This place is a joke if you have any problems! There is no person of authority to confront with your problem, especially a car wash issue! The manager who you are always directed to works from 4am to 2pm on select days only! Forget about getting your problems resolved on the weekend or after she leaves. Last Wednesday when I was in DuPage County, I stopped here for gas. DuPage was 20 cents a gallon cheaper than gas in Cook County. I filled up my tank and went inside the store to buy a snack and use the wash room. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the store was kept. For lack of ZERO stars... this place is a crap hole. Their pumps either don't work or the receipt does not print for the car wash- no sign on the pump. So you walk in there and the lines are long as hell. The cashiers wear neck masks instead of face coverings as mandated. On top of that they are rude, as they are doing me a favor in answering my question. Upgraded store is pretty nice and employees here are usually very pleasant and helpful, which isn't always the case at gas stations. The wash is nice, but is SUPER slow. I have the monthly pass and they can't adjust which wash you get , so you always get the premium super wash and it takes about 7-8mins. This combined with waiting behind any other cars, means the wait can be quite some time to get your car washed, so you have to check for how busy it is. It's also not functioning often, which is a bit of a downer when you're paying the monthly fee. As someone else mentioned, the dryers don't always get the job done as well as they should. read more

I went to go get $10.00 of gas to get me by for a few days. All I had for was 3 singles and $7.00 in quarters. I could've given smaller coins for them to count all that btw!! The cashiers gave a face a put out gesture because it was change!! My response was " money is money, my debit was stolen" Refardless of my situation, that was completely uncalled for from the cashier. Like I said, I could've made it a hassle to count smaller change. I had to stop here because I was almost out of gas. I happened to have a gift card, so that was a bonus. Unfortunately, a gift card means you have to go inside. I don't care how you dress up the inside of a gas station with coffee and food and cold drinks, it's still a gas station and you still are pissed about how much gas costs. Well, my mood got worse as I had to stand and wait for the 3 people in front of me in line. One couldn't decide what lottery ticket to get! The owner swore at a customer, calling him an "f---ing idiot," when his employees were dumbfounded and unable to operate their point of sale equipment and provide a refund for merchandise that was charged to a debit card but not given to the customer because of a mysterious glitch during a thunderstorm. Proof was given to the gas station that a charge went thru but that didn't matter to the hothead owner. A $10 transaction. Unacceptable. I contacted the corporate office to complain. Roosevelt road is filled with gas stations not owned by lunatics. The customer is not always right here, they're a "f---ing idiot." True story. One star because I can't give zero. read more

Have tried three times to get a car wash here since it's a touch-less wash. I finally succeeded on the third try after a long wait. First time the wash was closed. Second time I waited in a long line only to find out the machine doesn't take cards (even though the sign says "enter code or insert cash or card"). That was the most irritating - please install a card reader! Today I bought the wash at the pump, but then when I pulled around to enter, we had to wait 15 minutes while they reloaded the chemicals. I was an employee of Glen Ellyn Standard service station(Amoco) at 524 Roosevelt Road and Main for over 17 years (starting in late 1988),and had the powers to be at BP had not closed us down and sold the land out from under my employer Al to a bank at a huge profit this station would never had come into existence. I've talked to many of our former customers from glen Ellyn over the years who have visited this station and wished we were still open so they could get the good customer service we had been providing them for decades, services that stations like this don't provide such as complete automotive repair, full service islands (fill gas, check oil and fluids, check air in tires, wash windows, etc. ) and free compressed air till the very last day(it always seemed strange to me that other stations charged customers for something as simple as air for their tires. ).But in addition we also had a car wash, and a food shop was later added for customer convenience in the late 90's.Service Stations such as G.E. Standard held a high customer service standard, and we were awarded an Amoco all-star station award nearly every year we were open. Some day hopefully stations like ours will re-emerge and customers will once again get the friendly full service they once knew of days gone by, till then this is what we get for our dollars. read more

The prices at this location are always higher then other locations only a few blocks or miles away. The prices can be up to 30 cents more a gallon at certain times. The pumps seem to be broken as well, it takes awhile for the pump to dispense it's gas as compared to other stations where the sped of the pump is quicker if that makes sense. read more
