Recently I was searching for a place to get dynamometer numbers for a VW Jetta TDI build I and a friend did. Calibrating a dynamometer for a diesel instead of a gas vehicle is a total pain. The engines apply torque differently, so every other dyno shop in town was unwilling to let us run our vehicle on their machine. Thankfully Brady's was willing to re-calibrate their dynamometer to throw a load to our diesel allowing us to measure the engine's power. The gentleman who operated the dyno asked us what RPM we wanted to rev the engine to - which I appreciated. I've put cars on the dynamometer at other shops and they just floor it; which is terrifying. Not only were we thankful they got us in, we were also impressed with the power number the little VW made. We were pleasantly surprised that Brady's charged us $20 less than we were expecting to pay! I took my car here for an issue I was having where it was stalling out while I was driving. I I ended up being without my car for a month. It turned out all the needed was a fuel pump. I also wanted the car to be put on the dyno tune while I was there. I pretty much called once a week sometimes twice a week once I got toward's the end. Every time I called he would tell me he was waiting on the fuel pump or I was next or some other excuse. So I called him finally the day that I picked it up and asked him if he was finished with it and he told me for the second time in 2 weeks that he was getting ready to get to my car next and then he told me he had had it on the dyno last week but have to pull it off to put another one on there. My thought was if I have already been waiting a month for my car that you told me would take 2 hours why would you have mine on the dyno and then pull it off for someone else. So I told him well if you already have the fuel pump I'll just come and get it. He tried to get me to leave it saying he could get to it now. I was done with the whole process at this point I just wanted my car back it was for something that should have taken tops a day and it end up being there for a month and never getting finished so I ended up picking it. I'm not sure if the fuel pump was thw problem I'm not sure if he's too sure if they fixed my problem but at this point I am done with this place and will never go back. By the way, the price he quoted for the fuel pump replacement over the phone and my bill didnt match either. He charged more. Bob serviced my Saab 93SE for a few years, until I moved here the car had a problem with the check engine light coming on which 3 mechanics had tried to fix out of state. Bob took one look at the diagnostic and for the first time in 5 years I didn't have to look at the light anymore. He also saved me when another shop basically told me it wasn't worth fixing it. Bob to the rescue, repaired what was actually wrong with it and it is still driving today albeit with a new happy owner. No he is not the cheapest ever but honest and pretty fast and I know I can trust the work he does. Anytime I have more complex car issues, this is where I go, even if it is inconvenient. i took my custom 4X4 there for a carb rebuild, set my appointment weeks in advance, after a week of my car sitting there untouched, i called and told them i needed to pick up the car because i was due in surgery in 2 days and wouldnt be able to get the car for some time after the surgery, so when i showed up to pick it up the owner took a major attitude that i was there to re-claim my own property, my car was still sitting exactly where i parked it a week before, and the owner was busy painting the exhaust on someones car because that person had a car show coming up, i would think that scheduled appointments would take priority, but i guess they dont see it that way, its a shame because i only live 1 block up the street, but i wont be back and neither will my friends or family, its a very poorly run buisness and my best advice is to take your car elsewhere... read more

first off he cannot keep his scheduled appointments my appointment was on a thursday he didn't even touch the car no calls nothing said he would get to it Friday again nothing done and no calls didn't even return my calls or messages so had to wait the whole weekend called Monday morning told him i already paid for the work and want it done and that I was going elsewhere for my tune well here and behold an hour later my car is being tuned well guess what he screwed that up my timing table is so far off its not even funny and it idles like complete shit. went to complete street performance in west Chester PA and Andrew came out with his laptop and showed me what Brady did compared to a stock tune and then compared it to a tune that is close to my build he walked me through what he did right which wasn't much and where things need to be changed. bottom line I wouldn't trust Brady to do an oil change on my vehicle after the crap he put me through and the very shitty tune he put on my vehicle basically threw 400$ plus into the wind for a useless tune. go to complete street performance for your performance car needs they will do 100% better then Brady and will get it right the first time. http://completestreetperformance.com/ 314 Turner Lane West Chester, PA 19380 (570)259-2547 read more
