This is our first review…read more First thing to know is the rentals RV's are very low quality. You can tell once you spend a night in it. Ours, #34, was not properly sealed and you could see the outside through the walls when the side was extended. The muffler fell off while driving and it had a water leak inside soaking all our clothes. I fixed both these problems during the trip. Yet they still charged me a $300 late fee and $280 extra day charge! I was late, but because of these issues. They said I should have interrupted our vacation, called them, and had the RV serviced. I understand this, but I was able to temporarily repair the issues and continue with our family trip. I asked if they could compromise and split the difference in extra charges. The owners are entitled and think they are doing customers a favor. I went here because they are a local business, but their business practices is what is ruining American businesses. I'm a business owner myself and would be ashamed of customer service like theirs. NEVER RENT OR BUY AN RV FROM THEM!!!

Unfortunately we lost our trailer to fire damage that wasn't our fire, and we are shopping again. We stopped by Niemeyer because it was close to home and they had some nice Rockwood trailers on their website. We have decided to buy a trailer from them, and we drove away feeling so much better about the process than our first buying process. Niemeyer doesn't have a huge staff...we worked directly with Jim Niemeyer. There was no pressure, no add-on sales tactics...just a small business doing business the right way. Even though we are buying it in January, they will keep it in their back lot until we are ready to bring it home...for no cost and no hassles. This was the third RV purchase for my wife and me and it ranks right up there with Camping World -…read moreall we want is a done deal and should there be issues with your RV all you will get from Hilltop is double talk. We purchased a 2020 Palimino 5th wheel and had it delivered to our seasonal campsite. That is where the trouble began. It is requeired at the camp ground that we hard pipe to the sewer connection. When I opened the drain pipe I got a gush of black water - yes, the water was black. We were told we were purchasing the highest level of service available and 120 systems would be reviewed and tested. How could that be done and black water would be right there in the drain. Next I connected to our water source. Within 2 minutes of the water being turned on it was leaking from the water heater pressure relief valve. Apparently one of the 120 system checks, connecting to a water source was not checked. In the process of selecting this unit we spoke with our salesman and he indicated that a new residential refrigerator with an ice maker was being installed. Guess what? Neither the water source or the ice maker works, no water no ice. I have other issues but my point to all of this is how did these three items slide past the 120 point system inspection. In my conversations with the salesman and the sales manager it was clear in the manner that it was my problem. The sales manager indicated that they had someone that lived in my area and he could stop by and review the issues. I responded that I had a repair service scheduled for the next morning and the reply was something like well it seems you have it handled then. Having now bought from Camping World and Hilltop I will not shop at either of those companies again. I would not recommend either of them to anyone. They want the deal done and then they are moving on to the next sale. PS: The service provider I have used over the last 5 years will be here next week to replace the toiler flush valve and look into the water source for the fridge - another bill for me to pay.

We had this inspection done for our peace of mind. We learned that a lot of new rvs coming out of the pandemic had quality control issues, and since we were about to spend a lot of money we did not want to end up buying a lemon. We were so impressed with Rayanna! We checked out three rv inspectors prior to selecting Lab Approved RV and what stood out about Lab Approved was Rayanna's professionalism, her training and credentials, and the service we would receive for our money. She got back to us immediately after our first inquiry and kept in regular contact with us as we went along. She was good at answering our questions and thoroughly explained the process of an inspection and what to expect. The day after the inspection she provided us with a report that we accessed online, and then later printed out. Rayanna spent the day looking for safety issues, did an inspection of the roof and slides, as well as a very detailed evaluation of our trailer's electrical system, water system and propane--not to mention that she went over every inch of that trailer with a fine toothed comb--and I really mean that! Rayanna gave us an online 95-page detailed report which had about 100 photos and also included three videos. Rayanna did find three things and we were able to address those issues with the dealer before we took possession of the trailer. We feel what we payed to have this inspection done was well worth the investment and a great value for the money. It brought us peace of mind going forward. I highly recommend Lab Approved RV. Each and every time, they have gone above and beyond. One time we had a longer trip and a part on our screen door broke while we were on vacation. I called and they had the part for us before we came home. They take care of our camper for winter and spring service and all scheduled maintenance. As with anything, things can happen, but good relationships are critical, and they have always worked with us going above and beyond and we trust them. I would highly recommend them.
