The entire vibe of the studio is incredibly inviting and not something I have ever experienced before in other studios in Bergen county. It feels like a true community of great people with no judgment. Rachel the owner is wonderful. She is so sweet and extremely experienced in her practice and makes a point to learn who all her students are. Giving relaxing, yet unique and strong classes. I try my best to catch her classes when I can. Erica is also incredible. Her classes are vibrant and fun, while providing a true yoga experience with dharma, guided breath work and movement at your pace. She makes sure to say hello and chat with all her current and new students before every class. I am literally mind blown every time with how personable everyone is. I have also taken Danielle and Josh and both are equally amazing as well. I have never been able to find a studio with multiple instructors I love and I knew when I did at Flow I found my yoga home. This yoga studio is an absolute gem and has given me such an amazing experience over the past few months I am going to classes upwards of three times a week, which I have never done in the 10 years I've practiced. The studio is always very clean and well kept. Super zen vibe the moment you walk in. I prefer this studio to the Mahwah location, but they're both very inviting. Highly recommend this studio for challenging flows and great mind-body connection. I appreciate how the classes here aren't "workout" focused as a lot of other studios are. My friend has quoted Mandy's sage advice: "You don't mess with the gods or your knees." I would consider myself an advanced beginner and used to challenge myself to the level II/III class on Tuesday evenings. My work and their class schedule have since changed, but I'll still try to drop in whenever our schedules align. Most recently, I've been hitting up the community yoga classes on Fridays at 7:30. They are taught by teachers in training, and there is almost always a great vibe in the studio. As fellow Yelpers have mentioned, parking in both the adjoining lot and the municipal lot across the street can get a bit tricky. Either come early or plan to park on a side street. Either way, this place is completely worth it.

At my most recent visit to Ridgewood RHY, they went against their own policy and gave my spot away to someone else less than 5 minutes after class started. I was late due to lack of parking. I've been on the other end of this policy at multiple locations, waiting on standby in the event that someone was a no-show, and had to wait the full five minutes. Ive been turned away before because the person running late arrived at the last second. I totally get it! However, the same courtesy was not extended to me. I'm really disappointed, and probably won't visit this location again soon because of this.

I've taken classes with Kip, Kelly S., Kelly C., Anjali, Sonia, Judy, Matt, and Lisa and even though their styles are all COMPLETELY different, I loved every class in a different way. Your first class is free so you can try it out without having to pay. Most of the classes are 90 minutes but some are only an hour if you're looking for something shorter. Single classes are $18 each but if you purchase packages online, you save 5%. In addition, they also offer student/senior deals on TOP of that so it truly pays to book online! My 6-class package came out to $68. My only complaint is that on hot days, it gets HOT in there. I've done hot yoga before, but this is a little different: it's just stuffy, humid, and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if they don't have A/C or just choose not to use it but if you're planning on going in the summer, dress lightly and bring a headband and towel. The Ramsey location has an overhead fan. They also have a brand new GORGEOUS location in Chestnut Ridge, although the air situation is comparable (and no overhead fan). It's also next door to a coffee shop and the walls are VERY thin, however, the coffee is great!
