Joe got into the car, it didn't start (note: ignition problem was draining the battery, dah!). He immediately said, "Oh, you need a new battery." He never bothered to check the cells. Told me to leave it, called me later, informed me that the car was ready and the bill for the new battery and installation was $ 190.00. No "paperwork" on the battery and no warranty. WTF? Business must be bad to need to rip off a good customer. Guaranteed, that was the last money he ever will get from me.

I asked Jack about having work done on a scrape on my front bumper that was not related to the accident. I asked him about prices about for a part for the front bumper, and if it was possible for me to bring in the OEM part from the dealership on my own. As soon as I said that, he replied "Do you bring your own cheeseburger to McDonald's?". Instead of calmly answering my questions, he stated yelling at me and was extremely rude and profane. It seems like as soon as you raise any concerns with this shop, they get hostile and start yelling at you. This is absolutely no way to treat customers, no matter the price or the quality of the work. Don't know if I would recommend this shop in the future because god forbid they don't like something you say and they start yelling at you too. UPDATE 6/29: Just received a call saying to pick up my car. The associate on the phone said "We don't do jobs for customers who leave scathing google reviews". This is the most unprofessional, and discriminatory shop I've ever dealt with. DO NOT GO HERE, you will be slave to their questionable business practices and when you begin to ask questions, they verbally harass you and then refuse to work on your car. Instead of listening and caring for their customers, they bully them around and expect a thank you in return. UPDATE #2 6/29: Another bodyshop called Classic to let them know they would be transferring the vehicle tomorrow. The associate on the phone immediately started yelling at the lady from the other bodyshop and told her "I'm gonna leave his car parked in the street with his windows down and the keys in the ignition!". I'm shocked at this point that Classic is frankly still in business and that customers tolerate this kind of treatment from a business owner. Definitely looping in BBB, and also Audi of America to let them know what kind of business they are partnering with.

Most people probably learn about them by word of mouth, as I did when I first moved to Delaware County. Mr. Rossano is a laconic, no-nonsense, plain-spoken guy-- no slickness or smooth talking-- who really cares about cars. At times I've been a little embarrassed to tell him about the latest thing I've done to my poor car, because he seems almost offended on its behalf. But I overcome my qualms and tell him, because he's great. His prices are low, and he's fair and honest. He doesn't fix anything that doesn't need fixing-- there have been several occasions when I've thought the problem was something expensive, and he's told me it was actually something much cheaper. My old car lived about 18 months beyond its life expectancy, for which I credit the guys at Rossano's. On its last visit there, they spent many hours trying to fix a problem that wouldn't be fixed, and then charged me an unbelievable small amount for their trouble. Also, the shop is kind of a neat place to visit (once you find it-- it's kind of out of the way). It's tiny, but it has more personality than most mechanics' shops I've been to. Instead of Lukoil ads on the walls, there are lots of old photographs and vintage ads and lots of horse-related things. I asked about the horse stuff once, and Rossano told me he and his wife have a horse farm. Busy guy. Kind of a great combination of interests.

I bought a brand new GMC truck from them in 2018 and when it almost caught fire from a rear window defrost electrical short (that shattered my rear window and put my daughter in harm's way), I reached out to my "Bergey Family" and they say "sorry, but there aren't any open recalls so there's nothing we can do." Some family! Don't believe all their nonsense. Just another dealership that cares about their bottom line and nothing else.

Terry worked with my credit union and basically applied for my loan for me, I didn't do a thing. and when I picked up my vehicle I found that the loan APR was a full point lower than quoted... NICE !
