The sandpit even has toys like dump trucks - my kid would be perfectly happy to just stay there and call it a day! The condition of everything in the main areas is a little grubby, however. I appreciate that they put out plenty of chairs and benches all around for parents to sit on (cos waiting for your child while they play is an unavoidable part of the game), as well as some picnic tables. My son attended this school for only 2 days. The teacher was unpleasant, as asking her a question seemed to bother her. Before we enrolled everyone seemed very pleasant. I watched my son crying on the floor for 15 minutes until she catered to him. That night a injury to his knee that the school said nothing about. After telling the director my toddler would not be attending the school his response was short and didn't seem to have any care. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Just by observance it seems to be understaffed and the staff perhaps unhappy due to being overworked . But if are looking for a daycare, please avoid this one.

Currently, she has 1.5 hr sessions throughout the day during weekdays and weekends. Most of her students are Chinese, but she is also fluent in English. The art class lasts 13 days for about $400. You need to provide your own media (color pencils, paint, pastels and paper), which she can recommend. The class is a mix of different skill levels. Your child will create works with different media, for example, she teaches basic outlining with pencil followed by marker, then the child colors with markers and pastels to create a unique piece. The classes are flexible with ample time for make-ups. If you have a toddler, there's a Gymboree next door. I take my 18 month next door during the art class.

It's easy to pinpoint the reason too: Janelle, the camp director, and her incredible staff. We really weren't expecting any accommodations, but/and Jenelle and all the counselors quickly realized what my son needed, put some changes in place for him, and connected with him in an amazing way. My son was so happy and he learned that he can fun with less structure, be safe with new people, and make new friends. I'm gushing, I know, but this summer was super-special and I couldn't let it go unnoted.

Update: I met with the Director and Associate Director of the program and they informed me that 2/3 kids that were involved in the incidences were expelled. The last child was 4 year olds and not fully aware of what he was doing. I was happy that the administration did not dismiss what was going on and acted swiftly.

The girls are all treated like they are family there. All the teachers/aides/staff know their names. The girls run in and give them hugs. The teachers are amazing. My kids are learning both English, Spanish & sign language. They include math in almost every lesson but make it fun. An egg farmer once explained to me that a fresh egg has a firm jelly-like white when cracked opened, and an egg with a watery white is not fresh. The store is small, adorable and clean located on a real farm in Denville, NJ. You can see the goats, chickens and other animals roaming around. I love what they did with their property. They put a ton of work into it and it's meticulously maintained. They have a few other items, but I was really only interested in the eggs and they didn't disappoint. They have a few vegetables, homemade pickles, goat cheese, honey, jam, country-style gifts, a small selection of candy, etc. I think I saw a sign for pie, but don't recall seeing any -- maybe sold out.
