he owner was extremely kind, efficient and professional, however I would have respected her more if she would have just told me she didn't do lace front installs. 1st off, Texas has been the only state i know where you pay BEFORE your hair is done. Please, don't get me wrong, I understand people may run off when the service is good and it protects the stylist, but what about the customer that works just as hard for their money to not to get the proper services done. She had to braid my hair and the braids were not small enough and puffy. When the wig was placed on my head, it sat on my head like a hat.(she said the wig was too big) She then proceeded to cut up my wig without placing it on my head first. She used this old glue to which looked like it was for arts and crafts and not hair. She put tons of it on me. She then asked me to hold down my sides, while she proceeded to sew my wig to my scalp! I asked her what she was doing and she says it gives her clients extra security. Well even before I left the wig was coming up! You could see the wig front line because she cut the net all the way to the scalp of the wig so you really couldn't blend it with makeup if you tried. I left her shop hurt, disappointed, disgusted and downright angry that I spent $150 BEFORE this catastrophic experience took place only to have to take it out tomorrow and get it re-done! Some people should just say I can't do those and let it be.  I sat in my car and damn near balled my eyes out for at least an hour. I am down here working and finally proved this is the reason I don't let people do my hair! I would not recommend her for lace front wig installs. My co-workers were all appalled and pissed off right along with me. Although, they had some choice words and said the  things they would have done, but unfortunately I am working and getting locked-up or losing my job is not my plans!  STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS WHEN IT COMES TO LACE FRONT INSTALLS!! THE OWNER EVEN HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME SHE IS THE BEST! Well, if she is the best...... please give me mediocre or the worst! I hope my real hair isn't too damaged. The respectable thing would be to return half of the money, because the pictures shown, if given the opportunity to show another styling professional would say this is not good. Box Braids done by Braid by Braid and not impressed and won't be back. The Good: Braids are neat and my hair is thin so they did a good job of making my braids look full. Can't see my scalp. The young lady who braided the front of my hair was very nice and professional. The Bad: The shop recommended the Box braids for me. The braids are heavy and falling out. I've had box braids before and NEVER had 15 braids so far fallout. My hair is only 2 weeks old and the braids started falling out the minute I left the Shop. It is embarrassing. I have a Professional career and went to see one of my Providers today and a Braid fellout in there office on the floor. I wouldn't have gotten this hairstyle from this shop had I known this would happen. The hair they recommended itches my scalp real bad. Also the Owner's daughter assisted with braiding my hair and it took almost 8 hours to complete my hair because she had to constantly stop to attend to her crying kids. Those kids cried the entire time I was there. I drove far to get my hair braided by this shop and I would not recommend this Shop to anyone. read more

I've been to quite of few braid locations in the Irving and Dallas area this place is not terrible but not good either.. when I went here it was recommended to me by one of my clients while working on their vehicle. The woman who was doing my braids was constantly on the phone talking to friends/family or whatever and was not focusing on doing my braids. Long story short she kept on messing up because she was too distracted with the phone conversation and she still didn't leave the braids how I wanted them and she tried doing her own "special touch" which I didn't ask for and charged me $60 for it... I won't be going back here nor recommending this place to anyone. There are BETTER places in Irving and Dallas area for about the same price or a bit cheaper depending on how much your trying to spend. read more

Got my hair braided last night and it came out exactly how I wanted it. I wanted my individuals small but not too small to damage my edges. I am very pleased at how my hair turned out. At first glance, the braids look tight, but they are not. This is my third time coming to this salon and I am pleased with the outcome every time. Everyone was pleasant and patient. read more

No one in their right mind will pay prior to completion of service. Lost 1 star !! Take that sign of the wall !! Ladies do not allow Patience or anyone else intimidate you to pay for a service prior to completion of services. I went to BBB and asked Patience if they were able to recreate a pic of faux locs (1st pic of blonde hair) that I wanted. She assured me that they could and was nice enough to walk with me in the shopping complex to buy the hair. Once I purchased 8 bags of hair, she recommended that I leave the hair with her so that she can brush it and have it ready for me for my appt (which was four days away). I trusted her with my hair. When I returned, her braiders showed me that there were only 7 1/2 bags available and THEY WERE NOT BRUSHED. Before I sat in the chair, I informed them that Patience and I agreed to Cash app for payment. They said "no problem". The braiders started on my hair and showed me a finished loc. I asked that they create them much smaller. My request was disregarded and the rest were locked even bigger. See 2nd pic below. When they were done, they informed me that the person that handles Cash app wasn't going to be in the shop that day. So, that meant I had to find an ATM. However, they didn't have the same trust in me as I did with them keeping my hair. One braider hopped in my car bc she stated that they've been ditched before. Turns out, the price that Patience and I agreed to ($180) was not told to them and they demanded $200. This experience has devastated me because I'm going to a wedding where tons of pics will be taken and this style will be immortalized. Y'all tell me if the pics look like twins!!? read more

Wonderful job on my full sew in, no hair out, weave. Patience went with me to the beauty supply store to help me pick out the hair ( this was my first weave) she then gave me a bottle of water and completed my weave in under two hours. They were not too tight and they did not hurt at all when she put it in. She did a wonderful job shaping it. She even offered to use a net cap to protect my hair more. I only wish she would have used a different base braid instead of the beehive so that I could have my part instead of a sew in part. But she did a wonderful closure. Update: I had to take out the weave after only 2 weeks because my scalp was itching and I had red spots and little white bumps all over my scalp. My head is super tender but thankfully I did not lose any of my hair... read more
