1.) I was overcharged by $10. Minor error and understandable. The office staff were easily able to fix this, but I still had to drive over to get my money. 2.) The medications that Dr. Singman prescribed to me ended up being too strong and actually exacerbated the outbreak I had. Each day the outbreak got worse and worse, and I couldn't understand why. Dr. Carmen Garcia in Hackensack told me the prescriptions I was using were too strong. She told me to stop using them and gave me different medications. 3.)Dr. Singman also recommended that I take the culture myself to Labcorp across the street. Went to Dr. Singman in Fairlawn practice for very specific testing. I made this clear when I scheduled the appointment. Dr. Singman was dressed down very casual in jeans and.m shirt with no lab coat or anything. His receptionist was extremely pushy wanting "cash only" deductible payment before the appointment. Dr. Singman seemed smart but extremely rude. He diagnosed me with what was a very obvious condition and then refused to run the simple blood tests which I scheduled the appointment for. He did take a biopsy. I don't remember him wearing gloves or offering anesthetic for the punch cut and stitched me up poorly resulting in a scar. Turns out, he didn't run the specialized test on the biopsy that I requested either but rather a generic test which was of little value when I got the automated results from the lab. The Dr. himself never followed up even though these generic results came back abnormal. He gave me prescriptions for OTC items and one RX for a steroid cream that I had already told him did not work previously. He wanted me to come back for repeated visits (and pay additional cash payments). When I eventually paid the cash deductible, the secretary didn't want to give me a receipt. Good bedside manner. I was in and out of the appointment in under 30 minutes. Dr. Singman knew what I needed to do, and asked for me to follow up with an update after I tried out the treatment. I've seen reviews about the receptionist being rude - I admit she's not the friendliest but she kept it short, which I appreciated. read more

Dr. Singman was fantastic! My mom has been going to him for years, though I had never been. When I needed an emergency appointment, his office accommodated me within a half hour! You rarely hear of such a thing nowadays! We arrived and waited all of five minutes before seeing the doctor. Dr. Singman was really great. He listened to me, examined my "issue" (a small rash near my fistula access site), and ran a culture "just to be safe." In his expertise, the rash was nothing to be concerned about, but he gave me a prescription for a topical cortisone cream, again, "just to be safe." We actually made the appointment and had the appointment within one hour. Incredible! I have been to many dermatologists over the years, and I hav to say that I honestly think Dr. Singman was the best, both in terms of his knowledge and manner, as well as his office and its staff. No, the office isn't "fancy," and Dr. Singman will not try to sell you extraneous beauty procedures and products, but if you are searching for a good, solid, quality dermatologist, he's your man! read more

I have been going to Dr. Singman for many years. He doesn't overbook, so there is very little waiting time. He is extremely gentle and talks you through every procedure. I think he is the BEST and would highly recommend him! He has recently moved to a new location in Fair Lawn that is very nice and also has plenty of parking. read more

I have been treating with Dr. Singman for years. His new office is lovely and his staff is caring and efficient. He has Saturday morning hours which are super convenient. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for any scheduled appointment which is a rarity. Dr. Singman has always been very thorough. He takes time to explain the procedure he is about to do and makes you feel very comfortable. I don't think I have ever once flinched - he has an extremely gentle touch. Dr. Is smart guy, however, he has all his prescription pre-printed, depending on your issue, he picks one and handed to you. He spent no more than 3minutes with you, just hello and nothing else. The worse part of this office is the team of clerk who think they own the business and treat the patients like a piece of ...! I guess, they know how the boss treat the patients. Horrible service. The secretary or receptionist has no customer service skills at all. Was not interested in retaining business and helping me out as a patient and customer. she decided to just be rude. Her attitude was wrong from the beginning of my interaction. She closed her slider window in my face and had no courtesy whatsoever. Sorry but if you allow your staff to treat people and specially new patients like this, I can only assume I will get treated the same. Never recommending anyone there. read more

Just went to Dr Brad for treatment on my face and a spot on my leg. Took care of me nicely and removed dead skin and spot. He is always very pleasant and professional. Been going to him for years now Very nice office and a great location. A true professional. Made me feel good about the spot on face. All is good. read more

I've seen the reviews. This was my experience with Dr. Singman: I called late yesterday and told him I was suffering with my condition.My regular Dr. misdiagnosed me and was unable to give me a correct diagnosis, returning to him after the first incorrect diagnosis. Even though he had a busy schedule, Dr. Singman came in for me early this morning, especially to take care of me and look at my problem. He saw what the issue was immediately, gave me prescriptions and advise on how to take of myself and get better. Such a shame because the doctor himself seems like a decent man but I don't know how he is still in business with a receptionist that acts as if it is her practice and could care less if anyone comes in or comes back. What I fault the doctor for is that he seems to not give two shi*s if anyone comes back. They just moved locations and there wasn't any clear sign on the old location stating what the new address was. Now good luck finding this place since they don't like to answer their phones. Regardless, I made it in and walked to the receptionist who did not make eye contact with me but continued talking to Brad(the doctor) who was filling up syringes with some type of fluid right at the front desk. Still no eye contact but she finally spoke and told me to have a seat with possibly the worst attitude. This girl is absolutely disgusting and her attitude is even worse. Shame on him and shame on her. I will be looking for another dermatologist after this appointment but it is truly a shame because they are right around the corner from me. I have been to him probably five or six times and it's always the same thing with the receptionist. I try my best to be cheerful thinking perhaps her life really sucks that bad but it doesn't work. I really can't believe they are as busy as they are. I give them two stars even though I believe they deserve one star.
