First clue - it sounds like a freight train, which I asked about. He used the wrong square footage and installed a unit TOO BIG for our ductwork. The system short cycles and it can't push the air through. It leaked refrigerant and we had to have system charged on several occasions (Stan conveniently says it never happened - I have receipts). His contract stated 10 years part and labor but we had to replace a coil (Oct 2025) and $1500 later... system is not working again (Aug 2026). 3 companies recently came out and ALL agreed that the system is too big and NOT WORKING. NOW we need a NEW system. I am reporting him to BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OF PA. Shame on him. Don't fall for his old school blah blah blah. Terrible. I am sure he will have a great response. Consulted with Jacoby Plumbing, Adam (the owner) recommended a tankless system. His guys just left, took me from the old tank (left) to the new tankless (right). I was worried about lag between turning on the spigot and actually getting hot water, but heck, I think it's actually a little faster than my old system. The guys were nice, did a great job, in and out in just a couple hours. Took care of everything and hauled away the old clunker for me too. I was also super appreciative that Adam was willing to work with me, splitting the payment as I was a little short on the funds and payday is a week away. I bathed the last couple days with a bucket, so I'm *SUPER* super thankful for having hot water today not next week haha. Not good!!! Mitsubishi split system, two 36k units, 5 head units. 1 head unit wasn't blowing…read morecold. Asked Miller HVAC to check system pressure and recharge. I Agreed to let them clean the system while fixing the 1 head unit which wasn't blowing cold. Took the tech 3 hours to clean the units. He damaged one of the walls, didn't take the head units apart therefore, did not clean out the drains or drain pan, and most import, did not fix or even diagnose the head unit that wasn't blowing cold. They charged me $725 to clean the system... that's $240 per hour!!! What a rip-off. A week later they haven't responded to my request for partial refund and damaged wall. Desperate, the same day I called another HVAC company. They came out 1 day later, determined that the system pressure was low, found a leaky connection, tightened, recharged, and system now works perfectly. Cost additional $500, but was so worth it. $725 to Miller HVAC was a waste. Please consider NOT doing business with them.
