Assistant Manager CJ was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there. They take the time to explain you different tire options, speed ratings, tread types etc. Not only did they not try to up sell me, but they told me about a near identical tire that was on sale and saved me a lot of money over just replacing with the same tires that I had. They also did not try to sell my any extra services, and just explained services they would be happy to do for me, but were not urgent. This originations reputation is as good as it's service, great honest work. After I delivered my vehicle to Chapman Chrysler Dodge & Jeep for service, their advice was to replace my drive shaft for a new one. For whatever reason, my warranty company would not replace it because they said I must have tampered with it. I had no idea what Chapman nor the warranty company was speaking about. I've never even replaced the oil in the car by myself. The service writer at Chapman also exclaimed, "you must have over torque the draft shaft." Listen, I have no business trying to repair anything underneath a vehicle. The entire situation seem fishy to me, especially since I brought the car to Chapman in February for my heater to be replaced. So, I traveled back to Chapman, pickup up my vehicle, and arrived to Fitzgerald's for a second opinion. 24 hours later, the technician repair my driver shaft with a kit of some sort. The cost of doing so was about a 10th of what Chapman wanted to gouged me with. I am never going back to Chapman and offering Fitzgerald's five stars for their work. Ken and Glenn were the service advisors who kept me in the loop and afforded exemplary service. Kevin, the technician diagnosed the problem after driving my vehicle for 10 minutes. read more

He was friendly enough but still somebody like that should have probably been home for the afternoon. He called himself the Fitzgerald's money maker because of his face. I went to a different shop originally to see about my leaking tire (for convenience sake) and was told (after an hour and a half) that I needed to replace the tire and that I should also replace the other one so it was going to cost just under $400. I decided to get a second opinion at Fitzgerald's since I have used them before and liked my experience. I waited around for 20 minutes and then was told it was fixed! I have been here once and got excellent service. They can fix any problem in any car. highly recommended. Here are pros and cons: Pros: 1. Very professional staff. No messing around. They tell you as it is. 2. Got my prior approval before starting the repairs (after they figured out the exact problem). Cons: 1. They are VERY VERY busy. Appointments needed way in advance. (like 2-5 days). Dont even think of oil-change...they may do that stuff, but you will have to wait like 2 days to get it done!! (unless you got an appointment, then maybe...) On the contrary, being a busy place means they are good at what they do. 2. Seems like their working hours are slightly shorter than comparable businesses. Overall, an excellent place for auto repair. Many of my colleagues use them. BTW, if you didnt notice already, today is "auto-repair day" on Yelp for me. I got my oil change and decided to review all the auto - repair places I have been to in this neighbourhood. Hey, I gave 3 of 4 positive reviews. I've been going to Fitzgerald's for almost 10 years now. I'll be completely honest about how I first tried it. I was a young, single woman, newly on my own and didn't have my father or a boyfriend to take care of my car for me. So, I looked for a clean, busy, big garage - and I found Fitzgerald's. They've helped me with everything from oil changes to tires, a new transmission mount and a broken air conditioner blower. They always use genuine Honda parts for my Honda - no aftermarket junk - and the prices are very fair. Mechanics have a reputation for ripping people off, and, honestly, I wouldn't know if I were paying too much, but my husband worked in a garage in college and has also been impressed with Fitzgerald's. One piece of advice - they are busy, so don't waste your time -- call for an appointment and drop off your car. It'll be worth it. read more

Why do the car gods detest me? Why is it that when you need a tire, all of the other tires decide that they will miss their friend and commit a sucide pact? All four tires at once. UGH! My father-in-law was a mechanic at GM for 40 years and loves to research the best and least expensive options for everything. I swear the man was on the phone for a week. The people there ok but they have no idea on there prices I asked the guy how much for him to plug my tire he said about $30 then he goes maybe $50 I'm like ok I go home and Google the going rate to plug a tire and remount and rebalance and I said about $25 and some places cheaper so I call him back and ask him why so much when others do it cheaper . I feel he new he was caught trying to get over on me so he tells me to come get my truck and never tried to work with me. Look I didn't mind spend a little extra but it's like 3x the going rate. We have been taking our cars to Fitzgerald's for almost 20 years. Feel very blessed to have this great family-owned business with such highly knowledgeable technicians so close to us. The team at Fitzgerald's has always been very fair to us and very kind. Currently they are caring for our 19 year old Acura 3.2 TL (which runs like new) or 2005 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe (which runs like new) and our latest adventure, a 1991 Jaguar XJS Classic. The shop actually has access to Jaguar service data!!! Greg and colleagues did a GREAT job restoring the Jag to life with an expert tuneup. I was sitting in the customer waiting area this morning while my car was being serviced. While waiting, I was somewhat annoyed by the sprinkling of profane language that I heard from one of the staff in the intake area in particular. He was loud & did not filter his base expressions very carefully. I found it to be exceedingly unprofessional, disrespectful, and rather immature. Most of all, it was unnecessary. Even within service industries, of course, it is critical that the service delivery per se is excellent. I don't have any complaints about that or any of the other people who were working there. However, there was one individual there that did not seem to understand the idea of considering customers in the wait room----colorful language notwithstanding. At the risk of sounding outdated and dinosaur-like, in my view, some things should never change. It's called Professionalism 101 & needs to be addressed with this employee post haste. HONEST. Professional. Very skilled. Patient. My car is complicated. Hybrid. They did not give up in getting to the bottom of the problem even when it meant sending a part back and reducing the bill. They ignored everything said I about the problem, assuming they could deduce it on their own simply by plugging into the car's computer. They couldn't, and charged me $60 for doing absolutely nothing - when I took it to another shop, and they listened to what I had to say about the problem with the vehicle, it was quickly resolved. Dropped my car off for an inspection, made an appointment a few days beforehand, since I read many reviews saying how busy this place was. It's very busy! I got a little stressed out about where to park my car because everywhere was full. I went inside and I was taken care of very nicely. I was expecting a $700 bill after everything was said and done because that's usually what ends up happening to me after I get my car inspected. It was a fraction of that! They called me and told me what my options were and asked me if I wanted to go ahead with whatever they recommended to do. Very affordable, accepts walk-ins, very friendly and welcoming and they keep it straight up. I have been going here for approximately one year. One time when my tire had a flat I took it to my dealer and they tried to charge me for a whole new tire. I took it to Fitz and they filled the hole. Tire has been fine for going on 6 months.
