Since then, I have not really been able to find a decent quality of care in a primary care provider. I began going to A family Healing Center, and first I met with Dr. Keddy. It became apparent early on I needed a Dr. more specialized in the area of care that I needed. I then met Dr. Jason Black. I have never met a more thorough, thoughtful, and truly genuine doctor in my life. I have had my favorites in the past, but this doctor truly makes you feel like your the only one in the office. Sometimes I feel bad because we get to talking and I feel like I am taking too much of his time, but he absolutely delivers a level of care that is unmatched in the area. I have a skin condition among other things, and Dr. Black has treated me with the utmost respect and decency, I honestly feel like I have found that diamond in the rough of Oregon. Since seeing him I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I have been receiving injections on my head, and recently began laser treatments. It is too early to comment on the laser treatment as I have only had one done, but the injections have proved to be remarkable. If anyone has a skin condition, and are embarrassed, or just lack complete confidence because of it, Dr. Jason Black is the doctor you need. I received 6 rounds of laser on my face and chest from these people two years ago. All the hair on…read moremy face is still there. Moreover, they used an excessive amount of force when pressing the laser against my skin. At the time, I was ignorant of the process and did not know this was not how laser worked. I believe this was deliberate sexual assault. When I spoke about this to my plastic surgeon, he seemed to think that perhaps these people did not know how to use the laser. Paul has responded saying that I did not complain at the time. This is a deliberate falsehood. I complained that he used too much force, then I complained that his wife used too much force, and eventually I gave up and allowed neither one of them near my breasts so they could not harm me that way anymore. Paul has also said I was abrasive, directly contradicting his remark that there were no complaints. Finally, Paul claims that more than 6 rounds of laser should be necessary for full reduction -- however, the laser did not remove a single hair.

After one treatment here, i already can tell a huge difference! My face is smoother, and hair is less noticeable. There is some pain in not going to lie, but it really is tolerable. I asked if the 2-3x per year was forever, and was told "No, not forever! Only while you're alive. Hair doesn't grow after you die". They stress that a reduction in hair growth (and not full removal) of 60-75% is the best I could hope for. I was also told my skin was very damaged, and I would need photo facial services almost everywhere I was looking to get laser hair removal (under chin, legs, bikini, underarms). I'm 32 and have since been asked about my great complexion. Additionally, I've subsequently found out the "laser" there is not a laser. I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.
