Michael (the tech) left our home with a damaged wall, removed the camera from the front door and left wires dangling and pulled the siding when he removed the camera from the rear and left wires haning all oover. He cursed my wife in front of my grandkids. I will never allow this company into any of my homes and you shouldn't either.

Pye Barker refuses to honor the change of name that was approved by Altronics as the result of an estate settlement upon the death of my mother. The contract with Altronics clearly stated that the account number would remain the same, the monitoring period would remain the same and the remaining months left on the annual service would be credited as paid in full. Now they want to wipe away that time frame and claim the contract is being cancelled 7.73 months early. My relationship spans over 22 years going back to when we had another property under Royal Security. In less than a year with Pye Barker, my satisfaction went to total dissatisfaction. Stay away from Pye Barker and find a smaller security company with more personalized treatment!

Then he called again, left a message that he was not able to find a parking space (NOT a fact at this time of the day in my neighborhood). I contacted him again at 2:50pm and he was on his way to the next appointment. I checked where he was, he said at 67th street.... In 5 minutes he was at 67th street from Center City???? At 2:55pm I called Tony at the office to report the lack of service (note that 2:55pm was before the time of my scheduled appointment with Joe). Tony had been very helpful a few days prior, to get all the information and organize the field inspection with the salesman Joe. However, when the incident was reported, he was polite but non-committal, like he could not do anything about it but knew about the problem with sales...? I am not sure what has happened. Philadelphia is to far? Too complicated for a NJ organization? They have a communication problem? PRO TIP: You can easily guess the vendor passcode, and enable all of those features yourself, and it's a passable system. Initially they told me there was no cancelation fee if you are moving out of your house. I called them the month i moved out. I cleared all my bills and asked them if everything is taken care of. They said everything is good and upto date. After one year they sent me a bill for 1200 dollars in "cancellation fee". When i called them they said, "sorry you were misinformed and you still have to pay as per your contract". This is after one year. i had also moved out of that house by that time and didnt receive the bill on time. They sent this bill to the collection agency and ruined my credit score at the same time as i was trying to take out a home loan. When i called them, they blackmailed me into saying they will not remove this from my credit score. I didn't have a choice but to pay them this fraudulent bill in order to fix my credit, ended up paying 1.5% more on mortgage rate and also paid their fake 1200 charge. Please please be very careful with this company. I have filed a complaint against them to consumer financial protection bureau. Their contact number is 855-411-2372. Despite my calling him totally unsolicited on a Friday evening, Jason talked with me for nearly a half hour about the multitude of options available to me to protect myself against this contractor, how to press him into action, how to ensure he gets the work done, and much more.
