What I call a sib is called by many different terms depending on what part of the country you are in. Wawa got their start in Pennsylvania somewhere by Philadelphia and over there, people call them hoagies. The story that I have always heard is that the name hoagie xomes from the Hoagland submarine base and the employees loved this particular sandwich so much that people started calling them hoagies. Anyway, for a gas station, Wawa has some pretty stellar subs (or if you prefer, hoagies). The gas is competitively priced and Wawa is an overall positive experience. You fill out a detailed service form inside the Shell station and the cashier, who is also a garage employee, takes care of it from there. When the mechanic called to give me his report, he followed my instructions to proceed with the oil change but get my permission for any other work needed. He told me my tires were in good condition (and didn't try to upsell me to make a buck). With the roads in Bmore being what they are, it would have been really easy to try that card (which some untrustworthy mechanics do more so with women), but this guy was honest with me and I respect that. He also said that my AC issue wasn't a problem that required any work and might just come and go, though harmless-- so again, saving me cash. The whole process was very efficient and reasonable priced, and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend!

Speaking of which, the whole reason I went into Royal Farms to begin with is because the new Crunchy Chicken Croissant is fire and I was craving one. Luckily I was able to get one at the second location and they also had the DIY milkshake machine there too, which the other location didn't have. Needless to say they need to fire the employees working late night at this location. I will be going to the Roland Ave Royal Farms from now on....unless I need gas. I ordered two of the spicy chicken strips for a fee of $4.99 (inc.Tax) and when I bit off my first bite the chicken had nice spice and breading, but it was extremely dry and the pieces were very small for the price. If I could attach photos, I would. Anyways, I just wanted to make someone aware of the quality drop in the infamous chicken from Royal Farm Store.
