This was a great place to get my first round of Dysport then later Botox. I do wish the injector heard me when I asked to do more of my forehead and she would only do a brow lift. I went to Holly at the Medspa for Botox and absolutely loved her. I have done Botox before but not regularly and then was using non brands last and feel I wasn't getting results so switched to Gorin. Kind of upsetting to be sitting in the waiting room and hearing the little blonde front desk girl (Stevie?) sayin very horrible things about her co worker. I will NOT be returning to a clinic where you get the feeling that you are the topic of gossip when you leave the office. Very unprofessional. Very childish and catty. Respectfully, grow up if you want to work in the adult world. I can only assume the other girl she was talking to was just as bad. I will not visit or recommend any clinic that has this type negative energy. These type of establishments should only be staffed with supportive girls girls. Not this toxic drama. I saw Holly for Botox injections. She was happy, positive, confident and a true artist. In the past, I've received Botox for years and years and have tried multiple, reputable establishments. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed time and time again. Each place I've gone has not been able to successfully smooth my forehead and remove my "11's". I had my Breast Augmentation done with Gorin back in October 2020. It came to our attention that my chest cavity had a big dip and therefore the implants were still uneven even after going with different profiles and sizes. This was not necessarily his fault but after just over a year, it was still a bit of an insecurity for me and I went back to see him. He had a great game plan of what we were going to do next to get them a bit more even and I had the second surgery on just the one side in January of 2022. I am so much happier! In no way are they perfect, I am not perfect already but they are much more even and sit better. I am so glad I made the decision to not live with it but to talk to him again and explore my options. Recovery was also night and day between the first surgery and the second! Highly recommend Gorin! Further, I have gone to the medspa a couple of times for botox and again, highly recommend! I had a breast lift with implant 5 years ago and later another surgery to increase the size of my implants (which was planned before the first surgery) 3 years ago. I wanted to wait to give a review to see if my feelings about the results improved. My feelings about the results have remained the same and I am now seeking to correct my breast lift and implants from another plastic surgeon. I am grateful that I made it through the surgeries without complications that significantly threatened my health. My breasts are a similar rounded shape and I am grateful for that as well. Staff were friendly. Dr. Gorin responded quickly to texts. The problems: 1. I asked for the nipples to be placed a bit higher than in the center of the implant as that is the esthetic we prefer. Dr. Gorin responded that they would be in the center and he thought it looks best this way. I reiterated my desire to have the nipples a bit higher than he would normally place them and showed him where I would like them placed. For something as subjective as beauty, I found it quite unsettling that Dr. Gorin insisted on his own standard of beauty vs. what I wanted. I want my perspective of beauty to be respected. I did not go through all this pain, suffering, time, and money to get what someone else wants without what I want even being considered. 2. My nipples are not at center as he said, but are BELOW center and my right nipple is very noticeably LOWER the left. This was not the case before my first surgery. I am very unhappy that my nipples are uneven and much lower than I wanted. After the first surgery, I asked what could be done to even out the nipples and specifically asked if a half moon lift on the lower one was possible. Dr. Gorin told me it was not possible. While prepping for the second planned surgery, I also asked if anything could be done to raise the lower nipple and Dr. Gorin told me there was not anything that coukd be done. I am still confused why nothing would be possible and am seeking consultation with other plastic surgeons. 3. I was also not told that my nipples may stretch and get larger after surgery/implants. If I had been warned of this, I would have decreased the nipple size which was an option presented to me before the lift (but we were pleased with the size of my nipples before surgery). I am now unhappy with the size of my nipples. 4. My scars are quite large under the nipple as my sutures split open when I started firmly doing the massages as instructed by Dr. Gorin (I had been doing the massages lightly for fear of the sutures busting open, but he stressed that I must do the massages firmly starting immediately at a follow-up appointment and showed me how to do them again and with the amount of pressure he said was required. At the time, I told Dr. Gorin that my sutures split open and asked if there was anything I could do or he could do to hold the wound closed and minimize the scars. Dr. Gorin told me there was nothing that could be done. I have since learned (shortly after I healed from the first surgery and saw the results) that there were things that could have been done. I have a large, uneven, almost "upside down triangle shaped" scar under each nipple. They are unsightly and obvious and I continue to be incredibly upset with how they look and that it was preventable. 5. Dr. Gorin put in 2 different size implants at the second surgery. My breasts had always been even in size and the first implants were the same size. This was not discussed in advance and when he told me after waking me from surgery, my immediate response was, "What?! Why?!" with a panicked, confused, and angry expression on my face. I asked for him to fix it right then and make them the same size. He said he thought it looked better this way, to trust his opinion as the doctor, and asked me to give them time to heal. He had told me he may pick a smaller size than we discussed based on how it looked during the surgery, be he NEVER mentioned the possibility of putting in 2 different sizes! My breasts are very obviously 2 different sizes and it causes me to feel ashamed of them. I care just as much today as I did immediately following the surgery. As someone who has been living with the results of my surgeries for 5 years and 3 years respectively, I would not recommend Dr. Gorin. I was unhappy when I healed from the first surgery, immediately after the second surgery, and am still just as unhappy now. When I voiced my concerns in follow-up visits, he showed me before and after photos and said, "That's pretty good though, right?" Dr. Gorin wanted me to give it time for me to adjust and see if those issues still bothered me down the line. I have given it time. I have not adjusted. The same issues still bother me and I am distressed about the results. read more
