Zero to 1 stars. 8-23-23 I had a complete brake job done. New brake pads and rotors on front and rear and a rear left rear caliper. I paid for a 60000 mile brake job for parts and labor. Total cost was $1310.02. Less than 12000 miles later,brakes began making grinding noise. I took it back to Brakes 4 Less. They said not their problem to take to a mechanic they recommended. I took to my mechanic 2 days later. He said it was the brakes pads and rotors. He fixed my brakes. I had a rattle in the rear that started after Brakes 4 Less worked on car. They said there was nothing wrong when I took it back 1st time. I went back for 2nd time this week regarding rattle. At that time, they installed new rear brake pads and clips(that fixed rattle). I returned the bad pads and rotor to show problem but because my mechanic fixed, I have no restitution for the amount paid to my mechanic. read more

If I could give less, I would. Went to get brakes done, it cost$400 instead of 199, for premium brakes with a life-time warranty included. Went to get the brakes changed and Ist they couldn't find me in the system, then to finally find my name it was " someone drop the ball on the warrenty but you see that is what come with what was paid. Tried to charge me another $642. No, unprofessional, not organized, no computer skills, no communication. I will never go there again. I will be back! Regular service, nothing special to write about that. But the price and value was more than enough. Toyota Tundra 2015 TRD PRO On a Wednesday. Dealer last oil change said brakes would need to be done. The past 20k miles having pulsating brakes especially when hot. The dealer has a coupon for 189$ (normal cars, trucks more) each axle. I assumed they would want 200$ each axle plus tax and all the other fees they through at you. Assuming 400$+ dollars... Here I got the middle package that did almost everything (was recommended to me and was what i thought I needed). I got out the door for 235$ which is fantastic to me. Comes with warranty which prolly no one would ever use, but hey it's there. It was done in about an hour which was mind blowing!!!!!! Got in truck and pulsating is done and she stops like stock! Would severely recommend this place compared to dealers. Save money and TIME!!!! read more

Went in on Thursday July 1st to schedule appt. Service manager scheduled me for Monday July 5th at 8:30am. Got a text on Sunday evening confirming appt and asking me to text "Y" to confirm appt. Did that and received final confirmation text. Arrive at 8:15am this morning and business is closed, no signs on door, no one answering phone, and 800 customer service number stating they will be closed today for a holiday. Can't tell you about the brake work but their customer service is an epic failure. Total disaster. read more

While waiting in line he overheard there is a new manager that is up-selling everyone on stuff they don't even need (tried to get an older man in front of him for extra $200 but thankfully there was an honest tech that happened to walk thru and told him truth). I recently had the 4 brakes replaced on my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. I had a quote from another brake place for over $390.00. I then went to Brakes -4-Less. The complete price for replacing the pads, turning the rotors, replacing all hardware and replacing all the fluids was under $275.00 including tax. The service tech was very helpful and did not try to sell me anything other than what I requested. The complete job was finished in about an hour. I had my brakes changed on the 9th of March. Since then, I have been back 2 or 3 times for the squeaky sound my brakes were making. One morning, on the highway, I had to slam on my brakes and my car swived to the left almost hitting the vehicle in the left lane. Today is April 11, I am still having issues with my brakes. I no longer have confidence that my issue will be properly resolved with you. I went to another shop and is currently getting it worked on. They said only the front driver brakes were working and the right one did not work. That was the reason for the swive. It could have killed me and my family. I spent over 500 dollars, time and patience to have this issue resolved by Brakes4less. I would like a full refund for the subpar brake job and all my time wasted. Got in there with their $139 for all four brake pads to be replaced. Did their inspection which took 25 mins and came back and said my rear pads were missing hardware so they tried to bump me up to the next packages which were 209 and 235. I disagreed to both but finally agreed to just put the hardware on the rear and then said it would be $189. Good work done but just unfortunate how they conveniently changed the price to the next package that included hardware. read more

I wish I could give a 2 1/2 star rating. I've had my husband's truck worked on here twice. The work is good & prices are decent, but the wait time is terrible. I came in today to have 2 rear rotors put on. That's it. I was informed after 1 hour of being there that the truck also needed new hardware for the front as well. Literally with an appointment, it took 1 hour to get the truck in the air & looked over... whatever, I approved. I came in for my 1:30 appointment and didn't leave until 3:45. During my visit, 3 people (myself included) had to notify the person at the desk that our cars were finished. He just simply wasn't paying attention. I'm not complaining due to COVID-19 safety precautions... because there weren't any. I'm complaining & warning others that you should clear your entire schedule when taking your vehicle here, because regardless of them quoting a time (1 hour), it'll take much longer. read more

I took my car in because I busted a line and needed new brakes and rotors. They quoted me an hour to an hour and a half, which was fine, but then they didn't call and let me know what was going on with my car until 2:30, when I brought it in at 10 with an appointment. Then they said they had to keep it for another day because something had to be tightened, which was also fine, no big deal I understand that things happen sometimes. But when I got my car back, there's a weird rubbing sound when I turn and I noticed they left the bottle of brake fluid in my engine bay. Brake fluid is super corrosive and when I came back the following Monday like they asked me to, to torque the bolts on my tires, I told the guy at the front desk and he was extremely nonchalant about it. He literally said "oh, that's not supposed to be there" when I told him, and that was all. They torqued my bolts by hand and only did one bolt on each rear tire. I just had to replace my serpentine belt today, on Thursday, which was a perfectly good belt on Monday when I brought it back for them to do my bolts. So unless something is done to rectify my situation, I will not be returning to this location. Spartanburg's Brakes 4 Less needs to step up their game, both in customer service and actually paying attention to their work. read more

Here's the story! My fiancee had been concerned about getting her trucks brakes done and had looked up this location. Mind you neither of us had ever used this company and didnt know what to exspect. We made an appointment at 1 pm on August 29th to have the front pads replaced with the $159.brake service. We arrived on time and our vehicle was taken in immediately. Jebo was at the front desk and was very courtious and looked at our vehicle personally and returned to the desk with a question. Jebo asked if we were hearing noise or anything and we said no. At this time he told us that the brakes were not in need of replacement and we were pleasantly surprised. Jebos' honesty should be recognized becaused many places would've just replaced the brakes without saying that it wasn't necessarily needed for some time. I guess you get what you pay for. The quality of the brakes are very cheap, even on the premium packages. Went in to get brakes because my brakes were squeaking. A month later they are squeaking again. Took my car back in. The manager stated that " the pads need to be broke in". Drove my car for another month just to see if this was the problem. Of course not! Took my car back a second time to get the same run around. Finally, I am fed up. I eventually took my car to Firestone, and replaced those cheap brakes that Brakes 4 Less used. I would recommend that you go to a place that will provide you with quality brakes, because this is not the place. read more

Also came in for their basic brake package. After the safety inspection, they came back with a quote for 500+!!! Said I needed front rotors along with other parts. Told them to put things back and I would do it myself. Finally agreed to let them do the rear drums for 200+ just because I've never done drums before. While waiting another guy came in and they also hit him with a 500+ quote. He decided to do it himself also. Ordered EBC front brake pads and rotor set from JC Whitney for 129 shipped. It would suprise me to see this business still operating a year from now. read more
