I came in with long, thick hair and clearly explained that I wanted to maintain my length with long, blended layers, along with a trim to my bangs and front pieces. I specifically requested that the length be kept around mid-back. However, the result was significantly shorter than discussed--ending just past my shoulders--and the layering was not blended. Instead of a seamless transition, there were very visible separations between layers, which made the haircut look uneven and choppy. A couple of days later, I returned to give the stylist an opportunity to correct the issue. I appreciated her willingness to try and fix it, and she seemed confident in doing so. However, despite the effort, the haircut still lacked proper blending and did not achieve the intended look. I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience, especially for those with thick hair that requires careful layering and blending techniques. While the service itself was polite, the overall result did not reflect the level of skill or attention to detail I was hoping for. I hope this feedback is helpful for both the salon and future clients.

When it was my turn, Celeste introduces herself and off we went. Wash, cut and blow dry later I have an amazing haircut. She listened to what I wanted and managed to turn my inadequate description into a beautiful haircut. I would highly recommend this place. The other ladies that I saw leaving during my time there all had beautiful cuts, colors and styles. Great for women who like a nice salon that comfortable and isn't overly posh/modern.

After showing her a picture of what I wanted and specifically telling her I wanted the "natural grow out look" effect vs the dark roots w harsh blonde lines she said she "never leaves any clients w harsh lines"... so ok I start the balayage process and once my hair was done processing and washed, I nearly had a panic attack after looking at my virgin hair now fully bleached yellow with about a one inch dark root. Harsh lines throughout and not to mention yellow and orange tones all over. It looked like I had my child bleach my hair! Not balayage style at all!! Totally different than what I had asked for! But She told me it's what I asked for. So I show her the picture I had shown her before starting and asked her how does my hair look anywhere near the one in the picture? She then proceeded to tell me she prefers natural colors not what I had as if I asked to just bleach my entire hair yellow! Obviously she knew she messed up my hair badly but didn't take responsibility and still chose to blame it on me. She then tells me she can tone down the color and runs prices though me as if i was somehow responsible for her mess up. But ok whatever I had to pay to not look like a yellow and orange broomstick, I was going to pay. So we finish the toning down and the yellow went away partially. My roots were still terrible tho And looked like a tacky job with harsh lines. Once she styled it, she took some photos of my hair from behind with a ring light and they actually looked very pretty! However that is not what my hair looked like at all! She styled it and put a giant ring light before snapping her instagram pic. Instagram pics are expectation vs reality after all. Reality was not anything like her insta pics. If I separated my hair anywhere you would find uneven "highlights" with harsh lines or you would find brassy lights. The top of my head was terrible. One inch dark roots w harsh bleached lines. I had to just dye my hair almost to what I had before she bleached it and damaged it all. So now I'm just brown and still having difficulty taking off the brassy tones she left all over and dealing with the damaging effects. I posted a review of my experience and she immediately went to Facebook saying how she left my hair beautifully hydrated & that I was unhappy prior to beginning anything on my hair. She posted her famous instagram pics of my hair and again... that's not what my hair looked like at all! She behaved very unprofessionally and prevented any commenting or posting photos on my behalf. She also deleted any other negative comments on the post and only kept hers and her fellow followers comments. Very shady. Unprofessional! Maybe I was just the unlucky customer who's hair she damaged and messed up but I wouldn't recommend this place. It's heart breaking when you achieve beautiful, healthy, long hair with years of hard work only to have someone ruin it entirely in an hour.

When I first called, I spoke with Jenny, who I believe is the owner. Even though she was on maternity leave, she helped arrange a same-day consultation with Alondra. Alondra took photos of my hair and matched the color perfectly, and my installation appointment was scheduled for the very next day. I absolutely loved the salon--the atmosphere is welcoming, everyone is friendly, and the customer service was outstanding. It's been almost a month, and I haven't needed a single touch-up. She has graciously helped me fix two or three mishap haircuts. Never again will I try someone new. She is hands down the best hairdresser EVER. A way to know she knows what she's doing is she has many out of town clients (I currently live in Houston) that make sure to make appointments ever time they're in town.
