Jones has been servicing my TLX Type S for 2 years now, and have typically done a great job with communication and quality of work. For 2 years now, I have requested that they forgo running my car through their car wash, as my vehicle has a dual layer ceramic coat and has only ever been hand washed (I'm an auto enthusiast). They had my trust, as the service advisor once jokingly told me they washed my car during a previous service. On Dec 26th, however, after a routine service, I noticed the vehicle had been run through the car wash, and as expected, my paint was covered in micro scratches / swirl marks. I pointed this out to the service manager and he acknowledged their mistake (and even gave me a hand written note acknowledging their mistake), and offered to have their detailer buff out the scratches. I mentioned that simply buffing out the scratches would effectively remove my expensive ceramic coating, and would not be an adequate remediation. In order to restore the car to its previous condition, the ceramic would need to be removed then reapplied, per my detailer. After explaining this to the service manager, I was questioned about the quality of my ceramic coat, and was told that ceramic coats should prevent scratches in an attempt to pivot some of the blame. Any good detailer knows (and a simple Google search suggests) that ceramic coating does not prevent scratches, rather it adds gloss, protection from environmental contaminants, and ease of cleaning. After emailing the general manager, Kris, about the situation, I received a call from the service manager where I was told the scratches were not from the car wash and must have been present before the service, again that ceramic coatings prevent scratches, and they would not be willing to rectify the situation by working with my detailer to restore the vehicle to its previous condition. Instead, I was offered a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. Instead of making the situation right, Jones chose to lose a potential life long customer and damaged their reputation in the process. Anyone who considers themselves an auto enthusiast should avoid Jones at all costs. I'm extremely disappointed. The photos of the side profile and front of the car were taken in Oct 2023 demonstrating near perfect condition, and the three photos with swirl marks / micro scratches were taken post-service for reference.

I would not reccomend using this garage. I'm still unsure where my car is and I'm starting to think this garage is using it for insurance fraud because the labor is covered under the parts warranty. They also overcharged my new battery and told me I have to go get it replaced myself.

A different shop told me my brakes were kaput and we figured out they were fine, it was something very minor. He could've easily just changed them anyway for profit but instead took the time to explain that they were fine and the other place was full of it. Rotating the tires and fixing the psi fixed the issue. He's very down to earth and honest when something is fine vs needing work. With them missing or forgetting to do what we needed. Their resolution is "we will get that next time." Not just once or twice. At least the last 5 visits. Most recently we had a car inspection. Needed an oil change but they didn't notice, and didn't offer. Decided to take that car to dealership who happens to be on the same block as Daddario but much easier to get in and out of, plus the dealership is open on Saturdays. Anyway, we go in for an oil change and the mechanic noticed a hole in the tire. A dangerous hole that could cause a blow out on the highway. How did Daddario miss this in inspection? The car had recently hit a bad pothole in neighborhood, left behind by utility company. The inspection was immediately after that incident. I feel like Daddario is in too much of a rush or their mechanics are lazy. They've lost our business. The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1, is because the guys on the phone and at the desk are friendly. But, yet no accountability for missing and forgetting things.

I called so that I could get my car towed back home. The receptionist was very polite, took my information and within about 20 minutes they were there to pick me up. The tow truck driver was courteous, took special care in loading my car, and provided me with great conversation on the 30 minute ride home. The towing charge was fair and what I expected for the distance. I would highly recommend them for towing services.

Do not use Spot Check for auto body and paint…read more I bought a low mileage older car from the original owner, an octogenarian who no longer drives. It had bad clearcoat peeling. Other than a few small dings, the body was in good shape. Spot Check quoted a price hundreds less than Maaco. I only found one review for their body and paint work online, and it was positive. I decided to give them a chance. I wish I hadn't. Some minor flaws are expected for a cheap repaint, but they did some things that are unforgivable. While sanding the trunk lid, they sanded parts of my rear window. They did not admit this. While not broken, it is severely scratched and beyond repair. They also left sanding marks on the headlights. They broke my taillight - then told me it was broken, like they were doing me a favor by informing me. I know they broke it, as I cleaned the car extensively before giving it to them. They apparently tried to remove the taillight, which requires removing at least part of the bumper cover. But they didn't do that - they just removed the four nuts accessible from inside the trunk, then yanked. They cracked it in multiple places. They left a small part of it on the car and painted it - see the picture missing the taillight for the broken piece left in place when they painted the car. Then, they tried to superglue it all back together - and back onto the car, getting glue on the paint! Removing the bumper cover isn't difficult. I did it to replace the taillight after I got the car back ($50 for an aftermarket taillight on eBay). Learning that you need to remove the bumper cover, and how to do it, isn't hard, either - the Internet will tell you. They didn't even take the time to find out how to do it right. That should be Auto Body 101. Not that they should have removed it at all - proper masking would have sufficed. There are many areas that weren't painted, or didn't get clearcoat, or weren't cut and buffed. Lots of spots that I'd call "pimples", maybe from excessive debris on the car when they sprayed the base coat. Worst of all is how proud the owner was of their work. He seemed so pleased with how it turned out. It's truly awful. I'd go back and ask them to fix it, but I don't trust them to do it right. I learned my lesson. PLEASE let me be the one to learn it for you, and don't make the same bad choice I did.
