The good, the morning is not so busy. The staff is really nice and friendly. The overall cleanliness of it has not been as it was months back. For the price increases I don't understand. The restroom have been looking really nasty. For instance this morning, we attended at 4am (regular time for us) 2 employees working. My husband goes to bathroom. The counters are nasty he don't want to put the water bottle downs or the workout book down. The paper towel dispenser never has paper towels in them. The showers are not cleaned. Mind you this is at 4am. We been coming to this location for years now. And we always try other locations. This one is very outdated. Yes they got new equipment, but the restroom are old and the service on the facility itself needs to be upgraded. Staff are very professional and polite as always. read more

This is my primary gym- the most convenient location for me. The staff has always been fantastic (and nice). My reason for rating two stars is because of the seemingly unchanged men's bathroom that was closed for two months with no obvious reason why. New benches and wallpaper in the locker room and that's it?? I don't see why the bathroom was closed for so long, as literally zero updates were made to the bathroom itself. Men were provided porta-potty's in the parking lot that required a key for entry, so I just didn't go. Very unimpressed with whoever "runs" this location. read more

They should rename this gym: The Phone Zone. Seriously, why go to the gym if you're goal is to take pictures of yourself and constantly be on your phone. YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT! There are dozens of monitors for your entertainment, if that's what you need. Taking valuable time away from others so you can jerk around on your phone is immature and inconsiderate. Grow up. Again, you're not that important. Stop trying to put in a show. Workout and go home. Me and my mom have been coming to this planet for 6 years and we recently got a locker and we didn't know weren't supposed to leave it overnight so when we came back on 5/01/25 our gym bag was gone so we asked the workers at the desk and they said they didn't have our gym bag until my mom sent an email complaining and today we just got our gym bag and we checked the bag and half of our stuff was literally GONE except for our barbell which weird cause like why are you going through our stuff ? Clean gym, friendly staff, nice facilities. So why 3 stars? I'm tired of the male staff using the toilet stalls as their break room. The guys will spend up to 30 minutes hiding out in a stall, playing on their phones. Everyday there is a line for the one stall that an employee isn't hiding in. I've come in the locker room, waited in the line, used the stall, taken a shower, dressed and left all while the same employee will still be playing on his phone! In fact, I've written this entire review while both stalls are currently occupied by employees. We can all see your beige pants under the stall. Absurd! read more

Staff here is great as far as I have experienced. They always seem to have someone cleaning. I have never been to a gym so clean. $25 a month I can go to any gym. I can also bring a friend anytime I want! No sauna, spa, or pool. Showers are super nice and they are huge. They have some tanning beds and massage chairs. There is also a pair of hydro massage tables. I haven't tried any of these but I really should. No tanning bed for me though those things contribute to skin cancer. There is an area for stretching and another section to do a 30 minute workout. The focus of planet fitness is a gym that makes people of all shapes and sizes comfortable to be themselves and get fit however best that works for them. Basically "no judgment" is the name of the game here. I like that. Good job planet fitness. read more

After two years at another gym, one I'd chosen solely for convenience, I made the switch to Planet Fitness and I am very glad I did. While obviously similar in concept, Planet Fitness has so far been better for me on a number of different issues. First, I really like the 24 hour access during the week; whether you want to work out around your job or your family, or you're an insomniac, the late night / early morning access is a definite boon. Next, and it may seem a small thing, but having audio access while on the treadmills and stationary bikes is an asset. Having a TV to watch that you can actually hear is a step up. The other place has a cinema room, but it's insufficiently ventilated and the temperatures are frequently brutal. Finally, I would cite the PF staff as being significantly more pleasant than the staff at the other place. Sure, at the other place you were greeted with the obligatory and desultory 'hello' but it was neither welcoming or sincere. At Planet Fitness it seems the staff are happy to be there, and happy to have their members there too. The difference would be in management and corporate culture. read more

They only care about money and not about health of their clientele. I decided to write this when I looked at the reviews and how they don't seem to care if people wear masks or not. People can say what they want to say about planet fitness but they are generally the same across the country as I travel a lot. They are clean well maintain pieces of equipment and facility. And there is plenty of staff there that welcomed you when you come in and when you are leaving. The black membership card comes in very handy as there are several thousand across the country and you can go to anyone that you want in the area that you are in. read more

Staff isn't too friendly most of the time. Just doesn't feel very welcoming. As a customer, I don't feel like I'm necessary. Just a vibe I get when I interact with staff. I used the circuit room only for several months. The music in the circuit room is much louder than the gym in general and I can barely hear my podcast, which is speaking. When I asked about when to come when it's not so loud, the manager said they can't control it. I resigned because I found a much more peaceful circuit room at the Udall parks and recs center. When I resigned, the manager Jessica, offered no apology and could have cared less whether I stayed or went. Disappointing. read more

Her and all her staff just stand there on their phones and seem to judge everyone who walks in. I canceled my membership because who wants to pay for a membership when they feel unwelcome? Really upset with management on this one and how they just let their employees do what they want. It's really frustrating having to pay for your daughters membership to go to a gym where she can't feel comfortable as there were men not even there working out but were taking pictures of her and others. This man wasn't in employee uniform and was hanging out behind the counter talking with other employees as well, so again management must not be present. I would also like to comment on the shorter lady usually at the front who has been rude multiple times thinking it was funny, so unprofessional. Somebody complained about the fan being too high- i personally think its great, and i work out in shorts and a tank top. when they were a bit lower I was getting way too hot, which is why i started working out in shorts and a tank top, even mid winter, in the first place. this gym is nice, not too packed even with it being January, many different workout machines to chose from- I've heard of some planet fitnesses not even having a single smith machine, definitely not the case here! Workers are nice, bathrooms are always very very clean- they even have vases of flowers in them! (in the womens b-room at least). Really cant think of anything to complain about! Maybe more smith machines would be nice for when it is a bit packed, but thats not toooooo much of an issue I enjoy coming here and feel very comfortable, where as other places i cant say the same. During my month long stay in Tucson, the staff at this PF were very friendly and welcoming. The gym is constantly being cleaned by staff members and everything was clean and well maintained. This is mainly one giant room with a few set off to the side for crunch/stretching, circuit training, etc. Big space, plenty of machines, clean, operational in my experiences, which are just a handful of times. There is a side room for the Black Card carrying members where you can lounge on a couch and use the aqua beds and massage chairs, which are so nice after a workout for me! Parking lot gets a little full at times as it is kinda small there. read more

Locker rooms are spacious with many convenient options - shower stalls, restrooms, vanity with mirrors and blow dryers (women's locker room), and large lockers -bring your own lock! Received a nice welcome goodie bag and free T-shirt when we registered. You can workout at your own pace with your choice of equipment, or sign up and register for classes with the personal trainer. They have all the equipment you would expect a good gym to have but when I needed a larger stability ball for back exercises, they ordered one and seemed happy to do it. This location is clean, staff are friendly overall. Generally, the gym has enough equipment for peak times. I also enjoy the stretching areas. Currently, the majority of TVs around the gym are not functioning properly, leaving a purple/ blue color filter. It's intense enough to strain the eyes to look at any of them. Highly recommend that management look into fixing/ replacing the TVs. read more

I went to this locations two times and both times the person at the front was very unfriendly and made me feel very uncomfortable while I was friendly and smiled at her. She acted like I was an idiot when I didn't know how to use the tanning check in and turned away a second later to go behind the wall before I could say anything else to her. The next day I came back and the young man ignored me and told me to come back later to set up my account. I left a suggestion online about these two situations and the regional manager emailed me and called me a liar saying "she doesn't believe the young man was unpleasant with me" if that's how they treat conflict, I don't want anything to do with this PF location. I canceled my membership the day I received her slandering email. I won't be returning unless I move back to Washington to my old location. read more

Unfriendly staff, reoccurring "late fee" claiming that my payment couldn't be processed initially but always went right thru next day. Seems like a huge scam to me! The bathrooms / showers there are always gross. Hair/ trash/ random stuff left in showers and I've literally went 2 days in a row and saw the same messes from the day before. I would give this gym ZERO stars if I could but that's not possible. I was working out in the 30 minute circuit room all by myself and finished a set, when a worker who was sitting in a chair, approached me and asked me if I would be switching off to the next machine. He stated that I could not work out in that room unless I was going to follow the 30-second rule and move onto the next machine, once I worked out on one. I was not allowed to do sets. Otherwise I needed to be where the "rest of the machines are" and use those. Which by the way someone was using the leg press in the open gym. Meaning I would need to wait my turn, even though there is a room where I could use the machine and get my workout in since I was in that room all by myself. I can understand doing the circuit if there are other people in that room, but for the last time, I WAS ALL BY MYSELF So I guess planet fitness wants more of my money??? Time=Money I ended up canceling my membership today and will never step foot in another PF again. Funny how they have signs in the gym that read something to the effect of the annoying guy with a whistle... Hmm that's exactly what the employee did today. Corporate has some reflecting to do. My massage therapist Hallie helps me with any issues I have from head to toe! I switched from another huge gym to one where I felt would be more my style. It's a perfect fit as far as location, style, and amenities. They even serve pizza the first Monday of the month! Talk about motivation to finish your workout. Woman's Locker room is well spaced and big and they have a changing stall that's not a shower or bathroom stall. I love the Black Card Spa. Overall I never felt more comfortable at a gym. Large quantity of machines--LARGE...you will always find a machine regardless. read more

After quiting the other "inexpensive" gym due to their lack of customer service, lack of professionalism, and general lack of everything I was looking for in a gym environment I was beyond excited to join this club. It is clean, all equipment is new and well kept. It is quiet, not 10 people chatting it up rather than working out, NO ONE on their cellphones, just a group of people sincerely trying improve their body and health. I will never be Arnold, I look for a comfortable place to "do my thing" and I found it. Eddie was great, explained the gym, expenses, made my decision very easy. Honestly this club is trash and belongs in the depths of the nearest landfill . Not only do people hog and basically live at the squat racks but there's ONLY 4!!!! How is there 60 Cardio Equipment and just 4 Squat Racks. Groups hog the squat racks just to take photos , stare at gym goers, and text until the time strikes midnight. The counter people just laugh and talk and do random shit instead of enforcing rules. I went in today to hear loud music at the squat racks on a personal speaker. And the employees just talk and talk AND TALKKKKKK. If the squat racks are going to be limited to .02 of the population of Tucson there SHOULD be a time limit!!! I ain't paying the highest membership for a gym that is run by lousy workers and limited equipment. I go in leaving so unsatisfied and only being able to use 3 equipments within an hour because of how much time people waste others times on the machines.
