Chuze is an all around great spot. I haven't had any issues with machines, staff, or fellow gym goers. Everyone I've come across has been very respectful. Every time you check in you're always greeted with a smile, which makes the experience feel more welcoming. The lighting is great, weights are organized well, and machines are spread out just enough to not be too crammed. For the affordable price you pay this place has it all and more. Great place to workout. I'm terrible at coming in multiple times a week but I try to get there every Tuesday for Mary RPM cycling class. Mary is an amazing teacher. She pushes me to do what I know my body can do but don't always do. And the massage chairs after class are amazing! read more

Chuze Fitness has been my favorite gym I have tried out so far. The front desk is always friendly and willing to help. I have never felt uncomfortable working out here and enjoy that there are a lot of options. One of my favorite things they have is the cinema. Watching a movie while working out makes the time go by so much faster. They have a decent size pool as well as a variety of classes. The staff keep the gym clean and sanitary. Their yummy smoothies are the perfect post work out treat, though the price of the smoothie is a little high. read more

There is one employee who consistently has been targeting me as a colored individual for the past week of being at the gym. I don't feel happy considering how much money I have given this place over the years. Targeting an individual due to their skin tone when there has been several other people in the building doing the same thing this employee was complaining about. This employee barely showed up in the last few to several months considering I have been paying this gym since it has opened. This employee wants to target and be disrespectful to me I feel in the last two times I have been there this week. Then wants to laugh and talk on the walkie. I feel racially profiled considering multiple people in that steam room were in there as well with the same qualifications and this employee only pointed me out. Overall Chuze is okay in facilities (else it would receive 1 star), but rates low for me for 3 reasons (#1 could be overlooked, but not 2 and 3): 1. While getting dressed in the men's locker room, picture were being taken by someone (client? no idea). Not cool, needed action. 2. During Covid, the local facilities were not kept clean. 3. With no other contact, I am receiving collection agency calls about my Chuze account being in arrears. I stopped going to Chuze in 2021 (SEE #1!) No phone call. No email. Just a collections call. (Bank account change - otherwise I would still be being charged monthly for no service...) The latter drops Chuze out of the running as a gym option for me. I rarely go anymore because of the condition the jacuzzi is in every time its been either not working and/or extremely dirty as it was this time.. These also still have not done anything about shoes in the Sauna / Steam Room . What happens is customers Work out Do not shower and go straight into the steam room. With their nasty BO and shoes still on . No one ever showers before entering the stream room and theres always someone in their with their sneakers on its extremely gross . read more

They offer so many things here from classes, to extensive workout equipment, to coaching and in body scans, to the saunas and pool. Stop by the hydromassage or take a spin class. This club has incredibly friendly staff! They always greeted me on the way in and said goodbye on the way out. The place was also very clean and had an amazing selection on equipment. They also have a rewards program (although it seems to be fading out some) that I used for the occasional energy drink on some rougher mornings. This place is new and has huge potential but there are a few things that are totally odd and throw me off every time I visit. The vast area of equipment is awesome and there is little wait at all on equipment use. The weight area and training areas are all great. Staff is always nice and wiping stuff down all the time. Here's the stuff that bugs me. The cinema room is a great idea and is awesome to kill time and cycle...but what is up with the smell in there? Every time I come it smells bad in there. No ventilation and no air fresheners make for a stanky experience. I understand there's 20 bodies in there but you got to get some air flowing inside. Next is the new equipment wipe down stations, they suck. The paper always falls down and has to be fixed and the rags are very small with too much liquid that leaves wet white streaks on the equipment. Lastly the hydro message area, it is hard to relax with a person 6 inches away talking on the phone and weezing from their workout. Also, letting the people do their own bed wipe downs is GROSS. You know half these people don't wipe down their equipment and the same goes with the beds...you need to have an employee wipe down and inspect each bed before putting another body in it. You are setting yourself up for bed bugs or staff infection issues. Will continue to return, love the pool and sauna area. read more

I've only been a member a few months and already know I made the right decision. Ariel Bowen is an amazing teacher and I love chuze fusion, I've enjoyed Zumba, spin, and yoga hood was just the right speed for me to get back to it. I like the classes and am intimidated by the weights and machines. I'll probably fall in with some team training. All I can say is it's super clean, they've got strong fans and I was shocked how comfy it was even without ac in the group fitness room I was able to feel comfortable. I wasn't keen on aqua fit... it was a bunch of people walking back and forth and the waves were too strong. Guess that was the resistance. But my thing and I've lived aqua fit elsewhere with water weights and tabata. I echo hydro massage. It's a great way to end a workout. Glad I joined . read more

During the pandemic, Chuze created a safe environment by requiring masks and providing for social disancing. They have now decided to not enforce masking and working out on treadmills can be done shoulder to shoulder. That is unsafe. So they are free to make a choice on how they run their business but I dont want to work out in an unsafe environment. I canceled by membership and wont return until Chuze runs a safe operation. UPDATE: I appreciate the response, however, you are a business that supports health and healthy living. I would assume that you would follow medical advice and CDC guidelines, not a poltical decision. You choose to lower the requirements, you didn't have to. Many businesses continue to enforce mask mandates. Those are the ones I choose to frequent. read more

I don't understand why employees are not instructed to park at the back of the parking lot, or on the side of the building. Traditionally the most convenient parking is left for the clientele, especially when some of the clients may be elderly and/or physically challenged. The staff are ostensibly young and fit, so parking a bit further away from the front door should not represent too great a challenge for them. read more

I am a relative new member here and have been very Impressed with the Amenities and equipment. The Pool, Hot Tub, and Infared Saunas are clean. The Equipment is all in excellent working condition and the Cinema is a great new way to Exercise. The only drawback is the fact that some people use the same machines for a long time and the Hours here are a little confusing. The Hydromassage is awesome! read more

Chuze plays the music so loud I can't concentrate on my workout. In a time everyone has earbuds it's ridiculous. I complained to the front desk and they told me the AM Manager sets the volume And they are not allowed to change the volume, total BS. It's a volume. I had to yell at my workout partner It's not a comfortable environment And I will be taking my business to another gym. I love Chuze Fitness but the 22nd and Kolb location is objectively better than this one. The layout is kind of odd because all of the free weights, cable machines, and weight machines are in front of the cardio machines so you feel like you're on display to the runners and elliptical-users. Chuze is the most affordable and best maintained gym franchise in all of Tucson. At $10 per month (and an annual fee of $50 or so), you won't be breaking the bank. There are always people cleaning; I even saw one of the employees sweeping the parking lot one day. They decorate for holidays have lots of special giveaways throughout the year. Don't forget about earning Chuze points via the app, with which you can redeem cool prizes like a Fitbit Alta or an Apple Watch. They're also very friendly to new gym goers with policies like no grunting or dropping weights. Lots of personal trainers and group exercise classes are available throughout the day. If you decide to upgrade to the premium membership, you can even bring a guest for free. That's such a ridiculous good deal. You also get free hydro-massages. read more

These hours at CHUZE Grant & Craycroft are dumb MON: 4AM - 12AM TUE: 4AM - 12AM WED: 4AM - 12AM THU: 4AM - 12AM FRI: 4AM - 9PM SAT: 6AM - 8PM SUN: 6AM - 8PM Almost ALL people have to get up in the mornings and go to work, Monday thru Friday. So being open until midnight Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thur is NOT HELPFUL. Should instead have these hours: MON: 5AM - 10PM TUE: 5AM - 10PM WED: 5AM - 10PM THU: 5AM - 10PM FRI: 5AM - 12AM SAT: 6AM - 12AM SUN: 6AM - 10PM This will make it so people can go to work, go to the gym, then get up in the morning and go to work again. I have this vision of a rhino unrelentingly pushing against a jeep in the wilds of Africa in the attempt to push it over. I also am reminded of a Gila Monster who locks his jaws on prey and never releases. Both of these metaphors are offered as comparisons that the Chuze culture is for blaring music during workouts. I recently visited on a guest pass, and it as always has been. Instead of responses from management that this blaring sound is responsive to members desires (which I have never experienced from staff), I wish they would simply post a sign that says, "we are committed to our choice of music, played at high volume, and we really don't give a damn for you opinion." I got on the app tonight and they raised it from 10K to 12K. That sucks. Everyone's knew that I was close and I was working on the rewards to get the watch..so now what when I get within another 300, are you're going to jack the amount up again. My only issue is that I'm not sure who I'm their right mind wants to hear dubstep at 4 in the morning, the music in general is usually terrible. I had been with the gym for a year and a half and it was relatively clean and passable as gym. However, after the first of this year, it looks like the gym membership was oversold and it took a strong turn for the worse. It became very busy and I couldn't get a decent workout done without waiting very long for equipment. A workout that would normally take one hour would take an hour and a half or longer to get done. Management does not police people working out two or three equipments at a time. I don't know if there was a management change but the cleanliness of the location has taken a hit as well. A lot of young staff just seem to sit around the front desk area and you very rarely see them on the floor cleaning areas that are messy. I get that you are a for profit business, but there is a balance in maximizing profits and providing a clean workout location for the square footage of the gym that you have. I finally had enough, and quit when the gym was too too busy to get a workout done in a timely manner. So, a week after I quit, my wife decided to quit for the same reason. She was charged a $50 cancel fee and today I noticed that I was still charged my account for her monthly membership fee! She had another person quitting right next to her. This is not a coincidence! Poor managed location! Plain and simple. Not going to recommend it. Not going to go there ever again! read more

I have worked out with a trainer at this gym for over 4 years and with the new location all personal training has been cancelled. I have osteoporosis and this weight bearing excercise is essential. I can see no reason why personal training cannot live side by side the new features of the new location. The members who purchase personal training I would have thought to be a valuable asset to your bottom line. One size does not fit all! I work for a major Corp that has a motto of " get to yes".... of late your company's seems to be " my way or the highway". I'm definitely looking at the highway option. This can be easily resolved, Tucson has an older community, see it as an opportunity vs. not fitting into your new business plan... assuming you have one. GET IT TOGETHER!!! read more

WiFi being out for this long is simply unacceptable, and members should be getting their money back for not receiving a membership that provides all the services that were agreed upon and all services promised in the plan. Notice fans are sometimes slow. alos today the vacum was running today with a lot of odor that lingered. I will continue with this gym in hopes that the ait filtration and circulation improves. I like this gym a lot, there are a lot of amenities. My only complaint is why do u always put someone next to me in the massage chair when there are literally EVERY other chair available?
