Had the dogs in the car for hours and it was time to let them out, Discovered this park was right around the corner, so we headed there and it's lovely. Geese were laying in the field, the lake was quiet, kids and their parents were playing in the playground, and people were sitting out in the pergola with picnic benches, enjoying the last days of summer. We walked the loop and the dogs go to sniff and pee to their hearts' content. The only reason why they lost a star ws because of the large amount of goose poop and the kids screaming in the playground kinda got to me, which is not the park's fault, but it's also part of my experience, so know that if you want to visit. read more

My family and I love coming to this park to walk or ride our bikes on the paved loop trail. The playground for kids is nice as well and always a fun time. There are restrooms and picnic tables throughout this park. Nice open fields of grass, but there is geese poop everywhere so you can't really enjoy that part. The parking lot has a lot of spaces and there's an overflow lot across the street. Overall: nice park and my kids love to come here. read more

A great park with large open fields including amazing paths overlooking Bradley Lake and a lovely housing development of the same name just adjacent. I was able to walk through as well as alongside the park nearby where I stay when in the area and it was a bit busier here than the other local park as it was a pretty slightly rainy nice day with a smidge of sun. Saw a long line of runners possibly training via track and/or ROTC as they appeared about that high school age as well as a few families enjoying the day near the covered picnic areas. The cool thing about Bradley Lake aside from the beauty is it's massive and spread out so even when pedestrian heavy it doesn't feel like it... That often. Awesome for families (multiple playgrounds), wonderful for teens and adults who enjoy that park life a nice soccer, baseball or football game with plenty of nature and local wildlife to take in. Dog/pet friendly for sure! If not for the sudden heavier, though completely NOT unexpected drops of water from the sky I would've ventured inward more and gotten some pics of this lovely place... Also didn't want to cut through the run training that seemed to be going great. All park and all play make Jack a fun boy. read more

This park has the best walking trail loop and is very well manicured. My biggest frustration is that it is always packed and some people don't pick up their dog poop which is so damn annoying. Speaking of poop... the geese go all throughout the grass here. This is the lake that my youngest caught his first fish on, I highly recommend for fishing with youngsters. read more

I've taken my kids to Bradley Lake Park a couple times now, and we love it! Even better that it's a short drive from our house. There's ball fields here and an ample parking lot. Bathrooms as well, and covered picnic seating. On top of that, they've got a pretty good sized playground with two separate play areas! Another great part of this park is all the space there is to walk. Nice paved paths and of course, the lake! It's always fun to stop and watch the ducks, which my kids love. It does get pretty busy here for sure, but that's to be expected since it's in a rather residential area. Definitely going to be one of our regular spots, we love it here! read more

I was never aware of this gem in the middle of South Hill in Puyallup. Where have I been. Spent some time here walking between my courses at Pierce and it is lovely. I hear the police make sure the vagrants are moved a bit, so as not to create an uneasy atmosphere. Kids on the equipment, people sunning and loving the ease of the day. Nice area to walk, to take pictures and to have a picnic and the swing on the opposite side of the lake is fabulous! A lunch time break in nature, priceless. read more

Bradley Lake Park is a nice lake and trail tucked away in Puyallup even with the busy Meridian Ave a street over. Bradley Lake Park is fairly decent size lake with a nice trail around it. The water doesn't look that nice and I rarely see people swim there. There are large grass areas for dogs to roam and families to have picnics. There are playground for kids too. I love everything about this park, but all the geese that are around! So much geese poop that you have to be careful where to walk and to stay clear of their path too! The lake is a good place to catch fish. Though the fishes there are quite small. I actually caught my first fish here so it hold a special place in my heart. read more

It has everything you'd need to relax by the water, a nice little trail to get in a few steps, lots of green field to throw a football around, baseball/softball field, and two playgrounds that the kids really like; however, the geese poop everywhere makes it unenjoyable. Not gonna play on the nice open fields bc there's poop everywhere, not gonna walk by the water, bc there's poop everywhere.. This place is dangerous. If you leave anything in your car or not, they're going to break in your car you will have damage to your car if you Parkette here and leave it alone there's a lot of tweakers and a lot of homeless that are going to get into your stuff do not recommend coming here. read more

This is such a popular park, and I do like the trail around it. While the playground is huge and has lots of options, I find it difficult to navigate as a parent. For instance, the smaller toddler playground only has one way for parents to get to the other side. By the time you trek around to the back side of it, your child has likely moved on to another part. The layout just bothers me. That said, it is nice and its always packed. Beware of the copious amounts of goose poop if you have littles who will be crawling or touching the ground anywhere other than the playground. The really bad? The bathrooms are disgusting every time Ive been in them. Like seriously, freaking unusable. read more

I love that Puyallup has a bunch of different parks to choose from, so you can mix things up with your little ones. This place was wonderful, busy for a Sunday, but wonderful. They have two different play toys for the different age groups. A TON of open fields where you can just sit to have a picnic, play sports, or just lay around. They have a lake available where you can fish from the shore (no boats allowed). Theres also a trail that you can walk that goes around the whole thing. It's a short walk, my 6 year old & i did it without any complaints. Lots of geese running around, we even ran into some babies! SO CUTE! Nice little sunny day location for the family. Minus the GOOSE poop... I like Bradley Lake Park. I don't like driving so far.. from up meridian.. especially with a big dog in tow. She gets antsy but I don't really know where else I can take her. I usually just walk her around the neighborhood without driving at all.. but I plan on taking her more often to Bradley, she seemed to like it a lot. read more

We love this park! The walk around the lake is just right for a nice stroll for the whole family without anyone getting pooped! We saw so many different animals (turtles, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, fish etc) and the scenery is gorgeous! There are two playgrounds right next to each other that offer lots of different activities and play things. One for older kids on for younger tikes. There's a pa walking path, walking trails, HUGE open fields, two baseball fields and covered area plus random benches and tables throughout the park. So many things to do! This is a lovely and beautiful park. The kid play area has lots of variety for kids of all ages. Plenty of shade to sit and the grass is clean and soft. You can walk around the whole lake and enjoy views of unique looking trees. They have water fountains and even for your pumps which are nice. Watch out for geese though. The park was very nice for being so close to an industrial shopping area. It has a nice walking area and lake to sit by. The grass had a lot of droppings from birds and some dogs that the owners did not pick up. The play areas were nice and clean and the kids seemed to be having a wonderful time. There was a food truck festival when we visited and there were some reptile tents set up and we got to see mature tortoises and little baby ones too, we didn't go in the snake tent but other people said it was pretty neat to see. overall, a very nice park, I would return when there is not an event to get a better experience. read more

I grew up in Puyallup right around the corner from what is currently a city park. The property used to be a farm. I spent much of my time after school on the adjoining property that is now a housing development. It was a wealth of space for imaginitve play, the best of all fort building and hide & seek. I was disappointed when the area was sold and demolished. Mr. Bradley wanted to ensure his land was not torn down, but was used for a park and upon his death it was offered to the City of Puyallup for purchase. Thankfully a bond measure was passed to purchase it and it has become a nice centerpiece for South Hill. The family house and barn (I think its still there) still exist on the property and I believe remaining family are caretakers now. There is a woman who rides around at dusk and clears the park. The city installed a walking/biking path around the entire lake and have posted mile markers so you can keep track of your distance. There have been upgrades in the past few years to include restrooms, a playground, picnic areas and a fishing dock. Each year it is stocked with trout and they hold an annual kids fishing derby. But be sure to arrive early or you may not find a spot on the shoreline to throw in your hook. It is a well attended event. Many local residents relax after work by taking the dog for a walk or letting the kids burn off some energy at the playground. The only downside has been the geese droppings everywhere. I haven't visited in over a year though, so I don't know if this has changed. Make this a pitstop on your trip through Puyallup, or if you live here, don't miss out on utilizing the amenities! read more

BEAUTIFUL trail for running/walking/biking, although, being that it's heavily wooded... don't go alone. I mean. It IS Puyallup, and you're probably safe... but I just feel like it's ASKING to be a top story on the 11 o'clock news. It's literally all I think about if I brave it by myself. I try not to ever go alone... you just never know. And, now that I sound like a total paranoid psycho, I shall finish my review. Beautiful park, beautiful trails, awesome spots for BBQs and picnics. Lots of goose/duck poop, which is gross... but honestly, you can't beat the LARP'ers on a nice Saturday morning. I could base my review entirely off the LARP'ing alone. OH - and 9 times out of 10 - parking SUCKS. read more

This is a gorgeous park. It is very well maintained, has a 0.8 mile paved loop around the lake, and is pet friendly. Just remember to pick up after your critters, and keep them leashed! Lots of grassy area for families to play, covered party/function area with picnic tables, baseball diamond, and a large big-toy area for the kids. This lake is not for swimming, but you can fish to your heart's content. Also, small non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake. The covered picnic table area needs to be reserved, especially on the weekends. So be sure to call ahead if you plan on using it. I believe it's though Puyallup parks and recreation. read more
