I'm just handy and skilled, so I generally do all my own work and don't rely on a service department. The sales/purchase process was easy and without pain. Sure, the finance guy tried to sell me all kinds of extended warrantee's but he quickly figured out that I know how to say "NO" six different ways. Happy I got a phenomenal price and love my new camper.

We had this inspection done for our peace of mind. We learned that a lot of new rvs coming out of the pandemic had quality control issues, and since we were about to spend a lot of money we did not want to end up buying a lemon. We were so impressed with Rayanna! We checked out three rv inspectors prior to selecting Lab Approved RV and what stood out about Lab Approved was Rayanna's professionalism, her training and credentials, and the service we would receive for our money. She got back to us immediately after our first inquiry and kept in regular contact with us as we went along. She was good at answering our questions and thoroughly explained the process of an inspection and what to expect. The day after the inspection she provided us with a report that we accessed online, and then later printed out. Rayanna spent the day looking for safety issues, did an inspection of the roof and slides, as well as a very detailed evaluation of our trailer's electrical system, water system and propane--not to mention that she went over every inch of that trailer with a fine toothed comb--and I really mean that! Rayanna gave us an online 95-page detailed report which had about 100 photos and also included three videos. Rayanna did find three things and we were able to address those issues with the dealer before we took possession of the trailer. We feel what we payed to have this inspection done was well worth the investment and a great value for the money. It brought us peace of mind going forward. I highly recommend Lab Approved RV. I had my RV roof replaced by RV Repair and Renovation in the spring of 2022. They also repaired a…read moreslide out issue on my camper, and I am very thankful to them for having caught that issue, as I had not noticed what was wrong. Doug and his crew seem very friendly, and given the shortage of technicians that can perform whole roof repairs, I must admit that I was thankful that I found them at all. However, I had, and still have concerns with the job that was done. The repaired slide out makes weird noises, silicone caulking was used on my roof, and I'm concerned that some of it is even separating a bit. The rear backup camera was installed upside down, connected to the wrong circuit, and the antenna was missing. I had asked him about that, but never heard back. There were also nails protruding into the interior of the camper after the job was done, but when I brought that up, they said that they didn't believe it was an issue with their repair. I just got the sense that some details got missed, and I'm spending more of my time than I would have expected doing follow-up fixes.

You know how, when you have a problem, somebody always says "I know a guy!" Maybe you've said it…read moreyourself. Guess what: now you "know a guy" for fixing RV issues. Tom is wise in all things camper/motorhome/RV that everybody else seems to run away from when you have questions. Perhaps the best part is that they will come to you. We had them work on a pesky leak in the cabover of our class C. Painful as it was to hear, Tom showed us the horrible dry-rot from years of leaks. They rebuild the entire front-end and put a brand new roof on. It wasn't cheap, but likely less money than anybody else would have done it for; I've checked. Tom and his crew take pride in their work, rightfully proud of a job well done. Tom is a no-nonsense kind of guy. I by no means intend that to make it sounds like he's rude.. far from it. I like Tom. He's just one of those guys whose brain is wired to get to work on problems, and he has no time for chit-chat about other stuff. That's the kind of personality I want fixing issues that could otherwise turn a family vacation into hell. I have their number saved on my phone. I can't imagine going to anybody else for broken RV stuff.
