The teachers in the infant room are endlessly creative, patient, thoughtful, and attentive. Because Totri is smaller than many other local daycares, it truly feels like a family. The staff goes out of their way to host special events for the whole community - from trunk-or-treat and spirit weeks to egg hunts - they do it all. Even in the infant room, the teachers take time to craft thoughtful, developmentally appropriate lessons and experiences. I was amazed at how quickly my daughter picked up sign language, her colors, and her numbers. As a Spanish-speaking daycare, Totri has also given her the incredible gift of learning to communicate in both English and Spanish. On top of all this, Totri makes life easier for parents. Their hours are longer than many other centers, they are rarely closed, illnesses seem to be minimized, and the cost is among the most reasonable in the area. My son was in the mobile infant room. First, at the open house, there was no communication about the children's daily schedule, and the overall presentation was unprofessional. The teachers read off a paper and gave us no instructions on drop-off/pick-up routines. Almost daily, my son's lunch dishes were scattered throughout his bags, lost, or we took home another child's materials. We packed lunch and snacks daily. However, my son was continuously fed snacks from the school without my permission, and when I would bring it up I was assured they were not. But at pick up, they would tell me he enjoyed the school snack today. The staff in the room was unprofessional. They were using the iPad for personal searches, the pictures they sent home were blurry or did not always include our child, and they were not warm and friendly to us. The app was never accurate, and we were rarely updated on the amount of food he was eating. If this was brought up, we were told the app was down. But then magically fixed moments later. The communication between the teachers was awful. Their tone towards us and our son was rude, condescending, and it often felt like they did not like him. Because of these attitudes, we did not report the small issues for fear of retaliation against our son. Unfortunately, these are only the small issues, but towards the end, there were issues of neglect. In my son's last week at Lightbridge, he was sent home twice with a diaper that was clearly not changed in a long time. Each time it was about 4 hours in between. They would change him, give him lunch, put him down for a nap, and wait an hour or so after he woke up to change him again. On his last day, he had such a bad rash that he was struggling to walk. Not a single teacher in the room noticed. It is hard to tell if they don't care or are disorganized. However, changing a baby after a nap is common sense. When we called to complain (for the sake of other children), Olive gave us a run-of-the-mill response with no remorse. We highly recommend that you do not send your child here.

She began walking at 11 months, has strong verbal communication, uses sign language, points, repeats words, and shows wonderful social skills. She provides home-cooked meals every day and creates such a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. We regularly receive photos of our daughter looking genuinely happy--playing with the other kids (sometimes sharing!), learning, and feeling completely at home. One of the biggest testaments to how special this place is? When we pull up and our daughter sees Bobbie's front door, she can't wait to get out of our arms. No clear answer of how many people worked there. How many children attended. Out of complete a misunderstanding we paid the deposit as to hold a place if we could not find another placement. We we were ASSURED the $900 fee could be refunded but the $150 registration fee would not. We agreed. Now we are being told that our misunderstanding of deposit/registration(which was encouraged by Bobbie herself) will not be refunded. Please find a safer and happier place for your child. Once we walked into our new daycare the light and happiness were immediately felt. Bobbies learning center is basically signing up to have your children play in a parking lot. See for yourself.

They often have "floaters" that go room to room but are still not meeting the state required minimum. This facility has only been open since September 2018 so it is clean and new, however, they already have 2 complaints on file with the state licensing board and the Institutional Abuse Investigation Unit.
