted me last night , which is a total lie, as i never got her text. Too sum it up, i will never go there again. Spare your nerves and go somewhere else. So disrespectful. So unprofessional. And a lack of customer service skills. read more

My honey and I came in to purchase a boutonniere for his 50th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

I wanted flowers deliver to my girlfriends house and I was calling flower shops and delivery places for hours till I found boxed flowers and sweets, I decided to give them a call. Assia picked up the phone was extremely nice and patient with me. I told her what I wanted to do and within 10 min she knew exactly what I wanted and was processing my order over the phone. She had the flowers I wanted delivered to the address I wanted and she even did more than I expected. I'm writing this review because I'm amazed at the customer service I received, the fair pricing and the fact that I wanted something that no one else would help me with and she did it in a matter of hours. I wanted flowers delivered to my girlfriends house at midnight for her birthday and while other flower companies and delivery services refused to give me service Assia when out of her way even tho she didn't have a delivery guy at that hour and got the flowers delivered right on time.
