There's nothing else in this little railroad town.... Just a couple [cool] rummage stores, a city hall, a post office, and now this grocery. I don't know if I'd call it a grocery, though. It's more like a mom & pop convenience shop. On the crowded shelves I noticed packaged foods, light bulbs, a freezer of drinks, confederate flags, doorknobs, kitchen trinkets, bandaids, and a whole assortment of the kind of stuff you'd find in a drugstore, but a much smaller selection of it. In the back are a couple tables and up front you can order pizza! They serve Hunt Brothers pizza, which seems popular at the local 'groceries'. You can call ahead and pick it up or order and wait while you're there. Although this store doesn't have everything, it is sooooo much more convenient to swing by here and pick up some milk or paper towels than having to drive out to Cynthiana or Georgetown. Which, I believe, is the purpose of this place. Yay!

What I have just realized is that this company doesn't seem to care about allergies or honoring their return policy. I bought a Neutrogena face wash on March 1st, 2021. I used it ONE time and had a major reaction on my face. At first I was told that it wasn't within the 14 day window to bring it back. So I asked Kitty to just throw it away for me. Then I got to thinking and realized today would be the 14th day and decided I needed to talk to the manager. I spoke with Joe about it and he was sorry I had a reaction; but because I had opened it, he could not return it even though it was within their 14 day policy. Sure it was only $8.49; but still. This is a local grocery store that my husband and I frequently buy from. I almost NEVER return things. But this one time I did, and I got turned away. And never once did I see anything about that on their return policy. Attached is their policy that i had found. For a lot of good this company does, I'm upset that there isn't a clarified response on this; but I wanted to warn others before they decide to buy hygiene items from Kroger.

It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

The parking lot has more than adequate parking the store is very well organized by category and easy to find your selections. Even though you do have to deposit a quarter for a cart here a lot of times people and do the good pay it forward move and leave a cart free for you to use hoping that you will do the right thing and pay it forward in the future. yes the selections can be small and you will not find a bunch of the brands that used to seeing at some of the big box stores but the money you save shopping at this location will more than make up for the lack of brands this place is perfect if you are trying to pick out certain grocery items regardless of what brand they are I will continue to shop here and gratefully pay a quarter to use the card and I will definitely be happy to bag my own groceries here

The macaroni and cheese was good, but honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the BBQ. We've tried BBQ all over the Louisville area, and B & N Food Market is now our favorite. Please don't become Wal-mart, because that is why I stopped going there two years ago.
