CRC did a complete roof replacement which included removal of the old roof, adding edge flashing and chimney flashing. In addition they vented bathroom vents through the roof which had previously been vented in the attic. The installation team is exceptional, have worked together for years and very efficient. The job site was cleaned up after each day. Project supervisors were there each day to attend to installation details. Sarah, our representative was excellent and was there each day during the installation. She explained all the available services and there were no billing surprises at completion. I was repeatedly left off the maintenance schedule despite proactively submitting signed contract and following up multiple times. It's very difficult to get a timely response as they are all "very busy" as that is somehow an excuse to ignore paying customers. I feel like I had to beg them to let me give them my money. Our cedar shake was badly in need of replacement. Keith MacNaught was fantastic! He not came out quickly to look at our house, he provided a quote within days. Once we signed the contract, his promise date was exactly when they came. They staged all of the materials a day or two in advance and brought a crew that worked FULL days everyday and completed the project within a week...in fact, I asked Keith about doing a porch roof repair halfway in and he not only replied, he had a crew come on the last couple of days to replace it!!! That's some kind of service. They brought their own Porta-potty and completely cleaned up as if they were never there (although the new roof was a give away). Great results although the process was a little bumpy but I would definitely work with Cedar again. I had a copper roof installed above a bay window ( 2- 3 day project ) The sales process was clean and pricing was most competitive. The only issue was that the sales representative didn't set expectations properly with respect to scheduling. When I confronted him about it, he was a little defensive but understood. I had little tolerance for weather explanations after 4-5 months of waiting. The issue was that from the time when they said they would schedule and the reality was several months. Each time I called it was explained that I was just about next up. Then winter hit and the further out things went, I was concerned they had my deposit and reached out again. Once again, I was told it was coming up and then weather hit and resulted in delay. I understand the process but I couldn't help feel like I was being pushed off for other projects, which might not have been the case but after 4 months it was difficult to maintain a calm perspective and felt like I had to resort to the "squeaky wheel" tactic. Billing was spot on and smooth. Again, I would use them again but this time handle communication better. I have follow-up work and will be calling them but this time it is less time critical. I do also agree that CRC does care about the customer as Sandy B has posted. read more

We initially had CRC do some gutter work for us and were so impressed that we had Keith quote to replace our 20+ year old cedar roof. We had met with several other roofing companies as I am very research oriented I discovered that most were about the same price, however on cedar roofs the thicker the better unlike asphalt which is all the same thickness many of the other competitors were quoting the same price putting a thinner lower quality shingle on. In addition half the vendors did not even call us back or again offered us less quality and warranty on their installation. Cedar roofing is an outstanding company to work with.    Over the past few years we've been dealing with a persistent leak in our garage roof. Previous contractors that we hired have been baffled as to the mysterious source of the leak. With each passing month our frustration grew. Thankfully, a friend recommended Cedar Roofing. They have been extremely professional showing a dedication that is not common among all contractors. In the end, it was determined that although the water was settling in one spot it was seeping in from a couple of different sources. Called Cedar Roofing to fix a leak in my roof 10/17. They came out, charged me $460 to fix nail pops and add an ice shield. When the weather warmed in March, we had a rain storm and the leak appeared again. I called them in April and explained that the leak issue was still going on. They said they have NO warranty on their repairs and would charge me a service call to come out to analyze the problem. I explained that I paid them already to fix the problem and the problem still exists. It was not even 6 months later! Asked a manager to call me back and received the same narrative. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They DO NOT stand behind their work! read more

We interviewed 2 other companies that were recommended by our neighbors but they were more expensive. I reviewed all 3 and all recommended the same work be done. CRC showed up on time and did an excellent job. The site manager reviewed the work and had the team come back and improve the shake coverage in one of the blind valleys. I also asked that they look at some areas of the siding that looked damaged and they sent out a carpenter to repair those areas. read more

They were extremely helpful initially, until they found out that I had competing bids that were substancially below their price. Then they were demeaning to the other vendor and became rather rude. I believe it is because they are heavily commissioned and they have a large overhead. I had two homes for them to do but am happy I went another direction. read more
