We sent him an email with several questions, and specified things we were not going to spend money pursuing. His email response was telling us to to do things we didn't want to do. He admitted he did not read our email before he responded but he now understood our concerns, though he billed us for it he response anyway. The second email from him listed several things that would have cost more than what the neighbor was asking us to pay them. Two useless emails that we were charged for. $1,000 completely wasted. When we questioned the charges, we were basically told - nothing was wrong just pay the bill.

I was in dire need of an attorney to deal with a rental situation and so I called Kevin Ehlers…read moresince he's listed as the only "CO Landlord Tenant Lawyer" in my county. I called during regular weekday business hours but had to leave a message. I left a short message saying I was dealing with a rental situation and would he please call me back as soon as possible. I never got a return call. This is the kind of stuff that gives lawyers bad names, hanging out people in need to dry.
