We stayed at a hotel on Pac Hwy and had the wonderful opportunity to walk down to the beach and entertain restaurants and shops along the way. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was, and the friendliness of all the people I encountered. The beach was well kept and the lifeguards very attentive, you can tell a sense of pride by the people who frequent this beach, as it didn't seem the typical tourist destination. Would thoroughly recommend- Location is 1 Pier Ave/ Pac Hwy - parking is streets

I had thematic rounds of local biz I have been Yelping to support here. I was in town in the 'City of Studio City,' was because I have been on a transfer mode for work for a short while, so I had some vacation time which is coming to a close soon. Any ways, the two businesses I located to support from the 'City of Studio City,' was 'Muse House Retreat,' where I met store owner, Lana and on-site counselor Leo who both helped me stay aligned, extremely calmed, and 400% confident everything was going to turn out more than I can ask or think of my life's 'next steps.' The other was '7-Eleven,' to locate free parking. The day I visited, I actually located free parking off the curb, but it was a block down the street. That was super fortunate for me, and was definitely my super lucky day. I'll be back again soon supporting more local biz here in the 'City of Studio City.' Cya again soon!!!!

Bestie and I lost a friend back in high school and we've made it an annual tradition to visit him…read moreat the nearby Forest Lawn. That said, that's when we usually find ourselves roaming around this beautiful and sorta quaint town of Studio City. I found myself here for an appointment and got to do a little more exploring. Lots of businesses along Ventura Blvd alone - I even spotted Jinya, one of the spots Bestie and I grubbed at before going to one of those aforementioned visits we make. I also noticed tons of people doing errands accompanied by their dogs - what a dog-friendly town this is! I also got the chance to drive around a few blocks' worth of residential neighborhood. There must be some speedsters running around these quiet blocks because there were "slow down" and "15 MPH ONLY" signs... Such clean neighborhoods, from what I saw. My favorite thing is that although Los Angeles County have eased up on the mask mandate, people till took caution and kept their masks on as well as distanced socially. Good lookin' out! And street parking was more than reasonable: $1/hr is a bargain! I already found a few possible places Bestie and I will be eating at when that annual visit come around... looking forward to more exploring!

I find myself looking forward to visiting every time I can because I always seem to find something to do while at Anaheim and feel as though I have endless choices for things to see, do, or experience. My number #1 reason for traveling to Anaheim is the Disneyland Resort. Both parks Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure provide me with such an amazing experience with all of their food, rides, and entertainment, creating so many wonderful memories! Disneyland is not the only attraction in Anaheim though! I also very much enjoy the Anaheim Packing District. This area has a wide variety of food offerings from several restaurants and vendors located within walking distance. It provides a great option when dining with friends, family, or simply trying a little taste of everything! Another major attraction in Anaheim is the Anaheim Convention Center. It hosts countless events, expos, and conferences annually and adds an incredible amount of energy to the surrounding areas, giving Anaheim the feel of being a central location for business and entertainment alike! Knott's Berry Farm, which is within a short driving distance from the convention center, is yet another exciting theme park choice if you want to branch out with activities on your vacation! I visited Knott's Berry Farm recently and so many changes have happened in the Theme park since I last visited over 10 years ago! There are plenty of fantastic restaurants in Anaheim that can be found all over the city! There is always a variety of good options whether you're picking something fast and easy close to the amusement parks or having a sit down meal. Anaheim is a place with a few different things going on from amusement parks, food, events and a fantastic downtown area, which is part of the reason I continue to come back while visiting from Las Vegas!

Nice area to walk around and get some steps in, however the level of self absorption by its residents has reached an all time high. More specifically, the south side of Bixby Knolls. Facebook moms and never ending "post-able" content seekers on every street. Residents hosting drinking parties on their front lawns. Summer and winter concerts hosted in driveways with liquor being passed around till midnight. Playdates where parents are video recording and snapping cell phone photos non stop, searching for that perfect post-able photo! Neighbors copying each other's home re-models and re-landscape projects trying to one up each other. One neighbor buys a new car only for 3 other neighbors to run out and buy more expensive cars....again trying to outdo one another. I do not understand what has happened to Bixby Knolls. Seems like a majority of residents have become complete narcissists and are constantly in a battle of being better and having more than the next person. Very sad to see the superficial bubble world that Bixby Knolls has become. Self absorption is only one example of behavior I have observed in Bixby Knolls. There are many residents here that seem to think that they should involve themselves in everybody's lives and business, even when it does not concern them. It seems that COVID has brought out the worst of these types. While taking a stroll through Bixby Knolls, on the west side of Olive Ave., between Marshall Place and Roosevelt streets, one resident actually came outside of their house and started screaming at me, "6 feet, 6 feet!" All because I was taking a leisurely stroll with a family member that I live with. So here, the screaming Bixby Knolls resident was screaming at me all because I was walking on a public sidewalk! WOW! This is a prime example of how a Bixby Knolls resident was trying to get into somebody else's business that did not concern them! This type of behavior can be seen all over the area. If you are a Bixby Knolls resident, beware of who you associate with. Neighbors gossiping about other neighboring families, resulting in rumors flying up and down the streets is sadly an everyday occurrence. Neighboring parents bragging about their kids. "My kid is better than your kid." Again, a sad daily occurrence in Bixby Knolls. The scent of weed comes and goes all day. Take a walk in Bixby Knolls and you will smell it. Live in Bixby Knolls and have your windows open on a hot day? You will have the scent of weed blowing into your house. Take a drive through Bixby Knolls and you will smell it seeping into your car. Those kids that were better than yours? Wait till they reach adulthood - you will know why you are smelling weed everywhere. Overall, a nice place. Beware of who you associate with in Bixby Knolls. I love the city of Fullerton!…read more I'm a new resident here. Prior to that, I would always go to downtown Fullerton for the fun festivities! Downtown Fullerton offers lots of eateries, shopping and things to do. It seems like there is a strong sense of community here. Most people seem nice and friendly. Sure, there are some that aren't. You will find that anywhere though. The parking situation is a nightmare at downtown. You can never find parking. I have noticed many of the roads and sidewalks need to be repaired. It seems like the city is older and could be maintained better. I do like the splashes of architecture you will find throughout Fullerton. It's a pretty city.

Hey, I just went through an inspection for the third time with a city inspector, and honestly, it's…read morebeen a frustrating experience. It's really disheartening to see such poor professionalism and lack of knowledge from these guys. The inspector failed me the first time because he claimed he didn't see proof of the sheathing inspection for my roof, even though everything is available online. It just doesn't make any sense. I had to go in person to try and clear things up, but instead, they just rescheduled the inspection again. Then the inspector showed up a week later. Luckily, I got there before he left because he was already preparing a note saying I failed the inspection again. I caught him on it and questioned him, and to make a long story short, he kept trying to fail me without any valid reason. In the end, he had no choice but to sign off and pass the inspection. The inspector's name is Noah, and he's the supervisor. I'm not sure what his problem was, but as a supervisor, he definitely needs more training and professionalism. It's disappointing and honestly a waste of time dealing with this kind of behavior when I'm just trying to get things done right.
