If you're looking for a butcher shop that both makes all of its own products in-house and always has a variety of products (of which varies from visit to visit), this is your place. They might have pork, lamb, or beef in any sort of cut (rump roast, sirloin steak, "neck slices", filets, bacon, varietal sausages and beef sticks, etc etc etc) and there's no telling what you're going to find here at any certain time. However, since students are making the product, it's usually quite inexpensive and always of good quality. Plus, all the meat is local, which always tastes better I don't care what anyone say. The bad news is that it's hard to find, the hours are extremely limited, and it's first-come-first-serve. Shop at your own risk, or just let me keep this place to myself.

The aisles and shelves are very organized and things are grouped in such a manner that it makes items easier to locate. Although they did have Thai Basil in stock, it was old and of poor quality so I did not purchase it. Quite a bit of the produce was not in the best shape. I did however purchase a non-produce item. The staff member at the cash register was very kind, interacted with genuine consideration of the young children whom were with me, answering several of their questions. For $4.10, the salads hold a personal record for me, the largest salad for the cheapest price that I've ever paid. The chef salad: lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, ham and turkey. The meat was cold cuts, but they were deli meats. The kind of deli meat that they sell there by the pound. The next time, I asked for chicken salad instead of the deli meat, but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken salad. I also bought a pound of pimento cheese. It was fantastic! It did have several leaves which would have to be discarded, but I needed this item and this was the second store I visited for this item, so I decided to purchase it as is. Overall, with the lack of good customer service, the high produce price, and the poor quality of the produce, I will not be returning to this store.
