Explained issues he found in addition to my concerns. Developed three level plan with pricing for each. Also explained leaky water heater and checked warranty. Once decided what I wanted done, he came back on scheduled day (4/23and completed all repairs/replacements. Josh explained exactly what he and his trainee (Ben Mulron) were doing as they performed the various tasks, had an efficient work plan and was very personable and polite. Completed all the work in time estimated and did a walk thru with me showing me everything done. Also explained current warranty on various work. He was very respectful of my concern for the owner's cats who are still in the house. In addition, he was a very good supervisor, explaining tasks to trainee to do and showing him minor correction and letting him redo. All in all it was a positive experience and I would highly recommend Neffsville Plumbing and Josh Reyes.

Andrew and Jack are great listeners and demonstrated a professional and friendly demeanor. Their recommendations and suggestions for each project felt like they were offered by team players rather than sellers. Their empathy and knowledge of their craft was evident in the solutions they offered. We definitely feel we are in good hands. Each project was completed in a timely manner and with care to protect the integrity of our house, since it was built in 1938. Their team-work was not only in synchronicity, but also demonstrated attention to details and support for each other. We are very happy with the results and grateful for their excellent costumer service.

    i figured I would stick with someone local. The receptionist was very nice. She said the owner…read morewould like me to send pictures of the place where the water system would be installed...I did so and she called back to say that he would quote the job off of the pictures. I sent pictures and never heard back. After a few follow up phone calls and promises that a quote would be coming...it's over a week later and still no quote. I hired S A Way Plumbing and Heating and did the job same day and took a little over 2 hours. I got a quote from Brubaker Plumbing and they said it would take two days...at least $1,000. S A Way Plumbing and Heating charged $95 hour. You do the math!

    Buyer Beware. I had a couple plumbing issues pop up, nothing too major. I went online to find a…read moreplumber, figured I'd look small & local. I asked for a quote from Snyder's, they came back with $650-$750, which to me was a bit high, but I figured $750 was worst case scenario. Longer story shorter, I got invoiced for $983. "If it's going to cost more, we'll let you know beforehand". That never happened. I contacted another contractor who said there's no way that job should have cost as much as I was invoiced. Now they did have to come back a second time because my out-of-the-box pump failed and needed to be replaced. Ok, I get that, 2nd trip needed, but an original 2-3 hour job, I got billed 4.5 hrs. Ok, I can let that go because of the 2nd trip. But where I took issue was the materials charge. I looked at the parts list and decided to check prices thru Home Depot & Lowes. It added up to right around $150. I got charged $465 for materials. Now if my price is $150 from a big box store, what do you think Snyder's is getting charged as an in-industry business who bought from a supply house? So their markup is over 300%? That's BS. Plus I was charged for 2 10' pcs of pipe where they only needed 1'. Think they threw the other 9' away? So I called them on these prices, got a response (eventually), and here we are. I paid their bill, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to speak caution for the next unsuspecting person looking for plumbing services. While their face-to-face interactions were fine, it's the business practices and after-the-fact pricing that has me writing this negative review. Save me the do-it-yourself diatribe, there was no way that was a $983 job. There's reasonableness, and then there's price gouging. You decided to go for the money, so you got your money, but I'll be sure to let people know to look elsewhere. Reputations and word-of-mouth still mean something in a small town.

    Let's start with the obvious--there are some people rating this company poorly without really…read moregiving credit to the quality work that's being done or providing much evidence to support it. As a business owner myself, I understand how quickly people leave negative reviews, so I do want to acknowledge those who took the time to leave positive feedback as well. My experience with Benjamin has been an adventure from the start. I think what some of the negative reviewers are missing is the importance of communication with the great people who work here--people who will genuinely have your back. It's a shame that the simple art of communication isn't practiced more often nowadays. Kudos to Brennan, Heather, and the star of the show, Billy (trained by Brennan, who I know is very proud--and rightfully so). As shown in the attached images, there's a clear comparison between Culligan and Billy's work. Culligan, in our experience, would take 1-2 weeks just to return a call or explain anything. As a homeowner, I had no idea what I was even looking at with their system. When I asked if someone could come out, I was told no because we hadn't purchased or continued renting the system from the previous owner. Notably, Culligan didn't even realize our home still had their system installed, which says a lot. Culligan also quoted a $350 service charge just to test the water and provide pricing for a new system. In contrast, the team at Benjamin tested the water on the spot at no cost. As a new homeowner trying to learn about water softeners, Culligan wasn't willing to answer questions and wanted to charge $450 for new filters. Benjamin Franklin and team, on the other hand, answered all my questions and even provided free filters with our system--plus a few bags of salt. READ THIS: If you're going to leave a review, please take the time to communicate with management. They're people, and they're not out to get you. A simple conversation goes a long way. Thank you again to Brennan, Heather, and especially Billy for your hard work and patience in answering my questions despite how busy you all are. Being a new homeowner is overwhelming at times, and your help has made it much more manageable. Sorry for the long post, but after reading some reviews I felt it was fair to share my experience.
