A fantastic evening team building with my community! I was finally able to compete in the battle…read morerooms! Each classic game was great to play and made me feel like I was on the real show! The pressure kicks in so that adds to the fun. I went with my fellow Yelp elite members so we had a large group so we played two rounds and ensured everyone got a a turn in 2 hours. The time really flies so enjoy every minute! A tip would be to come up with your best family friendly nickname so the MCs can call you to the stage! The two MCs were so welcoming and supportive of all of our members. They even made a few modifications for us who needed to be seated versus standing. That is a huge plus for mobility accessibility. The game room is not too noisy and all the words or numbers were large on the screen too for those with auditory concerns. The venue was very accessible and the restroom was gender neutral but I did not see a changing table to maybe leave the little littles at home. There is a room to set up banquet tables if you host a party to eat. They also sell juice, tea, lemonade, beer, seltzer, soda, and wines!

This was very fun!!! I went here with my group from work as a team outing and man did we have a…read moreball. I love the way that is set up and how they gather everyone to get started. We loved all of the games literally. There was not one game that we didn't have fun in. I do feel like it was very competitive as it should be and I love that. They offered drinks as well. The hosts were both amazing and they were literally made to do that job. I can't wait to try it again with my family and friends!

This was my family's first escape room and we jumped right in to the hardest one- The Haunting. We…read morewere a group of 5 (college age son and 3 teenagers-17, 16 and 14). We had so much fun! I probably should rate with 5 stars but since I don't have anything else to compare to I decided on 4 stars. Everything was explained to us (even how to unlock the varied types of locks). There were scares, noises and frightful distractions! This was great family bonding for us to all work together and even tho we didn't finish - we had a few more puzzles to solve but not bad for our first time. We can't wait to try another escape room! We plan on making another trip in the fall and bringing a few of our friends. Definitely recommend!!

Very excited for this Escape Room in Carbondale! I've done over 30 escape rooms, and I have to say…read moreJeff (the owner) adds a lot of charm to his rooms and is very clearly excited about what he does. It is a reasonable price per person, and you reserve your room online. When you arrive, you fill out a waiver, and Jeff will go through the story premise with you himself. Then you and your group will have 60 minutes to escape the room's puzzles! (although note the room is not actually locked, so one can enter/exit whenever, you just won't "win" until you figure out the last puzzle). I thought the room we did (Egypt) had a good balance of task completions, puzzles, and technology. There is a timer in the room and cameras for monitoring. You are also given a walkie-talkie in the event you need a hint (although each hint costs you your points! but the points don't really matter in the end). I look forward to see what else the Panic Room has in store for Carbondale and think the seasonal rooms are a great idea.

This place is SO COOL. We live literally a mile from here and it had been on my list for awhile. We…read morethrew a little bachelor party day for my brother and his partner, and we started here with the Save the Queen escape room. About half of us had done an escape room before, so we could compare differences to how Adventures of Intrigue worked. Here's the feedback: Adventures of Intrigue is really great for those that want to do an escape room without the heavy pressure/competition. Which for my family, is very fitting. It's also a WAY better option for kiddos, and seemed like some of the options were catered to kids, which is awesome. Our only complaint is we would have loved one that was really hard. The Save the Queen was rated as pretty difficult, and it still seemed pretty easy for those of us who do puzzles regularly! I don't want to compete, but I do want to be challenged. With that, the way they set things up was SO FUN and unique. Whoever thought of this has such a cool imagination. We loved searching around and finding all the little details. They did a fantastic job with setting the building up, I can't wait to see what else they add. After our escape room, we did an hour in the live video game room. They had cameras tracking our activity so we could pay games physically. Holy moly this place is COOL. Another unique concept that was a freaking blast. The workers were all so kind and fun, and really seem like they love their jobs. Such a cool spot for adults or kids alike. Highly recommend to everyone.

They also have a small café area where you can get drinks and snacks during or before your adventure. Our expert librarian, Jack was very helpful and entertaining, helping us along our journey that day. It's a very creative spin on escape rooms. There were groups of children doing adventures as well, so it seems like it's good fun for all ages. I love that you can go through the adventures at your own pace and don't have a time limit. I also like that we were able to do an adventure where we battled in teams within our group. I think that was really exciting in a good spin! I enjoyed my visit and look forward to doing more adventures in the future!
