I would recommend Ace construction to replace your damaged roof. Ace replaced my hail damaged roof, gutters, downspouts and 35 screens. I have a 6500 square ft home with a very steep massive roof with numerous dormers. Ace removed and replaced not only the roof, but all gutters and downspouts and screens that were damaged. They showed up when they said they would and did a marvelous job. They not only do quality work they left the place spotless. I could not find a single nail or shingle left behind. In Good faith, based on our experience and previous complaints noted, ACE Home Construction merits investigation. Ace is misleading customers as well as the insurance companies. There are several areas where integrity of this company is seriously in question. They go house-to-house stating that there's been hail damage done to people's roof. They file a claim to the insurance under false pretense. Once the estimate is approved the insurance come they come to your home promise your deductible at the end will be returned to you by us as an incentive. Once they realize the money is secure they come to you and present the numbers making it look like they're actually going to give you money at the end. When Duke, the owner of the company, sat down with us back in August of 2020, to go over the coverages his numbers were not adding up which led us to question their integrity. He mislead us 2 make it look like we would be getting some money back but I came to realize from the very first meeting that their numbers weren't adding up. Due to this Integrity issue we chose not to deal with them. Duke at NO POINT explained to us a disclosure to cancel a contract. the day we met with him he agreed to release the claim come to find he wasn't going to release it. We hand-delivered in person the letter the insurance needed to release the claim. We chose to part ways and select someone else to do our roof. We had the work completed September 20th 2020 paid out this other company out of our pocket and now due to Ace not wanting to release the claim are out a little over $5,000. All our homeowners insurance needs is for Ace to Simply release the claim. After further investigating, my husband's signature was forged the public adjuster/president stated he was there to go over the contract but never was, he signed it as if he was knowing that he was not there the date of June 12th 2020 the only person that was there was a sales representative by the name of Jane. Ace Home Construction is a very professional and reliable company in this business. I bought my first house in my life in 2018. After 3 years our roof had been getting old and it was high time to be remodeled. In the spring of 2021, hail damage to our roof had occurred but we didn't know how it was serious. AHC recommended us to get our roof investigated by the insurance company. With AHC's assistance, our roof got investigated by the house insurance company and got the approval to replace not only roof but also siding and gutters. After the approval on the replacement, AHC made a schedule to replace them and it was performed on time professionally as scheduled. During the work, all workers were very kind and skilled. Moreover, AHC explained us all the questioned we asked in details in a friendly spirit. The quality of material used was also excellent. AHC replaced our old small gutters into bigger new ones. Ace Home Construction is a very mendacious company. 2 very nice and polite people came to my mother's house, uninvited, stating that we had considerable hail damage to our roof due to inclement weather.  During their sales pitch they even showed us a receipt for work they did for our close family friend who lives just down the street. Aside from questioning the legality of showing another customer's receipt, with their name and address clearly stated, I wondered if this friend would appreciate this disclosure of their private information.  When the VP of the company came  to sign the contract and explain everything, my mother asked about the new gutters they were going to install. She told him how she had been talking to different contractors, including Leaf Guard, about protecting her gutters from  leaves and other debris. He stated that they, as a part of their service, would install some kind of protection in the gutters.  AHC began and finished the work in a timely manner, however, they didn't install any kind of screen in the gutters. When my mother complained and said that it was promised beforehand, the VP stated that screening is never a part of their basic service. He said he could have his men do the work but there would be an extra charge and,  therefore, reduce the amount of reimbursement we were eligible for from AHC.  I dismissed this issue  as simply a misunderstanding, however, my mother(who is the homeowner) is still unhappy about what she perceives as a broken promise concerning the gutter protection. Now, for the real duplicity and double-dealing. After the work was completed AHC phoned my mother at work and said they were going to come by the house to pick up the insurance payment. The person identified herself as the office manager and my mother asked about the reimbursement AHC had promised,  she said she didn't know anything about that. My mother then said she would only give the insurance payment, a very large amount of money, directly to the VP since it was he who had been present when the contract was signed and made all the promises concerning gutters and reimbursement. Another AHC employee came by the house at 4 p.m. and told my wife that she had spoken with me on the phone in the morning, she didn't realize I was home at the time, and I had agreed to leave the check for AHC.  When I came downstairs she quickly changed her story and said somebody from the office, she doesn't know if it was a man or a woman, spoke to my mom to pick up the check at 4pm. I told her all of this was a lie and my mother would only give the check to the VP. He came by later and I told him about all this lying and he said he didn't know why she lied and he'll have to talk to her about it. What he really meant was: he tells all of his subordinates to say anything, even a ridiculous lie, to obtain the payment so they can "get out of Dodge" before the client has realized they have been cheated. Even a 17 year old boy can tell more intelligent, consistent lies than AHC.  Given their deceitful ways,  it makes me question the quality of their roof workmanship. Mr. Sung Kim and Mrs. Rea came to our house for possible hail damages done to our roof. I usually turn away door to door sales but this time my wife answered and asked me to chat with them about the roof. The moment I met them I could tell they were nice people to do a business with. They have explained me that a hail storm was in my area and would like to inspect the roof to see if my insurance would cover the replacement costs. They also explained me the whole process step by step and what to expect. They have in-house adjusters and a construction company to promise the whole process would go smooth once approved by the insurance company. Vice president from ACE construction company came out to meet our insurance company's adjuster and he must have explained the issues/damages very well to the adjuster that our insurance claim was approved within 2 hours of the inspection (2 hours!) for the full amount including whole gutters and window frames! I hear people waiting for an insurance approval for months and some get their claims rejected. I was expecting to wait but it was not the case. Mr. Kim and Rea brought actual pieces of roof samples so that we could the quality of actual roof material and colors. They were great quality with 15 years warranty. After that they have taken care of the permits and the process to arrange the actual work was smooth. Even though we had to postpone a work day due to a schedule conflict, Mr. Kim and Rea were always on the top to let us know about the delay so we did not have to worry about a thing. After completion of the roof and gutter works, we noticed that the gutters were not pitched enough for water to flow good. Mr. Kim followed up and the gutter company came out to correct the issue. We have seen companies not responding to our requests/satisfactions once they get paid but they were different. They will take care of you and we have recommended ACE to our neighbors needing roof works due to hail/storm damages because of them.
