They did a quick light inspection at the beginning of the service by checking the headlights, high beams, hazards and reverse lights. Tires were inspected during their multipoint inspection and fluids were topped off as needed before they pulled me through the bay. Excellent, thorough and efficient service and technicians were kind and courteous.

The cost of replacing the turbo, plus the fight I have to go through with Bob Brown isn't worth it. I left and came back within the 30 min and still waited another 20 before it was pulled into the bay. The assistant manager shoed me the price for the oil change which was $100, had i not been on time crunch and needed the tire looked at i would've left. I was told that they would not be able to patch my tire as it was damaged too close to the side which was fine and I opted to go ahead and get new tires since I already knew I would need to soon. I noticed on the estimate where she showed me the tire price that it was recommended for my serpentine belt to be changed, at this point I was already there for an hour and I told her if that need done then I guess do it since I was leaving for Tennessee the next day. She stated it would be another 2 hours and I took a walk and came back after 20min and I said something about my windshield washer fluid and she said oh yeah mechanic said it's cracked and I said no the pump pops out, I asked if they actually looked to see if it was cracked and was told no. I was told my oil was empty and my power steering fluid was low. I asked if everything was topped off and was told yes. As I'm sitting there and she told me that they got the wrong size belt and then got another wrong size and then she needed to order it from Omaha. She said she would call me when it came in. I was there for 3.5 hours for basically an oil change and new tires. As I was leaving my trailblazer was whining which I knew my power steering fluid was empty. When I got home my son on law and I were changing the bushing for my washer fluid and noticed that my belt is still in good condition. I was charged $300 for the belt to be changed. We returned to Midas this morning so I could get a refund and to have my power steering fluid to be filled since that had not been done. We asked why it was recommended that my belt to be changed and the manager said he did not know and he was going to follow up. I asked him if he looked at the belt and he said no, did you want me too? I told him nevermind. I told him I never had an issue when Rich worked there, Rich was always honest with me. I will never go back.

I noticed that they did mechanical work so I asked if they could perform a oil change on my 2017 Nissian Titan XD. Bully said sure, that's easy, and set me up for a oil change on Wednesday 8 am. Fast forward to today, and I show up right on time 8 am to check in. Shaun the store manager greeted me and said they would call me in a couple hours when it was ready. Noon came around and no call. I called and spoke to Shawn again, and he said" It was just pulled in and will be ready in 45 mins". I decided to give them a lot of extra time and showed up 1 pm. As I sat waiting for an update I find that they had not started the oil change yet, but we're on it. They ordered the wrong oil filter and told me this after I sat waiting for almost an hour. 2:45 mins later it sounds like they found the right filter, and will now finish my oil change. I will follow up on this to let you all know if they rest the oil change counters on the computer and put in a window sticker. I really feel like this will be my first and last trip to Big O Tires in Ankeny. I gave it a 2 start because Billy is amazing.

So I dropped off my car at 8 AM on Monday only to find out on Wednesday afternoon that my car hadn't been looked at at all in 2 1/2 days by the tech... so we were nice to them and sure things were going to be good until we find out today that they have to order that 150 amp fuse in because they don't carry it in their parts department and it won't be there till tomorrow and of course there's no one there on Saturday to do any work like that so again I'm waiting three more days to get my car back... The tech doesn't realize that he's damaging the future business of the company by neglecting to take care of a customer service issue right away... And it reflects badly on the whole dealership when the person who's actually supposed to do the work wasn't
