The inside of the store is super clean and provides customers with so many options in one stop. There is a full service gas station with your typical snacks and fountain drinks, but there are also additional services that make this location unique from other gas stations. There is a small stand that offers freshly baked Cinnabon products, and they are outstanding! My friends and I split a box of 6 full sized cinnamon rolls for $14, making it under $5 for each of us to have 2 rolls. I think that's reasonable!! Also inside, there were also aisles of Michigan-related souvenirs, such as keychains, hats, sweatshirts, etc. The restrooms were clean, so that is always a "plus"! Being a person who loves a good road trip and has been to many of the states, this isn't my favorite gas station, but Loves Travel Centers definitely has a special place in my heart. While I would consider this spot average, I will continue to stop here once to twice a year when needed.

I stopped today, for some beer, because I had just put my dog down, and was heading to go bury him. So that is why I was very upset at the way I was treated by the woman who was at the counter. I couldn't find my Driver's license and so I asked if my sister could buy it, she said "no". (Why? She is of age and had her lisc.) I was just trying to say I understand because I used to worked at Wesco for 2 years. But she just kept going off, so I went outside. I found my license, came in to show it to her, and she said "I'm not going to sell it to you now because of your attitude."... now I wasn't that rude, I was distressed, however. I request that you check the surveillance video for that time. I don't want her fired, we all need to make a living. But she does need to be reminded about courtesy, and treating people with respect.. I was shaking from grief, perhaps my attitude was curt, and she didn't like me, for her own reasons. I stopped in because of a billboard I saw about 10 miles south along I-196. It said 'diesel lanes', so I knew that I could get in and out with my big rig. They are about a block east of the expressway, just past the Pilot. I took the right turn lane and it was on my immediate left. Easy in, I parked just past the fuel pumps and off to one side. Since this is new, it is relatively spotless, both inside and out. I walked in from the back door and everything was bright, modern and up to date. It was so new, I'll bet some of the food and drink items didn't even have expiration dates yet (grin)! They have limited transient parking for big rigs, maybe 10 spots in all. No showers are available. Right next to K&R Trucks, a local truck and trailer sales and service company.

Employees weren't verbally rude or anything but they weren't even "customer service" fake nice and it made me feel extremely unwelcome.
