We rented an RV from Brambillas a couple of times and both times everything worked OK and we liked the units. I think the first one was pretty new. We bought our current RV from Brambillas and they have been good to deal with for service. They do try to treat their customers well, in my opinion. We would buy from them again. And we have found that their service is superior to any RV shop we have used while on our trips. Service seems quite bad in the RV industry in general. I just bought a RV, Class A, brought it to Brambillas, and they were great. I did not feel I was being over charged or even fix things that didn't need, they were honest, told me one thing that needed fixing (blinkers we're not grounding so made light flicker). So I fix that, I thought I needed a new pump for the jacks, but they said no, just a hose leak, then did regular maintenance on everything else, I was expecting to pay more, but with everything (40' class A) under $1500.00, plus they put on new shocks for me, which I supplied, I love going to them. I don't trust yo many folks at my age, but so far, they have kept my trust. read more

This is the first review I've ever written but I feel that I need to put "buyer beware" information out about Brambillas. They are very nice people to deal with and seem fair when you rent. However, they are very vague and do not deliver what they promise and then are extremely difficult to deal with when there are any issues. Issues are basically your problem and its just too bad when it comes time to return the vehicle. Be careful of the following: The items that the RV you rent may not match the description you are given even though you are given a brochure that list the exact RV number (they manage their RV's by number) you will be renting. For example, don't plan to cook food in an oven because you may not get it. Don't count on the backup camera to be working because they "don't guarantee it" - in fact they don't guarantee anything to be working properly and lots won't be. Hope that you won't have to empty the black water (toilet) tanks nearly every day due to a faulty sensor like we did. (They tried to tell us that it happens all the time, but our friends RV rented at the same time never once had that problem, and every time we emptied the tank it only read empty until one or two usages and then it read nearly full). Don't rent a newer model if you can help it. I rented the 2014 and paid more money to do so. However, when I returned the RV and told them the list of things that weren't working right they said that it is normal to have more problems with the newer RVs because they are custom built and it takes time to find all the errors in construction. When I asked why I paid more to have more problems, they said its just the way the price it. My friend rented an RV the same week we did and got a slightly older model. Yes, he paid less. But he also got a completely loaded RV for a less money than our stripped down model. He got 5 TVs (we got 1 which the kids couldn't really watch while we were driving because it would swing around and was not securable), he got an oven (like we were told we would have but didn't), he got leather and upgraded finishes, we got the baseline, he got a functioning backup camera (which was a safety issue for us). All this and more, yet he paid less to rent his vehicle. I could accept all of this (not easily, but I could) if it weren't for the belligerent attitude I got immediately when I tried to explain my concerns. It was "just the way it is" and "that's just too bad". Horrible, horrible customer relations and customer service when you return your vehicle. Of course it's all smiles and sunshine when they are trying to get your money. read more

We purchased an RV on consignment here. At first the sales person was very nice to us. We spent almost 3,000 on repairs and cleaning. When we picked it up it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned...even the salesperson agreed. This was on a Friday....he asked if we could bring it back in Monday to be recleaned. We ended up tearing up the floor and just cleaning it ourselves over the weekend because we needed to get it packed to go camping. We called the salesperson today to ask if we could have a credit for an oil change since we ended up cleaning it ourselves. He told my husband to "piss off" and treated him horribly over the phone. He said that he had been more than nice to us given the fact the RV wasn't even theirs (it was on consignment) and it only cost 4,500. So basically, if you're not going to buy a brand new 300,000 motorhome here, don't bother. They are jerks. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen, you don't get a greeting when you walk in the door, and you have to beg for someone to even approach you to help you. I was in there a number of times ready to shell out 200k for a RV, but with this kind of treatment and service, I am really happy to say I bought elsewhere. What a complete joke and un professional this place is. Looks nice from the outside, but stinks & very rude in the inside. There was another Brambillas, but that one was a trailer dealership that closed down over 5 years ago at another address and phone number. Not sure why Yelp still has a dealership that has closed on their site. That being said, what a great dealership! These folks know their stuff. I see most of the reviews on here are very old and I can't speak to how this company operated before but WOW was our experience amazing!! We would give 10 stars if we could. Do yourself a favor and go to Brambillas and ask for Beau. He is the most honest vehicle salesperson we've ever met and incredibly helpful. We were transporting a car from MN to CA and decided to make it a family road trip so we decided to buy an RV. We talked to Beau before we flew out and were only in MN for a weekend so Beau worked with us to find the right RV, meet with us after hours, do all the paperwork, get it prepped to drive cross country and even answered all of our questions during our trip. Chandler was great too with getting paperwork and insurance set up in a hurry so we could hit the road. We're not RVers so needed a lot of hand holding and both of these guys were incredibly patient with us. These guys are NOT pushy salespeople which is refreshing and they are super busy with everyone buying RVs right now during COVID. Absolutely an A+++ experience, highly recommend these guys if you want an honest team of experts to work with. read more

Do not trust this business, get everything written and have a copy in your possession. I rented a 31 ft Winnebago Motor-home for a 10 day rental and before I even drove off the lot I found they had misrepresented the features of having stabilizers or jacks installed and costs of the rental. After driving it the first day I realized the steering wheel vibrated so hard my hands would get numb, even my feet tingled and if you let go of the steering wheel for more than 3 seconds you would be in the ditch. I canceled two days of my vacation and took it back early, because it was dangerous, the rental person said I would not get a refund for the unused days and I forced the issue with her manager. He refunded the days and gave me a 10% discount for the problems, which had ruined my vacation. 10% for the horrible condition of the camper did not make up for lost time in a long needed vacation. While my car was parked in the Brambillas sales parking area when I was inside filling out my rental agreement, a RV motor-home parked next to my personal car backed into it. NO one neither the RV owner or the employee involved in the hit and run reported the accident and when I asked the dealer ship if they knew who did it they said they didn't know, then said they were not allowed to tell me who it was for confidentially concerns. I called the police to report the crime and the policeman inquired who was involved the dealership admitted an employee was involved as a driver. Dealing with the staff of this RV dealer / rental of how I was treated like dirt left me a nasty taste of distrust and contempt for the devious dealings and untruths. I would recommend never going onto their property for any business of any kind. read more

Went to buy a used RV, cash in hand. It was one of their rental vehicles and a great deal. When we got there the salesperson was rushing us, saying there were other buyers who wanted it, sight unseen. We insisted on a pre-purchase inspection and he finally let us take it to a mechanic. Extensive water damage--floor under laminate was completely wet. They had used bleach or something to kill the mold. We passed. Beware. Wasted a lot of our time, but at least we didn't have to travel hundreds of miles, as many people will do when buying an RV. I feel sorry for whoever buys this RV. read more

We booked Brambillas' 2015 Itasca Viva 23 L on July 5, 2016 for a 2-week 3,000 mile 19th wedding anniversary RV trip. It was to officially start Monday, Aug, 8 at 3:00 p.m. The time we were told to be there to pick up the rented RV. On Friday, Aug. 5 we received a call stating our rental was stalled in Iowa so we were to receive a 31-foot RV instead. On the morning of the trip we received another call stating the 31-foot RV needed to be tuned up after making the trip to pick up the stalled RV in Iowa so we were getting a 2008 RV that was currently on their for sale lot. It's now 6:30 p.m. and still no RV. Had to wait for their service man to check the RV but he was too busy putting out fires for other rentals. It was such a disappointment and the customer service was nill. We got the comment, "Are you still waiting for so and so to check the RV??" No we like to stand in front of the customer service desk because it's such a great time. And to listen to the worker/owner about her divorce was astonishing. She only acknowledged us when we decided to cancel the entire trip. After two stalled RV's and the customer service we received we'll spend our nearly $4,000 trip somewhere else thank you very much. I would think twice before renting at this facility. And the kicker? We are totally in the market for an RV and was planning on buying after our trip. But after what happened we said forget them. read more

We've been taking our RV's to Brambillas for years. We purchased a brand new Itasca from them in 2013, store it there and service it there. We've never had any issues. The service department does a good job of letting you know what the problem is and fixing it. I like the home town feel they have there, good selection of RV's and trailers. Here's a little story. We rented a 38 ft RV from Brambilla's in Shakopee (across the street from Valleyfair). While driving the speed limit our front right tire EXPLODED and almost killed us (the RV lurched and it was all I could do to keep it rolling, kids screaming/crying, etc). We were stranded in 100 degree heat for 24 hours while waiting Brambilla's to help us. The propane tank was spewing propane; it had to be shut down and was useless. I had to make some repairs myself and rig a makeshift headlight just to drive legally the rest of the way home yadda yadda. The entire time we were dealing with Brambilla's. At the time they were so grateful that we agreed to remain with their unit. They offered to help and promised to pay for everything. Once we turned the RV in we were told we should "leave quick before Jack (the old, curmudgeon owner) sees you! He gets very angry". WTF? Long story: now Brambilla's is saying this is ALL OUR FAULT, the tire was wonderful and new and flawless. They have completely reneged on everything they had promised. Instead, they are: 1. Keeping our $1,000 security deposit 2. Billing us for the $1,100 tire and repairs 3. NOT reimbursing for 3 hotel rooms LIKE THEY PROMISED 4. Asking for $5,000 additional in "damages" 5. AND they made an unauthorized charge to our CC they had on file a few days ago This is all AFTER their insurance paid them out so they have already accepted responsibility. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you give them your credit card info. read more

can we do less than one star??? hubby took the little toyota motorhome to brambilla's with the assurance from them that they could fix anything, including the water system in said motorhome. the o rings were leaking, and there were puddles from the faucets, etc. the work order was written up, the motorhome left for service, and hubby was told that he could pick it up the next day. he paid over 200 bux for the job, brought it home, and made the error of waiting two days before testing it. when he did, it immediately leaked as it had, before. turns out that whoever did the work either didn't bother to read the work order, or totally misread it--they fixed the o rings in the holding tanks--not the water tanks. the result was soaked carpets in the motorhome, more damage to the floorboards, and an irate hubby. he called them, and brought the motorhome back (this is a trip of 60+ miles, one way. we are now up to 180 miles.) this time he specifically told the repair crew exactly what he needed to have done, took him out there, and showed him the task at hand--and he left it overnight. when he returned to get it the next day, they charged him another 54 bux. to fix their error. he brought it home to test it, and found that the entire water tank was cracked. ergo--there is no way to test the new rings, because all the water runs out of the water system. he is afraid to bring it back, for fear of what might get broken next. and the main expectation at this point is that they will never own up to having cracked the tank. hubby has given up--but will never go back there again. if you do go, be sure they know exactly what it is that you want done, or you may find that your work order for a dent in a fender might result in an oil change. don't waste your time or money. read more
