Instead of handling the situation professionally, the interaction quickly became confrontational. The person I spoke with on the phone was disrespectful and spoke to me in a way that I felt was completely unnecessary for a simple check pickup. I was even told, in a very rude manner, that I could "go get my freaking brother." I understand businesses have procedures they need to follow, but there is a professional way to communicate those procedures with people. I came in respectfully and expected the same treatment in return. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
