While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. I explained that we were getting a few estimates but I'd let him know either way. Darin's bid was the least expensive by $10,000....all of this without skipping on quality. A large section of one fascia needed replacing (I brought this to his attention before he even looked ant the roof for the estimate) and asked if he could replace it. He quickly obliged and charged a more than fair price. Darin also pointed out a few necessary repairs but these are things his company does not do...he just wanted To let her know. My mom has already gotten compliments on the roof. Lastly I want to mention how kind Darin was to my mom. She is hearing impaired and uses a transcriber.
