    Kids class at 4:30 Mon-Fri
    Kirsten S.

The East Side Boxing inc gym has been instrumental in my weight loss and health journey. I've accomplished loosing 70lbs in a year and plan on continuing to my goal of loosing 40 more here. The staff are amazing, kind and knowledgeable, the classes are expertly led, and the atmosphere is inspiring. I highly recommend checking out the kids classes at 4:30p mon-Fri and the adult boxing classes Mon-thurs at 5:30p. I had no prior boxing experience before coming here but now I feel empowered and confident in my skills. Whether you're just starting on your fitness goals or you want a challenge on your existing ones this is the place to be!

Even with COVID is among us, the leadership and coaches are here willing to teach us risking themselves and their families everyday. All the coaches are amazing and take the time to talk to you and teach you the techniques the right way. I took my free class that they offer and fell in love with it. If you're looking for a great stress reliever and don't believe in taking you anger out on human beings...this is a great way to vent it out! They keep me moving constantly and don't give up on you. I'd highly recommend coming here and signing up! As an added bonus, you get a friendly smile and greeting every time you scan your I'd when first entering the door. V/R - Oz

My daughter has been taking boxing classes at Boxing Inc East for about 3 months now and she loves it. Would like to give a shout out to Manny. Manny is a great coach, not just for kids but for adults as well. He is a great encourager for kids and motivator for the adults. All the staff at this location are phenomenal. Would highly recommend this place if your looking to get in shape.

Feeling fat and slow from a day of travel as I mustered my will to hit the hotel's 'fitness room', I was severely disappointed by a skinny lame A$$ room at the Hilton. But what do I see out their giant front window?! A Huge Yellow 'BOXING' sign. A beacon of hope, fitness, and a break from the mundane hotel workouts. I called over to the gym and asked if I could pay for a drop-in. "No Problem! Come on over". They hooked me up! The drop-in fee was beyond reasonable, and they sold me a nice set of wraps for basically market price. Now, I have been training off and on for over 10 years. I can spot a good gym, and this one! They have Ring, an MMA Cage, and a huge space for working out. Their equipment is decent shape. It's worn, but there isn't a piece of duct-tape to be seen. Multiple size, and types of bag, a weight area, and just about anything a fighter is looking for to train. I hit this gym both days of my stay in the area. While I didn't take any classes, (I ran my own workout) I did get to witness two classes while I was there. First was a kids class. This was AWESOME! Lots of boys and girls of all ages wrapping their hands and learning the fundamentals. While there was a bit of chaos, they all seemed be having fun, and getting a good workout. The instructor did a good job of wrangling the kids. The second class I saw was a private. Two women were taking what looked like a Grappling class with one of the instructors. This was some serious, lock and hold training that looked legit. I'm not a local, and only went twice. . But if I was in the area, I'd be a member.

Love Boxing Inc East! 60lbs down!

This welcoming environment, however, is in spite of, not because of, its owner, who uses his brand's social media account to mock people for, among other things, having pronouns in their bio, and when confronted on this, will delete comments critical of those actions. https://www.instagram.com/p/DYfR3r9yPIv/ As such, it becomes difficult to recommend Tucson Strength as a welcoming place if you are someone who expects to have your gender identity respected, as the owner believes "pronouns are a social construct" that he "does not buy into" and that "there are [only] two genders" He is obviously welcome to these opinions, in the same way I am welcome to take my business elsewhere, while letting others know they may not feel welcome in this space. It is truly disappointing that the owner of a gym with a "Don't be an asshole" sign cannot live up to that most basic of principles. All of that said, I cannot in good conscience give a review less than three stars, as at the end of the day it has the makings of a potentially fantastic gym that's *actually* a welcoming place for *anyone*, and I have incredibly fond memories of my time there. It was with great disappointment that I canceled my membership, but I simply no longer felt welcome at a place owned by an online bully, who claims everyone is welcome in his space, while at the same time using his public business account to hunt down and mock those who think differently than him.

This place is no f*cking joke. First off, this is an old-school strength gym, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's not bougie, it's not aesthetic-driven, and it's definitely not trying to be a trendy Instagram gym. It's gritty, it's real, and it's built for people who actually want to get stronger. They've got everythinggggg!Olympic lifting, strongman training, personal training, group classes, nutrition coaching... even a calisthenics coach (which is honestly rare to find). Whether you're a beginner wanting to level up or someone who's already deep in fitness and feels like you've outgrown franchise gyms... this is where you go to get humbled REAL quick. And I love that. The tour alone sold me. Front desk was super welcoming, and the owner was already on it with communication before we even walked in. You can tell this place runs on passion and community, not flashy marketing. Inside? Old-school equipment (my personal favorite &way more effective than a lot of the newer stuff IMO). Outside? A full-on training setup with turf, tires, and space to actually move. There's also indoor turf, kettlebells, and room to train however you want. This is a no-BS, get-it-done gym. One of my favorite parts though? The people. You've got folks in their 70s and 80s lifting alongside everyone else and that's powerful. As a woman in my 40s, that kind of environment hits different. Strength training isn't optional, it's essential & this is the kind of place where you do it right. Also love that they have options for everyone: * Memberships * Personal training * Group classes (super affordable around $20/class once you're cleared) * Even drop-in options for travelers It's flexible, which you don't always see in more serious gyms. And honestly... if you're the person who's always finishing first in group classes and not really getting pushed anymore? Come here. You will be challenged. In the best way. This place feels like a local secret , very word-of-mouth, very "if you know, you know." Not overcrowded (especially midday), dedicated community, and zero fluff. Soooo yeah... I'm hooked. If you're serious about getting stronger -- not just sweating, but actually building strength & this might be the gym in Tucson.

"Day-um, mah booty!"…read more That's what went through my mind the moment I stood up out of bed on Saturday, following Friday's lower body workout. I need to stipulate that I only took the two class introductory deal, so I'm no seasoned client, but those two were enough for me to know that if I ever moved to Tucson, this would be my gym. I'm a lifelong regular gym rat with a hankering for group conditioning classes, and this place done knocked me silly. Front door staff was friendly and welcoming, and more importantly, the coach was outstanding when it came to keeping a keen eye on my form and correcting when necessary. The smallish space was equipped with bikes, ski machines, balls, bells and all the whistles that were needed to send me home an absolute mess. Just a note, they weren't big on stretching, so plan on doing that on your own. I haven't penned a review in quite some time, mainly because I'm rarely wowed. The space itself is super CLEAN with a really nice aesthetic. It's big, doesn't feel cramped, and there's a huge variety of options--everything from classes to hydro massage, red light, tanning, etc. You can literally make a whole self-care day out of being here. Today I tried the new infrared heated yoga flow with Keli and wow... complete heaven. Such a good balance of challenging and relaxing. I left feeling reset. No need to lug around a mat ! they have plenty to use & assigned numbered spots for you and your mat - Huge perk. Honestly, this place just hits. Good sound systems throughout , Great energy, great workouts, and tons of options depending on your mood. The only 2 downsides is the parking lot , Horrible location & unsafe at night .
