I called ahead to let them know I was running late for an appointment. Instead of offering a shortened window or working with me, the staff explicitly told me not to come in. They then charged me a $30 "no-show" fee. When I reached out to resolve this, management completely refused to waive the charge--even though they were the ones who told me not to turn up, and despite our history as a loyal household of six patients. It is incredibly shortsighted to lose an entire family's business over an unwaived $30 fee caused by a situation their own staff directed. We will be taking our dental care elsewhere.

And rather than referring me to a specialist who could complete the procedure I require, they told me it could be completed by them. Turns out that's not true. Despite their confidence in the straight roots of my tooth, the Dr couldn't complete the procedure. So here I am, 6 hours after my procedure, in substantial discomfort and pain (I was told there would be none) waiting for my appointment with a specialist next week. In the meantime, I have a temporary "filling" to hold me over. Due to this offices greed, over confidence, or lack of understanding of their capabilities has left me in a terrible position - 2 days prior to christmas none the less. I will admit, they worked with me to locate an Endo post op at their office. However, they locate in network providers, rather have recommendations or qualified personnel that they would trust. All in all, I feel duped. The first comment made to me pre-op was that if they can't finish some how I'll be referred to a specialist. That's an interesting comment to make pre- surgery - "if we can't do this, we'll stop half way and have you finish the procedure with someone more qualified days later" PLEASE don't go here for work that an Endo should complete. I have learned the hard way that my relationship with this office should have ended at teeth cleanings.

The staff are all friendly, professional and excellent at their jobs. The office is beautiful and makes you feel at home right away. They have so many little touches that really add to the experience. There is a mini-fridge of water bottles and there are freshly baked cookies in the front lobby. My kids love Creekwood dental because Dr. Smith and his staff go above and beyond to make kids feel comfortable, to explain everything so that they know what to expect, and to make the whole experience a positive one. In addition to getting a goodie bag of dental hygiene items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss (which they let the kids select), the kids get to pick out a sticker after their cleaning and get a token to go put in a machine for a prize. The hygienist also lets the kids pick their flavor of toothpaste when they get their cleaning. My daughter often get bubble gum flavor. Kids love choices :) When my daughter leaves Creekwood Dental she is skipping out like she's leaving a birthday party with her cookie, water bottle, goodie bag, sticker and prize. She can't ever wait to go back! In fact, between appointments she often asks when she can go back to the dentist. I love having my appointments as well. I get a babysitter for my kids and I go and lay back in the chair and relax and I feel like I've come in for a spa visit! It is such an enjoyable and relaxing experience! I trust Dr. Smith and his work. He is honest and an excellent dentist, I would recommend Creekwood Dental and Dr. Paul Smith to anyone.

Everyone in that office is professional while being sensitive to your needs. i haven't had a serious work done yet because they guide me on how to properly have good hygiene but every visit feels like home and i know i can share things about my dental hygiene without judgement. also there is nothing wrong with their front desk team. they are very sweet and understanding. they give many chances for redemption if their are any issues and they always have done their best to help with any insurance issues. if anything the insurance people are the issue not them. they don't force any treatments on you, they suggest you do the right thing for your dental hygiene and that's it. the rest is up to you. they make a plan for you and give you the ESTIMATES on any treatment that seems to need to be done.
