Drop-off and parking is quick, I didn't have to deal with traffic or crazy crowds. TSA services were fairly amiable and the process to enter the terminals was seamless. I didn't have to wait long! Additionally, there's plenty of amenities for people young and old. I saw vending machines with Pokemon TCG items and other entertainment. There's two sizable gift shops with plenty of books, T-shirts, and Californian memorabilia for out-of-state guests. All stores were well-stocked and clean, I had fun browsing the shelves. One thing I enjoyed was the selection of restaurants and eateries inside. I saw a full-size Mexican restaurant and bar, brunch eatery, a Dunkin' and many name brand fast food chains. There's something for everyone here, I was never bored! If you're into airport lounges there's a place called Aspire that has a relaxing space for you to enjoy. Seats were comfortable and most boarding spots were easy to locate! Waiting areas had decent seats with great leg room. Restrooms were a bit far from waiting areas, but well-maintained. My most memorable experience at ONT airport was when a baggage claim lady helped me place a missing bag report as Houston's Frontier Airlines forgot to load my checked bag and sent over an other person's bag! The lady immediately asked for my information and my bag was quickly located. I received my bag a few days later (it was shipped to my house).

I checked my baggage, went through TSA, and arrived at my gate in 45 minutes. I can't help but wonder how many people plan to visit L.A. for the 2028 Olympics know about ONT as an alternative to LAX. ONT may not have as many shops like LAX or LGB, but it has a lot vending machines. I even found several Kabins for people to wait with privacy. What a great idea! One thing ONT needs to work on is to provide charging stations in the waiting area for passengers. Passengers should also bring a light jacket in the carry-on as A/C in the waiting area can get really cold.

The first time, a couple months ago, Alaska Airlines gave us a hard time about arriving too late. The glaring issue is I've been to many airports, including international airports, and I've never had such terrible customer service. I should be able to print my boarding pass, but for some reason they retire you to go speak to an agent. Then TSA was also horrendous and inefficient. Suck a small airport should not have these issues. LAX is more efficient, JFK is better. Palm Springs is small and better. Minneapolis is seamless. This place STINKS!! Today, we were running late. When we get to the counter, we're informed we've missed the plane and need to rebook. There were still 40 minutes with no TSA line to board. Alaska then informed us we needed to arrive 50 minutes before the flight. Nope, now we had to pay $150 to rebook/missing fought. We are now waiting 6.5 hours until the next flight because the idiots at the counter could not figure out how to get stuck a simple task done. Then the other representative was extremely rude to the family checking in an oversized bag. Nasty all spend this morning and my only other time. We learned we could not take our vehicle out since our reservation was activated. So we had the option to go to a coffee shop or chill out for a quarter of the day since the employee needed to get $150 out of us. Shameless!! Fck this airport.

I'm not like that anymore (; . An FBO is where many individually owned aircraft's stop to re-fuel (gas) or refuel (Coffee and Tea, etc.). They always have a plane mechanic shop on the premises lest you pop a tire and actually landed, or for maintenance. It is actually so huge and everything is so interesting. There is a much longer wait time at this airport because of the amount of planes landing and so many are waiting for confirmation for which departure lane, constantly talking in code to the "Woman in the Tower". The air traffic control center. I love waiting anyway because I get to steer with the pedals. It's just fun.

Terminal 4 is no stranger to me as it is where Southwest and American Airlines are based. I fly Southwest more than I fly American. My eldest daughter and I flew out of this terminal to start our Midwest Route 66 trip this past June 2026. TSA check-in process was fast, smooth, and stress-free. Staff was professional and friendly. Terminal waiting areas were very clean and well kept. Restrooms were spotless and well stocked. A good selection of quick-bite and full menu eateries and various vending machines. Einstein Bros. Bagels and Chick-fil-A are my go-tos. I have yet to use one of the vending machines. Maybe one day I will check them out just for kicks. Charging ports are available throughout the terminal for customer use which is always appreciated. Thank you! Daily parking at Lot 5 & 6 may be the most budget-friendly. It's a short walk to Terminal 4. Other lots may be closer, but they cost a bit more due to its location convenience. Free airport shuttles do come by each lot for pick-up and drop-off. If you're good on time, just wait for the shuttle. If you're in a hurry, I would suggest you walk or run as it may be faster. ONT will always be my go-to international airport! Thank you ONT!! The plane itself was in poor condition with worn seats, broken items in restroom. Flight crew and customer service over the phone were incredibly rude. What a nickle & dime circus. Even when you pay extra to pick a specific seat, they move you to a different seat and refuse to give any explanation or modify. If I wanted to be seated in the center seat between two extremely large men why would I have pre-booked all window seats? Why would Southwest take it upon themselves to move me from my designated flight, and force me to spend the night somewhere (when I was only supposed to change planes) then take another flight the next morning? My pre-booked flight was still there. And I was able to get back on but not in the seat I originally reserved and paid for. There was no reason to move me and cause the seat issue as well as the delay in getting added back onto a flight I was already booked on! When you speak to customer service, they "apologize for the inconvenience" and offer an voucher. lol Who in their right mind would ever fly on Southwest again? I would rather walk to my next destination than fly on Southwest. What a sad excuse for an airline and for customer service.

Not sure whether parking needs validation. The ticket has a spot that says "STICKER HERE", but I asked the attendant. He said parking's free the 1st 30min.
